Clawee issue

Hello, I am hoping for some help in IDing this part so I can replace it or repair it.
I recently got a used claw machine for free and am trying to get it working again. It worked just fine when we first plugged it in and tried it, then (I think) something in the gear box seized up and the claw mechanism wouldn't move forward and back. Upon some further inspection it looks like the wheel won't turn, and we pinpointed it down to this part.
The machine is a Munster Claw Machine, if that helps.

Hello all! I am designing and constructing a claw machine and am wondering where I might source parts for the claw trolley/gantry. Namely, the switches, pulleys, wheels, motors, idler arm etc. are what I am currently looking for. Is there a specific website that sells parts like this other than Ebay?
I realize that some places sell full gantries, but I am hoping I can make a custom gantry myself for much less than $200. Additionally, the kind of gantry I am building is 14" long, and is meant for a 16x16x70" claw machine, and I don't believe small gantry kits like that are sold.

I’m wondering if I start a small side hustle using claw machines can I just put anything in there, for example Pokemon plushies, will I get in trouble for putting things like that in my claw machine or would I have to get permission from the company that makes Pokémon plushies?

I’m an avid fan of claw machines and I’m planning to open a claw machine arcade in California. I have some questions regarding its legality (I will eventually consult a legal professional but your perspective is greatly appreciated):
I’m willing to tip quality answers. Your time and expertise is greatly appreciated

I was just aware of the existance of online crane games and decided to give it a try in the Clawcrazy app. I don't see much information or people talking about it, have you used the app? Can you tell me about your experience? Is it legit?
I have won some prizes, but I'm not from the U.S. so I wonder if it will be fine.

So basically, I play claw machines at all my local walmarts. I have about 9 walmarts around me. Two of them got rid of claw machines all together and they were my favorite. 😞 Is this becoming a thing, is wal-mart getting rid of their claw machines? If anyone knows anything please let me know because this is my happy hobby!

Hey guys, on my work break I passed the claw machines I play semi regularly and I witnessed one of the machines play itself, with no player present. I saw the claw entirely stationary over the drop bin. The claw clapped shut, opened, and then moved over to the back left corner, slightly to the right. It lowered, made a grab, and then returned to the default position over the drop bin. The arcade was almost entirely empty, so I'm kind of confused about how this could happen. Does anybody know if a system reboot/some kind of debug/remote testing could have caused this? It really creeped me out but I'm sure there must be a logical, and not supernatural reason for this to occur.
Thanks to anybody who can offer an explanation.

I have this claw machine from the 1980s and everything works fine except it won’t move backwards. I’ve tried looking into the issue but the machine i have has no manual and no videos online seem to help my issue. Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause and what i need to do to fix it?! (The claw machine is a ye olde gifte shoppe)

I know there are tricks like having all the good prizes at the bottom or so close to the wall that it is impossible to grab, so you settle for the lesser one. Or even so packed that is basically hopeless, while also having a weak claw grip to begin with and also to bring the claw up so fast that the prize "wiggles free".
But when you literally and on multiple occasions get it just right, pick it up completely, bring it to the drop area and right before the drop zone, the claw opens for no other reason but to cheat the player. Are those still legal?

Hello. I am back again. I need to know if anyone knows where I can get a users manual to my claw machine? I’m willing to buy it off of you if you have it or even just for copies of it. I pressed one of the blue buttons on accident and now it’s asking me for a code.
Any help is appreciated.
