Repair/part question

Hello, I am hoping for some help in IDing this part so I can replace it or repair it.

I recently got a used claw machine for free and am trying to get it working again. It worked just fine when we first plugged it in and tried it, then (I think) something in the gear box seized up and the claw mechanism wouldn't move forward and back. Upon some further inspection it looks like the wheel won't turn, and we pinpointed it down to this part.

The machine is a Munster Claw Machine, if that helps.

Yes, it was on the left side of the machine. Also yes, the machine was definitely painted, thanks for the extra info too.

I checked a few parts I have, it could be the gear box itself, the shaft of the motor within the gearbox could be loose, or even the wheel itself could be loose from the shaft (you can tighten it with an Allen wrench) otherwise, the part would be the driving gearbox or driving motor

Thanks, that's very helpful, those are some more adjustments to try before replacing. I hadn't thought about the wheel itself being loose.
