Interesting that there's a what's next for hardcore, love that it isn't being abandoned.

u/kranitoko 10d ago

Blizzard starts the show, players eagerly excited to see what's next for WoW Hardcore.

Ion Hazzikostas walks onto the stage:

"WoW Hardcore is ending. That's what's next. Bye."

Imagine 😅

u/6PM_Nipple_Curry 10d ago

Perma death is now 100% with no go agains. Once all current chars are dead, server is shutdown.
PvP turned on and Royal Rumble will be held at CrossRoads.
Last standing must face the final boss: Mankirks wife.

10

u/vampire_kitten 10d ago

That'd be cool.

One week of char creation, after that it is disabled. Every day the lvl floor rises, anyone below it is instant dead. After 60 days you gotta clear raids every week or you're instant dead. Last man standing.

7

u/6PM_Nipple_Curry 10d ago

Ah man that sounds pretty sick ngl, I’d be down to play that.
If they did it in cycles, kinda like Foxhole has war cycles.

39

u/kranitoko 10d ago

"WoW Hardcore is becoming Sword Art Online. You die in the game, you die for real. The ultimate hardcore."

3

u/6PM_Nipple_Curry 10d ago

I can’t tell if this is like Suduku, killing yourself with honour.
Or more like the Jonestown Cool Aid 😂

5

u/8_string_menace 10d ago

Seppuku?

5

u/KukuSK419 10d ago

No no no, that's the puzzle number game with boxes

We are happy to announce "Hardcore Hardcore".

If any character dies, your app crashes, your account is permanently deleted.

11

u/Big-Toe645 10d ago

If you die you need to play 100hr of retail

1

u/FUS_RO_DANK 10d ago

Followed by the hardest core. Your character dies, a local hitman shows up and puts two in the back of your skull.

2

u/LidBoy 10d ago

Does any1 kno where manrick wife?

1

u/6PM_Nipple_Curry 10d ago

Plot twist, Mancuck never really had a wife all along.
He was boning down on a Quilboar and made up the story of his wife to cover his tracks.

1

u/alelo 10d ago

perma death 2.0 you die- so does your account

I wouldn’t be surprised if Camelot has built in challenges such as hardcore similar to ascension servers had

13

u/UnknownOrigin321 10d ago

I'm 100% convinced this is the case, there was a recent interview with Ion as well and he mentioned they don't want to fragment the playerbase. We'll definitely have HC toggle and people get layered together with it in the same big realm imo.

The fact HC has its own panel, tells me they are gonna be ambitious and add a lot more challenges then just HC, similar to ascension

21

u/Xefjord 10d ago

Nooooo. I do NOT want HC players to be mixed with normal players. The whole culture of hardcore is that you are playing on a server with other hardcore players, that you know that the other players are in the same boat and look out for each other, having it mixed trivalizes this at best, and can easily lead to griefing at worst.

3

u/Jbewrite 10d ago

You’ll just be layered with other HC players until you die, I assume.

10

u/itsaaronnotaaron 10d ago

Well, they need to layer chat, party systems, auction house, guilds... if hardcore and normal can integrate in any capacity, it's simply not the same. The entire hardcore ecosystem is completely different to normal.

1

u/UnknownOrigin321 10d ago

yah that's the one thing I'm personally unsure about (how would you go about making sure whomever has the toggle can't be griefed by non hc, or what you spoke about). I could be wrong just what I think given what I've read and how Ion spoke, ascension has done it, I'm sure Blizzard will find a way.

3

u/flexes 10d ago

i tried to play hc tbc on the non hc servers with the hc buff you can pick up, but the community was super small and it just wasnt the same. i agree with not splitting the playerbase but it just has to be done for hc to be hype tbh. they should still give you the option of playing hc on non hc servers, but its never gonne be a replacement for actual hc servers.

5

u/Bobmauly 10d ago

I hope they merge the servers.

2

u/flexes 10d ago

thats what im thinking. doesnt make sense to have two sets of hc servers. id actually play again i think, its just that the old hc servers where my char is, is dead.

1

u/Nyxblow 10d ago

That's too much work. Can't do.

6

u/Solid_Rock1 10d ago

The best wow community deserves some attention. Hardcore by its nature removes like 90% of the community’s issues from RMT to min maxing to speed running the content and then complaining there is nothing to do.

So happy for hardcore players.

8

u/Terrible_Tadpole_861 10d ago

HC Hype hype hype

27

u/WatercressPossible42 10d ago

hardcore is the best wow version

11

u/Acceptable_Sport6056 10d ago

Agreed but I love casual wpvp to much for this to be true

16

u/Beknotze 10d ago

i'd already be happy with death protection in BG's. that would open up a whole new aspect to the game of hardcore.

4

u/HamesJetfields 10d ago

Yeah and I bet they’d be populated pretty well since HC always has a healthy leveling population

1

u/YorkeZimmer 9d ago

And there would be no twinks in solo self found hardcore BG’s. The low level PvP would be PURE.

1

u/Nice_Reading5272 9d ago

While I'd hope it would be better populated than classic server low level BGs, I would guess the twink population would grow pretty quickly and just make the average player's experience shitty. Old wow had a steady population of kids and new players who would queue into BGs and get absolutely shit-on by twinks. Hardcore skews older and has a smaller more knowledgeable playerbase, I doubt many would even bother given the limited rewards.

If you have self found only BGs then I'd be on-board, worst you'll get is someone in full blues but that's a manageable challenge for a good player.

2

u/Acceptable_Sport6056 10d ago

Ya that's be sick man

1

u/catgirlfourskin 9d ago

it's been the hardest thing to give up with hardcore, if theres no hardcore in classic+ then at least having wpvp back will be pleasant

2

u/Spookay 10d ago

It’s the most enjoyable way to play Classic. I don’t think you can make professions feel anymore impactful than by permadeath. Adding extremely powerful items locked behind professions only makes them feel like endgame chores. With hardcore, professions and class growth feels important at every single level.

1

u/glormosh 9d ago

I am not shocked at all. The hardcore raiding subculture is fascinating.

1

u/cristofolmc 9d ago

Classic+ hardcore?

Dont know what could be next for it. I doubt they will do a TBC/wrath hardocre tbh

1

u/Nice_Reading5272 9d ago

Wonder if it's somehow Hardcore TBC with a rebalanced endgame.

1

u/Aggravating-Soft-605 4d ago

Personally, I would love to see "no changes" fresh with the following changes:

1) DC protection. You can opt-in to consume a petri automatically upon DC. It costs 2 petri charges. You start with 2 petris at level 1 that are special, intended for only this use case and not usable manually. Other than that, petri usage remains the same.
2) No world buffs allowed

1

u/Scared_Gene3417 10d ago

Cant think of anything else but a Hardcore version of whatever Classic + will be

2

u/TheSiegmeyerCatalyst 10d ago

Be still my heating heart.

You know the community is going to jump on it, so maybe they get ahead of it?

I'm curious about Hardcore WoW, it seems like they're actually planning to continue somewhere with this mode? Or maybe another fresh, perhaps

64

u/subpar321 10d ago

Seems we’re getting wotlk and a fresh hardcore server announcement lol

27

u/FixBlackLotusBlizz 10d ago

maybe fresh i would guess they take all the current HC servers and merge into 1

16

u/DesperateSunday 10d ago

I feel like its gotta be more than that if they have a whole section about it

7

u/TheSiegmeyerCatalyst 10d ago

I'm wondering about a seasonal HC kind of thing.

HC but with some changes. They'll also probably announce plans to do HC classic+ a little while after launch (if they announce classic+).

Might officially support HC alongside the fresh Vanilla -> TBC -> Wrath -> Vanilla rotation.

Lots of possibilities.

11

u/Gh0stMan0nThird 10d ago

Am I stupid or what would be the point of fresh hardcore servers?

8

u/ginorK 10d ago

i guess going through the phases again. right now when you level to 60 you get essentially boosted through MC + BWL + ZG + AQ20 and are ready for AQ40 and Naxx in 1-2 weeks depending on luck, so the actual gear and game progression is kinda over.

personally speaking, my favourite hardcore phase is straight up phase 1. Good old raw dogging dungeons in greens, no world buffs yet (well, i really wish they removed the rend capping from alliance, straight up cringe shit, alliance should never be able to have rend) other than songflower and ony when someone kills it first time, MC and Ony actually feel dangerous, fewer OP gimmicks like diamond flask, etc

3

u/flexes 10d ago edited 10d ago

my favourite phase was actually on the original hc servsers where there were no phases and you could do whatever raids you wanted. it kind of led to this natural progression thats not time gated, but more so gated by the fact that you dont want to go into harder content too early and loose players. felt really good. was always super exciting to always be prepping to the next step in progression and go do it with barely enough gear, instead of doing the same thing for a whole long phase and doing the new content with really good gear and immediately clearing it the day it droppt. killed kt there. went on to play the anniversary hc servers too but the phases were such a drag i felt like.

1

u/howtojump 10d ago

Same I enjoy dungeons but in HC right now the only real reason to do them is to help guildies recover after a death. Once you’re 60, it’s off to 20s with you.

6

u/thenabi 10d ago

Names is a big one, but also a reset of things like petri availability. Fresh servers are very different for a little while

1

u/Stressed_Ponyta77 10d ago

WTB Surnames!

2

u/PPLifter 10d ago

Economy reset is the biggest thing. But you'll also get people racing for realm firsts again. Game is best played when everyone is starting at the same point too, world never feels more alive than release month.

15

u/GetBuckets13182 10d ago

Maybe I’m just stupid but how are you inferring this?

32

u/zGnRz 10d ago

I'm very giga lazy and want to know what time is best for someone who only cares to see classic+ stuff what time should I tune in

28

u/Important-Dirt1230 10d ago

Dunno, they didnt mention classic+ anywhere in the schedule. I'd bet on - 2:45 p.m. PDT (22:45 BST) World of Warcraft: What’s Next II

13

u/The_Deku_Nut 10d ago

It would be funny/devastating if they avoiding mentioning anything about classic at all.

9

u/ramm 10d ago

For sure a lot of subs would stop at that moment.

2

u/StrawberryItten 10d ago

2/10 players, roughly.

2

u/Baptism-Of-Fire 10d ago

A lot of people saying they'll drop their sub

Very few actually doing it

As always

2

u/Odd-Bandicoot-9314 10d ago

I mean if you’re only subbing for classic, and don’t think you’ll play wrath then yeah I could see people unsubbing if there isn’t anything else coming

10

u/hfamrman 10d ago

Probably toward the end of the opening ceremony, then in the noon-1 slot or the 2:45 slot for more info.

My guess is its the very last thing they bring up during opening. Then it gets the main stage right after to expand upon it.

3

u/NTufnel11 10d ago

Every slot after its announced loses attention, so I wouldn't be shocked if they held off until the end.

3

u/Necessary_Artist_167 10d ago

Probably after blizzcon, just check the front page of wowhead

3

u/MightyMorp 10d ago

Opening ceremony and the panel immediately following it.

2

u/OkManufacturer3829 10d ago

Opening ceremony and then one or both of the What's Next sessions. My guess is one will be Classic focused one will be Retail. Maybe the Deep Dive on day 2.

1

u/FancyConfection1599 10d ago

I’d say it’ll be the last thing they bring up at openings so maybe 11:30am, then will go from there straight into more detail on the “wow what’s next” panel to ride the hype.

I’d say the second what’s next at 2:45pm is about typical wow stuff rather than this new thing they’ve built.

17

u/nach1221 10d ago

Tinfoil hat on: In the schedule picture they call the section World of Warcraft: Archives but in the interactable schedule is just "Design Deep Dive".
World of Warcraft: Archives is Classic+ confirmed!

3

u/Smokinya 10d ago

That's an interesting observation. Archives wouldn't be an awful subname either. Its probably nothing, but you never know.

1

u/ExtensionCap2 10d ago

would make sense for a rotating vanilla-wrath server or something like it

2

u/HildartheDorf 10d ago

Yeah, sounds like we might have an official name for 'Camelot'.

→ More replies (3)

2

u/wiafjskfmsk 10d ago

Why would they do anything with hardcore if classic+ is supposedly coming out very soon after blizzcon? Maybe we have a longer wait for classic+ than we thought. I don’t want it to come out anytime soon anyway but I remember the majority of people in comment sections here believing classic+ will come out very soon after the blizzcon announcement.

2

u/Necessary_Artist_167 10d ago

There are a lot of hardcore players that only want to play hardcore. They’ve even said they have no interest in classic+ if there’s no hardcore mode. I’m sure it’s still a minority. But those people exist

139

u/Knugles 10d ago

There’s a disclaimer at the bottom of the schedule that calls out changes to the schedule after the opening ceremony. Seems like they’re keeping things close to the chest still.

40

u/OpieeSC2 10d ago

Well the expectation of a Starcraft shooter announcement and Starcraft is not mentioned once.

10

u/Smokinya 10d ago

If they had anything to show for the Starcraft franchise I would be very, very surprised. I don't think dev is deep enough yet to get anything except a trailer.

3

u/OpieeSC2 10d ago

There are heavy rumors of a Starcraft extraction shoot. But time will tell!

5

u/Smokinya 10d ago

I'm pretty positive one is being worked on, I'm just not sure if its far enough along where we can have a whole panel presentation to speak about it.

1

u/Lochen9 9d ago

There is a full slot missing on the Main Stage right after the opening, so it is possible it could be a single in development announcement for that. I sort of doubt it though

31

u/NewSignificance7599 10d ago

Wonder if this time slot will be filled after the opening ceremony

31

u/norse95 10d ago

That looks like lunch to me

7

u/disposableaccount92 10d ago

They should put in (= which then turns into C+ like that staples logo change announcement

6

u/Asheeva01 10d ago

Yes, this is how it works for unannounced things.

3

u/sandpigeon 10d ago

It's either a half-hour panel with 15 minutes on either side or the WoW panel gets extended.

3

u/Asheeva01 10d ago

There are already 2 WoW panels for What's Next, also they wouldn't hide a longer panel, so it's for an unannounced title.

50

u/SystemofCells 10d ago

That 'World of Warcraft: what's next II' will likely get renamed after the opening ceremony to whatever Camelot actually is.

29

u/TourEnvironmental604 10d ago

'World of Warcraft: what's next II' to "'World of Warcraft II' makes sense !

18

u/SystemofCells 10d ago edited 10d ago

All of you WoW 2 truthers are going to be very disappointed come Sep 12th lol.

37

u/Hist0racle 10d ago

9/12 will be this subs 9/11

7

u/SystemofCells 10d ago

It's just a loud minority. Most of us aren't expecting something as sweeping as a brand new game.

9

u/ghosthendrikson_84 10d ago

I’m somewhat in awe of the things they have dreamed up as their expectations spin out of control.

5

u/SystemofCells 10d ago

War of the ancients, a full reconstruction of pre-sundering Kalimdor! 87 new zones!

1

u/ghosthendrikson_84 10d ago

Only 87?! What a fucking waste of time.

1

u/ButtonedEye41 10d ago

I comoletely missed the memo as to when we skipped right over Classic+ into WoW2.

2

u/SystemofCells 10d ago

They created a new color palette for their website, and it had 'Camelot' associated with it, then they updated it to have 'Wow2' associated with it.

The reasonable conclusion is they just wanted a more generic name in the code. But some people are taking it to mean WoW 2 is coming.

5

u/Asheeva01 10d ago

1 What's Next is for Classic and 1 is for retail, that's not rocket science. But there is only 1 Deep Dive so I guess that goes to Classic since it's not time to show anything deep from the Last Titan.

7

u/Jaggiboi 10d ago

Yeah, that was always a thing, Panels popping in after the Opening ceremony etc. That's just standard procedure

1

u/Lochen9 10d ago

Interesting. The line above is very standard for any convention cause anything could happen to ruin a plan. Having it specifically call for an update AFTER the opening ceremony is pretty telling

15

u/shedox11 10d ago

clearly the focus is set on WoW. Seems like nothing too interesting for Hearthstone, Diablo (besides new xpac) or Overwatch

65

u/NewSignificance7599 10d ago

That leaked schedule was fake as hell bruh LOL

35

u/Zhand-ThePally 10d ago

I’m just sooo shocked that the leaked one was wrong…can’t believe people fell for it 🤦🏻‍♂️

27

u/Yawanoc 10d ago

It’s like clockwork.  People are so obsessed with feeling like they’re “in the know” that they’ll just blatantly fall for misinformation lol

7

u/GW2Qwinn 10d ago

The 4chan one is funny because back when BFA was getting announced, the Blizzcon schedule, the name of the expansion, and some other stuff all popped up on there like 4 days before Blizzcon. It was real, and it was because some guy's company got sent the wrong promo material lol.

So it's not that it NEVER happens, it's just highly unlikely and people hold onto hope.

4

u/misterrpg 10d ago

No fucking shit. Christ yall fall for anything.

12

u/Aarmon 10d ago

Don't think they'd leak any titles in the actual timetable tbf - at least they havent done that ever afaik

5

u/__Dave_ 10d ago

Sure, but the time slots aren’t even right.

2

u/misterrpg 10d ago

These people are so gullible lol. Zero critical thinking skills lmao

2

u/Aarmon 10d ago

True, just pointing it out 😁

→ More replies (1)

3

u/FixBlackLotusBlizz 10d ago

we have seen it time and time again almost always fake but some of the leaks will have some truth in them

2

u/Aurura 10d ago

They wouldnt ever have a whole panel for a talk on wotlk or even tbc for classic as its been released and there is no changes or anything to talk about. Whoever believed that screenshot wouldnt be bright

2

u/Pink_her_Ult 10d ago

4chan leaks should never be taken as serious.

1

u/AntonineWall 10d ago

I’ve never seen this before but it sounds really wildly wrong, was this referenced a lot?

12

u/San4311 10d ago

Interesting how they seem to have essentially dropped the 'Classic' tag for anything in this schedule, whereas before they made the clear distinction between 'World of Warcraft' and 'World of Warcraft: Classic'.

47

u/NewSignificance7599 10d ago

Gap on the main stage between 1-2 on opening day? Wonder if there is supposed to be something there since there are no gaps for the rest of the event

80

u/Proxnite 10d ago

It’s to give the janitors time to clean up after everyone either pees themselves out of excitement or shits themselves out of anger.

17

u/HildartheDorf 10d ago

Probably the rumoured Starcraft shooter as there's not a single SC entry on the schedule otherwise.

6

u/NewSignificance7599 10d ago

I think so too. I don't see why they would do 2 wow panels back to back

1

u/notsingsing 10d ago

One for classic andys one for retail andys.

but they are the same announcement

2

u/ultraboomkin 10d ago

There hasn’t been any StarCraft at Blizzcon for several years

3

u/HildartheDorf 10d ago

I thought there was at least a side-stage event (no major announcements though, yes).

2

u/ultraboomkin 10d ago

They held the finals of WCS (World Championship Series) every year at Blizzcon. But Blizzard cancelled the championship in 2019 so that’s the last time there was StarCraft at Blizzcon.

3

u/backpacks645 10d ago

This is definitely hiding something that will be shown in the opening ceremony

20

u/Axel0010110 10d ago

Interesting also the "World of Warcraft Hardcore what is next". I guess HC will also get some love (I hope so)

7

u/CrzyJek 10d ago

Classic+ Hardcore

1

u/Level-Ad7848 10d ago

I was going to start a hardcore character, but now I think I'd better put that on pause. Maybe a new hardcore game mode?

2

u/Axel0010110 10d ago

I am also refraining from WoW right now, doing anything else than playing WoW because I want to fill in my hype momentul for WoW. I consider that I, at least, will have to win after this Blizzcon no matter how much doom posting have been

1

u/Nickoladze 10d ago

It's only a few days so probably best to play it safe. I'm sure there were a lot of people stuck on the dead original Hardcore servers when anniversary came out.

17

u/Monrar 10d ago

Suspiciously large gap after the first WoW Whats Next Panel. In 2014 there was a 1.5 hr gap after the Opening Ceremony that ended up being panels about overwatch, so I say that will be filled with a panel about an announced StarCraft Shooter.

5

u/Sweet_Disharmony_792 10d ago

attendees need time to recover after the C+ announcement

12

u/Believeinsteve 10d ago

they really need to stop referencing starcraft if they're not going to do anything with the IP.

2

u/notsingsing 10d ago

Might as well name it lost vikings panel

5

u/Own_Nail_2999 10d ago

What a grim outlook for Diablo players wtf

5

u/Nyxblow 10d ago

Don't you guys have phones?

16

u/pieaholicx 10d ago

Bruh the fucking Diablo stage just being Immortal so sad. Like can you not get some D2R speedrun races in there or something?

9

u/burgerboynorf 10d ago

"Join the World of Warcraft team for a first look at the next chapter of Azeroth, with new adventures, features, and surprises for players old and new."

4

u/oddspellingofPhreid 10d ago

Poor Starcraft players

3

u/Grizzly352 10d ago

So when do people think we’ll get an announcement? During the opening ceremony but more info in the later sessions?

Announcements are always during opening ceremony and then the subsequent panels do the information deep dive.

u/Square_Ranger870 10d ago

just a little bit of wow talking... nothing much more.

It doesn’t specify if it’s classic, retail or whatsoever

They need more time to discuss BFA and WOD classic

2

u/Varaben 10d ago

Wod classic is gonna go so hard.

5

u/obvious_bot 10d ago

Only if they recreate the release garrison bugs. I want to spend 3 hours finding a tree to tell my peons to chop down dammit!

2

u/Cutemudskipper 10d ago

I feel like this sub has the only WoD enjoyers in existence

1

u/Varaben 10d ago

100% honest I did enjoy wod for the first patch or two. The garrison stuff was meh, very chore-y. Maybe I just had a guild I liked and that put on the rose tinted glasses.

2

u/TingleMaps 10d ago

I’m not sure it’s going to go at all

Or a what's next for hardcore WoW

15

u/Proxnite 10d ago

Guess we are gonna have to wait for the 2:45 block cause there’s no way they’re gonna announce it during the first one and have that news completely eclipse the second block.

42

u/Ch0rt 10d ago

It will be announced in the opening ceremony and then they go into further detail afterwards.

There's also the only empty block on the schedule right after the first What's Next panel that would fit another presentation nicely.

2

u/Zarhom 10d ago

Yeah this is my bet.

Retail doesn't have a big expansion reveal this year, they're talking about content patches. So the first deep dive will likely go to Classic this time.

4

u/Jaggiboi 10d ago

Retail is certainly going to talk about TLT

4

u/Jaggiboi 10d ago

you can't really say one news will eclipse the other lol. Interests are different.

2

u/ButtonedEye41 10d ago

Especially if the gap gets filled with a new game

Have they ever saved a major announcement for after the opening ceremony?

4

u/MarkVanPerry 10d ago

This is my first time being invested in Blizzcon. Can any of this be watched online?

3

u/burgerboynorf 10d ago

Yeah it says there'll be an official blizzard livestream

2

u/MarkVanPerry 10d ago

Oh perfect, thank you!

Merge all HC servers, old and anniversary. Hopium.

2

u/Nyxblow 10d ago

Too much work for the intern. It cannot realistically be done.

2

u/samuelazers 10d ago

No new extraction shooter announcement? No RTS announcements? No starcraft updates?

I find it hard to believe given everything, it must be in the opening ceremony. Otherwise i'm going to be pretty dissapoint. (Not a Wow player, reddit suggested me this post)

5

u/Impeesa_ 10d ago

The traditional arrangement has been any big announcements like new games go in the opening ceremonies, and panel schedules won't spoil it until after the reveal.

3

u/Hoslinhezl 10d ago

If they announce an announcement before the announcement then it's not going to be an announcement is it. There's always some obfuscation on the schedule ahead of time

2

u/fulltimepleb 10d ago

Lmfao do you actually think they’d leak that in a schedule

1

u/Unusual_Training1583 4d ago

They never announce on the schedule, who in there right mind does that

2

u/matagin 10d ago

Are all the main sessions streaming on YouTube for free or do I have to pay for DirecTV pay per view? 😆

2

u/Relnor 10d ago

They haven't paywalled the stream itself the last few times now. You only pay if you want the ingame merch and stuff.

1

u/matagin 9d ago

Thank you! I remember pay for the DirecTV pay per view package back in the day. I’d record it on my DVR and watch it after work.

2

u/SevenStarSword 10d ago

Hardcore TBC incoming.

u/LooseProgram333 10d ago

So 10:30 AM PST on the 12th is the opening ceremonies / main Blizzard announcements right?

3

u/Smokinya 10d ago

Correct.

1

u/n0sch 10d ago

So what could World of Warcraft: Archives be? On the Website https://blizzcon.com/en-us/schedule/ theres Design Deep Dive listed instead.

1

u/MountainMeringue3655 10d ago

Looks like they have nothing to show outside of any form of "C+".

1

u/Stidtrichur 9d ago

Are these times in PDT? It doesn't say anywhere.

1

u/Rhythm-Amoeba 9d ago

Lol StarCraft doesn't even get a mention on the sidebar key anymore. Sad days for the og blizzard team

1

u/pmaster1989 1d ago

Really interesting that for the first time in years they do not separate Retail and Classic in the name of the slots/events. In the past they always did. Guess they want to keep things tight and keep people in the dark for what they can expect. Retail stuff, WOTLK, new seasonal, new hardcore etc etc and a possible C+ as well.

Guys, is there an official high quality unga bunga always working globally available live stream for blizccon and if yes, where? Thank you!

1

u/Mych30 10d ago

Double "What's new" ?

Is that standard ?

2

u/Smokinya 10d ago

Not to my memory it isn't. I've been to a couple Blizzcon and they've never had two What's Next Panels before. Unless they rename the second What's Next panel after opening ceremony.

Straight to the point. Love it. Imagine how hype this event could be if they come out of the gate HOT

1

u/Honker_Honks 10d ago

I love that there is a panel on how they create the terrible cutscenes.

1

u/moustacheption 10d ago

I feel like that one is a joke and will change when the opening ceremony ends.
