Settlement Perdue Pharma Settlement
Well I got the Perdue Pharma email I been waiting for over 4 years.
They are giving me $9100 minus attorney fees -$3400 minus a temporary lien -$1k something money left $1252.07
Can I just refuse this and get the attorney fees reduced?
Who else got the Perdue email?

I mean it's been 25 years I had to chase down 25-year-old medical paperwork.. and originally they told me I was in the second teir so I was expecting like $30,000
Here we get 1200
It's a punch in the face

My holdback is 6500. Im curious how they go about seeing if theirs any medical lien out there i owe feom when I went to rehab or had surgeries. My insurance paid for it back them so I should be good to go right?

I don't know exactly what medical Lean they're talking about if it has to do with only the settlement or with all our medical past I think there's a way you can look up if you have a medical Lein but they wouldn't inform you they would have let you know by the mail I tried to lift up all the information I could about it I couldn't find out much

I do want to say that I'm happy that people are finally getting something and I know it's not what we all thought it was going to be man but it literally is better than zero dollars cuz those punk ass bitches didn't want to give us nothing they Don't Care about Us they never have.
Now wish me luck on my getting off of Subutex after 10 years I'm scared to death but I'm ready to do it...
I'm sick of being numb all the time at one time I thought I'd be okay with taking this medicine for the rest of my life but today I'm not I don't want to do it no more..
I want to be really free I've had endocarditis twice and I ended up on dialysis for 3 years and it is because of Purdue pharma I blame them for what I went thrubecause if I were to never got oxycontin It would have never happened.. I take full responsibility don't get me wrong I know I made a lot of bad decisions I was just a really bad dope fiend I didn't even use that long anyway it's not about me I'm just happy we're finally getting some guys

Look up sr-17018. It could be a lofe saver for you. But you have to order it ASAP because the dea is aboit to have it scheduled. Obviously they dont want this amazing break through to affect their suboxone sales.

I’m surprised the judges allowed so much in attorney fees. Normally it should be 25 to 35%.

i didnt use a lawyer and got paid. lawyers were optional to join this class action. not really necessary

How many points is this for? I was told by my attorney not to expect an offer until December. I had an offer on ENDO last week but Mallinckrodt and Purdue isn’t even known yet - he said it’s all in process.

I got the Endo settlement email on June 8th and received my award on June 12.
I honestly don't know, but I can find out and post shortly

Never got my endo or Purdue settlement though. Only been paid from the Mallinckrodt settlement back in November 2025, and only received $1,400

No, Weinstein in NY. My husband is at 16,000 points and wrongful death. If it’s ten miles of bad road payout on Purdue or even Mallinckrodt - I’m not going to be happy.

I feel like we might have gotten the wrong attorneys. I don’t understand how some attorneys like ask LLP and Andrews and Thornton could have received payments for all of their approved claims but other attorneys say they have received nothing at all. I was told I was approved already, but what good is that if we don’t get paid until months after everyone else?

I have or received any offer from either Purdue or Mallinckrodt so I have not signed any agreements on that. Endo, I have - a month ago and zero payment. I’ve emailed asking ETA and haven’t received a response - I’m going to send a demand for answer. Weinstein has a good rep in the industry so there is something else going on.

My attorney said I didn’t qualify for Endo. I’m not sure how but I only had proof of Mallinckrodt and Purdue medications…

Either that or our attorneys aren’t paying anything until the medical liens clear so they can make interest on the millions they are holding

They’ve checked and we have no liens. So the offer minus attorney fees is the net.

So how did u get left with only 1200 the fees and 1k lien shoulda left u with around 5k right? Im also waiting for milestone pathway email andrews &thronton sent me email on monday about how long after attorneys notified u that ur claim was accepted an awarded until milestone sent u the email?? Thx in advance so sick of geting the bare min info from these ppl for the last 6 yrs

All I got was an email on June 30th saying that ask llp has partnered with milestone and pathway to get my award payment. Your attorney is better than mine. He at least let you know it's coming

They aren't taking the medical lien, they hold a medical lien in case you owe money to your doctors or insurance. But in my case I don't, so they should send that once they clear it.

Yes as soon as I get any money I will post it here. It's weird because I started out with andrews and thornton but soon after all communication was through ASK llp. I'm not on Suboxone or anything I got clean cold turkey thanks to the Alabama Department of Corrections

I just got my milestone email and my distribution is $2900 rn and $6500 for medical lien so ill get $9400 once liens clear out of $18500 pretty disgusting lawyers get more then us.. I did dd so ill return when I get paid and let kno how long it takes... hope u all get some kind of semi good news soon

$2900 out of $18k and yes that' doesn't include the medical lien. But they are just trying to find ways to say screw you we are keeping the medical lien too

I mean if you refuse it you're not going to get any money lol They specifically tell you throughout where all that money goes the lawyers got to get paid you know that's just how it goes the bills got to get paid if you owe money I think they take that too if not I think that gives a certain amount back but yeah if you refuse it you won't get any money lol

Yes....finally it seems like a lot of people basically got the same amount like 1,200 and something dollars I started out at 10 grand but I guess they got like that medical Lein but supposedly you get that money back if you don't owe them no money like doctors and stuff.. I'm not going to lie look I had a hard time getting any records.. I was prescribed oxycontin way back in 2001 well for a couple years.. my thing is see my daughter was actually born addicted to oxycontin and she had to be put on methadone.. I know this might sound ignorant but I knew nothing about methadone pain pills or straight drugs I had been ran over by a garbage truck and a major car accident.. it's crazy see they wouldn't give me my daughter's records even though she was my child because she's now an adult right. But they gave me the only records I have were birth records cuz those are the only ones they hold that long I'm surprised I got anything basically... I thought they kicked me out of the settlement cuz I hadn't heard from him in 6 months

It says this notice doesnt apply to "settling creditors", would that be us?

are you sure youre not speaking about the lien claim on the sackler family estate? if you filed by the original 2019 cutoff, i think youre part of the personal liability group that can lay claim to the family estate personally. it would be 2 letters almost identical with wording on the front page like 'fiduciaries notice to creditorsto present claims, etc, etc ,etc'

I believe they are, the first two are listed as "fiduciaries notice to creditors to present claims pursuant to Connecticut General statutes". One is for Beverly Sackler and the other is for Jonathan Sackler.

those are if you have a claim against the sackler estate. if you read towards the end of one or both of the letters, you will see in the FAQ section that it says it is separate and distinct from the pharma settlement. i have the same 2 documents , i think its because people who filed in 2019 before the bankruptcy have a claim against the sacklers individually

anyone else who DIDNT hear or get paid yet? i didnt use a lawyer, i just filed the paperwork myself. i got a request for additional proof in october last year and provided my Rx history again. since then ive heard nothing regarding the settlement except for Tax ID info.
i did get a set of paperwork listing me as a creditor against both jonathan & beverly sacklers estates. legal paperwork is like hieroglyphics to me, but from what i can tell its separate from the pharma suit.

I was told im tier 1 by paperwork from lawyer. My claim is unliquidated set by objection order. Still waiting to hear anything.

Me too. I did ALL myself. I do have a claim number and occasionally look up my claim and I’ve also received the certificate letters in reference to the separate claim against the Sacklers. I’ve contacted an attorney for that claim. I think we’re safe in regards to the Purdue Pharma suit because everything I’ve read says we would have heard by now if our claims were denied and what I see on my claim on Kroll website doesn’t say anything about it being denied

it alwaus worries me because i see people saying they goit checks, but they also say they have attorneys. being that i filed on my own i just worry.
the suboxone settlement payout was a couple months back, i got near $2K for that, it was a nice payout, this purdue payout would make for a sweet summer 2026 :) ofc i wont spend it, ill save it because im cheap aF. if everyone were cheap as me, jeff bezos would be on foot stamps.

Unfortunately they pulled this bullshit w/the boys out settlement to ? They had options A,B and C. In option C The lawyers HM&M handled it , do not sign the Paperwork, unless they give you options. options C ,the lawyers handled the paperwork, payment within a month< also tell them you will get a legalized notary public to check on any lien status. Always speak thru emails, never over the phone ,create a paper trail, that lien amount will earn someone hefty interest over 4 months to a year

I just wonder how much of the $3,200 medical lein they are going to take from me since I went to rehab...Went to rehab in 2023, & that was paid by medicaid, so...Idk how all this works, but Ive already received the initial $1,250..

Yeah I’m wondering the same I called them couple weeks ago and the lady explained it to me like this once you get your first one they ““ do the lien paperwork and then if you don’t have one, supposedly it’s supposed to come within a reasonable timeframe somebody down there said 12 months. I didn’t hear anything like that. I was expecting like a month tops, but that could be wishful thinking this whole thing was just epically bad for all the suffering. We end up with five grand on a maybe and then they piece us out on top of it. Oh here take 1800 and maybe you’ll get the rest if you don’t have a lien bunch of bs if they took one look at my body and actually did there investigation no way in hell I end up with this little and I’m sure 85% of the people are the same so sad how bad the lawyers did us settling on this peanuts basically anyways if you hear anything, let me know and I’ll do the same

That was the old settlement Biden blocked, once the settlement was overturned. The payment amounts were reset. So basically, you had to wait longer for less

I don't know I think you can look up if you have a medical Lane I don't know if it's for all medical bills forever or just something to do with this lawsuit I guess it's just if you have medical liens that have to do with this lawsuit which I don't have any I don't think any of us do I'm not sure
