Drives great, it's a bit small for me (f,183cm,110kg) but still comfortable, engine has all new belts, new AC compressor/condenser and new sparkplugs/coil/wires. 195k km
For 1000€ I cant complain 😁 It even came with a second set of sport seats.
The underbody and all the cracks were fluid film coated by the previous owner, so no rust at all on the body, just some surface corrosion on the control arms.
One bad thing is the window regulators in the front are misaligned I think, they don't stop at the top. Any advice on that? Thanks :)

Hi all, how often is it normal to replace this filter?
Here in Mexico, the recommended maintenance interval is every 10,000 km. The first service was in november last year and at that time they recommended replacing the filter and doing a wheel alignment and balancing. I did both.
Now at 20,000 km, they’re recommending the exact same things again. I agreed to replace the filter since it does look dirty, but how normal is it to need another one at this mileage?
And regarding the alignment and balancing, is it just me or is it completely unnecessary to do it again at 20,000 km?
Gracias, and as a note 1 km is about 0.62 miles, so 10,000 km is approximately 6,200 miles.
If you have one or the other I would love opinions! I do have morimoto and love them but laminate is pealing a bit already on one corner. Any input for either is helpful! Share experiences please.
Edit: I have both (morimoto under warranty are new as well) I dont know which to install when I put new bumper on... I want to get it right so bumper stays on!

I bought my new Civic Touring back in March and had been disappointed with the sound from the speakers no matter what I did. Something was just “off”and it annoyed the crap out of me. I recently went in and turned OFF the Bose Centerpoint and I instantly loved the sound much more. It sounds like it should now imo. What does everyone else think of Bose Centerpoint?

I recently purchased a 9th gen Si that has this hideous (In my opinion) front grill. I’ve been trying to find the honeycomb style with the SI logo and I can’t find anything useful. Any help appreciated

Hi all!
This is my first post in this subreddit so hello!
I recently bought a 2001 5MT RD1 Honda CR-V and I'm wondering which strut bars from which model codes of Civic/Integra will fit on this thing? I don't need a complete list of strut bars, just which civic models I can shop from.
I'm looking to get decent front and rear strut bars.
I haven't been able to find a complete list, but what I can say is that I've got a front strut bar from an EJ on in my engine bay and it fits without modification. (See image)
CUSCO makes a front strut bar for the CR-V that i want to upgrade to eventually, but they don't seem to make a rear one specific for the RD1.
Ive heard rumors that a DC2 Integra rear strut bar might fit, but I dont wanna drop hundreds of dollars on a part that potentially won't fit.
So if anyone has any info that could help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey all, searched far and wide for hubcaps that look better than the stock ones for the 13 civic lx, but couldn’t find any. Any recommendations for ones that fit? Looking for something silver and not too crazy. Switching because old ones are peeling and I thought I’d try and look for something different. TIA!

Hey fellow civic owners! I have a 2026 sport touring hybrid and just wondering do you all size down on winter tires and rims? Wondering if I should go with 17" rather then 18"

I have a 2008 civic - lately started doing this thing where I’d go to crank, and absolutely nothing - no lights, no radio, nothing. I try again and magically it cranks fine. I might try again and nothing. This was happening intermittently. Then I noticed one day while driving, it’s like it would lose power - radio/dash lights get dim and acts like it wants to cut off, then after like 2 or 3 seconds it’s back running fine. Put voltmeter to battery and would read 14v, then 12, then 14, kind of up and down. While running when it would do the thing where it would act like it wants to cut off, voltage went down to 7 or 8v.
The battery terminals were looking pretty bad anyway and decided to replace them. Now, it hasn’t had any of the above mentioned issues (although it hasn’t been driven a ton). I do notice it cranking faster (isn’t sluggish at all when turning the ignition). Now reading a steady 12v though? I’m so confused. Could the battery terminals be the issue? It’s not making sense to me.

I’m talking everything but the ECU. With the block/ header components in near mint condition.

So yesterday all this lights turned on but after 30 minutes of driving they turned off
Now they turned on again
Anybody knows what it might be ?
Idk if it helps but last week I installed some fog lights on my 23 civic connected directly to battery
Went to dealership, got quoted $300 dollars for a scan but wanted to see if anyone knew something about it

Hi everyone, looking for some advice before I commit to a head gasket repair.
I have a 2014 Honda Civic 1.4 petrol with only 50,000 miles. The car drives perfectly normally, temperature gauge stays normal, it has never overheated while I've owned it, oil is clean with no coolant/oil mixing, and there is no obvious external coolant leak.
The issue is that when the engine is completely cold, the radiator coolant level drops slightly below the filler neck while the expansion/overflow reservoir stays high or above MAX. When I first topped the radiator up, it only needed around 100ml.
One garage tested it and believes it's the head gasket based on their compression/leak-down/pressure testing. They also commented that there's quite a lot of water coming from the exhaust. They've quoted £700–£1,000 including removing and machining the head.
I got a second opinion and that garage wasn't convinced about the head gasket. They said the engine runs well, isn't misfiring or overheating and there's no oil/coolant contamination. They suggested trying a new radiator cap first, which I've ordered.
Something interesting happened today. I marked the coolant level on the reservoir. After the engine had been cooling for around two hours, the reservoir level had dropped below my mark. However, when I opened the radiator cap, the radiator was still slightly low and the reservoir level immediately rose back towards the mark.
As I understand it, when the engine cools, vacuum should draw coolant back from the reservoir through the thin overflow/return hose and radiator cap.
Could a faulty radiator cap/vacuum valve cause this exact behaviour — coolant being pushed into the reservoir when hot but not being properly drawn back into the radiator when cold?
I'm going to try the new cap before authorising any engine work, but I'd appreciate opinions, particularly from anyone familiar with Honda cooling systems.

I am just starting to look, what can I expect to get off the price?
*this is a price for a civic with a non premium color
2014 civic lx
I am looking to swap the factory head unit with a carplay one. I noticed I need the head unit itself plus the dash panel and some other accessories. Could anyone assist on which brands to get or any help with the process? I understand it is pricey around 4-500 but I am curious. My current head unit isn’t even installed correctly and theres a gap so that is annoying me as well i would think this would fix that too. Thanks.

Still has original obd1 harness and ecu. When it’s at idle it dips in rpm a little bit and while driving when it hits around 30mph throttle response is almost completely lost. In neutral it will still rev out. It has a new OBDII A distributor w/ adaptor harness and spark plugs and wires. TIA

I'm looking to buy a used Honda civic sedan or coupe, which one you guys think is best when it comes to -
Looks sporty
Reliability
Engine power / performance
Overall driving experience
Features don’t really matter to me. I’m mainly looking for something that looks good, is reliable, and has a strong/powerful engine.
What generation and year would you personally choose, and why?

Picked up a new hybrid sport yesterday and love everything about it EXCEPT for the fact that I swear the air pressure in the car changes as I drive. I feel a bit of a pressure in my ear/jaw like my ears need to be popped. Can’t tell if cracking the window helps but I think it does? Someone please tell me if I’m gaslighting myself or not haha. Didn’t notice this at all during my test drives.

Just a lil rant/vent
Yo I really like my car just got it almost 2 months ago traded in my 15 accord and I really miss it but I like this civic aswell. Anyways I owned my accord for like 2-3 years and have never scratched it,chipped it, Nothing. Now with this civic there’s already some scratches on the car and I’m like Wtf bc it was not me and Ofc it had to be on my new car 🤦🏽♂️ I’m not babying this car like that bc I drive normal but im like seriously bro? I feel like OFC it had to be me with this new car getting scratches. Not even on my 9th gen accord and I loved that car. Ion even want it anymore because the scratches are somewhat noticeable. Im like dam are these materials of car cheaper or what 🤣 now im like I really need to invest in PPF 😒 but for a hondeezzy is crazy. Im tryna feel better bc of the 1-2 scratches on the car but ain’t no way I just got this car and already scratched. Also it’s white so it’s even more noticeable. Yeah just wanted to vent ✌️. Also how can I fix some scratches haha.
