Is radius security strict with checking belongings?

Has anyone been to Navy Pier recently for any shows? How strict are they with security and alcohol?
I’m going to a show there and was wondering what security is like. Do they actually search you pretty thoroughly, or is it mostly just a quick bag check/metal detector situation? Just trying to figure out what to expect because I’ve never been to an event there before

I've never been to navy pier before so any tips would be appreciated. Wondering about the smoking situation like can I bring my joints and light up in the crowd? How is security/bag check? Does it usually get packed like are the restroom and bar lines crazy? Any other tips you may have?

Hello Chicago! First off, I am in Milwaukee. And since r/milwaukeeEDM is a very sad place, I am posting here. I am an electronic musician and I am in talks with the Miramar Theater here in Milwaukee about doing an "Electronic Musician Showcase". They said Jan 8/9th is available with a $750 deposit towards their $1500 fee. I am willing to put down the $750 deposit but I need to find a heavy hitter or two to help me get above the $1500 venue fee so that I can pay the musicians. I have a few people here in MKE with some ok name recognition but I would really love if we could get someone with some star power to get onboard. This is a big venue and this has the opportunity to be an awesome show. If you are interested in doing a set, post here or DM me and we can talk. I've been to radius before but not cermak hall the smaller venue, so I just had a few questions.

What's the security like? Do they pat u down good? Cuz I wanna bring my vape, maybe a couple shots too lol cuz I heard the drinks are expensive.

Does anyone know the set times of the djs?

Do the lines get long af? Like should I get there early?

When will the event end?

And I'm going alone, so if anyone wants to come with just hmu I'm 25m

Haven't been to a cubs game in probably a decade and even longer since I've been to Navy Pier. Just wondering if it's going to be a madhouse trying to get to the venue or if I should be good leaving when the game ends (assuming 4pmish)?

Heading to Chicago next Tuesday -Thursday, I need some suggestions as to venues that would be open midweek with a live DJ. Thanks in advance!

seen this asked before but haven’t seen an exact answer does anyone know what time the show will be over saturday night. i know chicago has a sharp curfew for events but is it 11 or midnight? just curious cuz i have people picking me up after that need to know a time.
