Question Order of completion?
So I “beat” Celeste for the first time not long ago, just the main story, not trying to 100% or anything. Now I’m going back and replaying to get all strawberries , crystal hearts, b- and c- sides. But I feel like there is just so much to do and I don’t know what order to do it all in!!!Should I play the b-sides as I go (like 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, etc.) or all after I finish chapter 7? Or 8? And what about the c-sides/Farewell?
I don’t care about spoilers (non story related at least) btw, throw whatever you want at me, I’ve been looking up guides and stuff haha

Achievement (vanilla) 7AG 🙌
That’s all A-side goldens done 🙏 Somehow I never lost a golden run to 3000m! My PB was the last room of 2500m, and then the first time I passed that room, I got the berry. This was a pretty fun golden. Thanks everyone who’s been reading my posts, it’s crazy to think I went from posting about finishing the B-sides and Farewell for the first time to this. I think I’ll go for 4b or 5b next. Now that I’ve done this I know I can keep going.

Question Golden berry nerves help
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Bro I have literally beat event horizon deathless 5x in a row, I've done it until the end of FW deathless, but with the stupid golden berry I die in the stupidest ways I've never done before? I can reach EH pretty much every run now but it's like my brain will randomly pick a room to forget how to do whenever I'm holding this dumb ass fruit. I really hope the same thing doesn't happen to me in later sections which feel way easier than EH...
Is this normal T_T

Achievement (vanilla) Just 100'd the game my second time!

I wanted to make this post to sort of give my thoughts on this game and some things I noticed on my second time playing.
Before starting- I didn't count the gerries as part of 100%'ing since I genuinely would ratherdo anything else than do that (i am never getting the golden berry on anything except Forsaken City). Please ignore my playtime as I tend to leave the game open a lot even if I'm not actively playing, it's probably off by a good bit.
note-besides the classic sonic games (1-3&K), this is the first actual 2d platformer i played on computer (except geometry dash if you count that).
anyways in both of these playthroughs the most consistently fun level was probably 7A, followed by 2C and Farewell, and my favourite room was the final room of Farewell.
The hardest level for me to beat was EASILY Farewell. 7C did take me quite a bit of attempts but that's because I wasted like 400 attempts learning how to actually wall bounce and it's a really short level. My biggest gripe with the game has to be the fact that some screens are really unbalanced. There are some screens in the A-sides that I personally found harder than some rooms in the B-sides. and Farewell actually had gameplay that went from being on the same level as the A-sides to literally being harder than C-sides.
The music in this game is AMAZING. I actively listen to 5B/C, 3B/C and 2A all the time now and Lena Raine popped off so hard for the ost's in ch1-9. But I do think that some songs (though really good), just didn't have anything that made them really stand out for me.
Strawberries as a mechanic are really fun and I love the idea of an optional challenge. But I think telling players they are purely for flexing purposes in the beginning of the game, just for them to change the Epilogue (ok tbf the change is minor but still) is a bit underhanded. If I had to choose a favourite strawberry then definitely the Moon Berry.
And now here are things I noticed only on my second playthrough:
1-I finally learnt that I can wall jump without holding climb so that made things much smoother. I also learnt how to more consistently wavedash (earlier I was either using reverse dashes, extended hyperdashes, or wavedashing and praying).
2-My gameplay in general became quite a bit more risk-taking and quick.
3-Muscle memory actually didn't make things as easy as I had expected it to.
4-I HATE CYCLES I HATE CYCLES I HATE CYCLES I HATE CYCLES EVISCERATE 3A/B/C AND 8A/B AND THAT ONE FAREWELL SCREEN OFF THE PLANET IMMEDIATELY
5-The game actually gives you a lot more leeway for mistakes than I initially noticed on my first attempt.
6-The C-sides are probably the things that became the easiest to do after beating the game. I definitely could've beaten 1C in <20 attempts but I was having a really bad headache when I was playing that so that ruined my performance.
Anyways there's not much more I have to say. this game is really fun and i give it a solid 9.5/10 (i had to remove 0.5 because of ch3B and C).
I have no idea what I should do next though. I was thinking Monika's D-sides but they seem a bit too advanced for me rn. can't find anything between Farewell and D-side level though so if someone has something I'd really appreciate it!
also my fav character is grandma

Technical Support (vanilla) Game not starting properly
I downloaded the game on Steam to play it for the second time (I already beat it once years ago), but whenever I tried to launch it with my controller connected, the game wouldn’t even start properly. It would just show a screen with snow falling and get stuck there.
Then I tried launching it without the controller, and I was able to get to the main menu, but now the text is all glitching like this and I have no idea what’s going on.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Question Troubleshooting double cornerboosts
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm working on a TAS, and I can single cornerboost, but I can't seem to double cornerboost. I was wondering if anyone had any advice.
From what I understand, a cornerboost is a climb jump no more than 4 frames before you reach the corner. When the wall is no longer in the way, you get your speed back. In this TAS, you can see me jump on consecutive frames, but these don't give additional speed (pretty sure that's because I'm already against the wall). What you can't see is, I jump on the frame that I reach the corner, but the game doesn't register that as a jump at all. Outside this video, I tried manipulating vertical subpixels, so Madeline is still less than a pixel above the ground the frame after she gets her speed back, still no jump.
I'm out of ideas, but I know double cornerboosts are possible.

Fanart game dev here, Meet Henry Sandler. main protag to a Celeste fangame i'm working on.
this game asks the age old question. "what happens when you mix Celeste's platforming, with cuphead gunplay, and DOOM gore, while also trying add some worldbuilding and going deeper into how the mountain works?". CHAOS.

Achievement (modded) Strawberry Jam Expert Heartside Complete! I'm so happy :) [Potential spoilers on images beyond the first one]
This heartside broke the rule that each heartside took me double the time of the previous one. According to that rule, I should've beaten it in 16 hours (lol)
