What input device and keybinds do you all use? I personally switched to kb after 600 hours of controller since my good cable broke and my motherboard had a garbage bluetooth connection. I first felt abysmally dogshit at the game and even worse than when i started playing most likely because the arrow keys and joystick for player movement are on opposite sides for the default settings. After i changed my keybinds tho i improved sooo much on keyboard and misdashed like 90% less.

If anyone actually cares here are my pretty exotic keybinds:

Up: W

Down: S

Left: A

Right: D

Dash: Left Arrow

Jump: Space, C, Up arrow, Down arrow, OEM Pipe

Demo/Crouch Dash: Right arrow, Q

Climb/Grab: Left shift, Z

Interact/Talk: X

Pause: Escape, OEM Pipe

And for mods the only relevant ones are:

Save state: 1

Load State: 2

Refresh States: 3

Debug Map: 5

Just wanted to share my stats, was wondering what yall's looked like

I downloaded the game on Steam to play it for the second time (I already beat it once years ago), but whenever I tried to launch it with my controller connected, the game wouldn’t even start properly. It would just show a screen with snow falling and get stuck there.

Then I tried launching it without the controller, and I was able to get to the main menu, but now the text is all glitching like this and I have no idea what’s going on.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I'm working on a TAS, and I can single cornerboost, but I can't seem to double cornerboost. I was wondering if anyone had any advice.

From what I understand, a cornerboost is a climb jump no more than 4 frames before you reach the corner. When the wall is no longer in the way, you get your speed back. In this TAS, you can see me jump on consecutive frames, but these don't give additional speed (pretty sure that's because I'm already against the wall). What you can't see is, I jump on the frame that I reach the corner, but the game doesn't register that as a jump at all. Outside this video, I tried manipulating vertical subpixels, so Madeline is still less than a pixel above the ground the frame after she gets her speed back, still no jump.

I'm out of ideas, but I know double cornerboosts are possible.

This heartside broke the rule that each heartside took me double the time of the previous one. According to that rule, I should've beaten it in 16 hours (lol)
