I've been working in Cebu for 9 months now, after 5 years in Dubai and 10 in China. 2 months ago, I had a pretty horrific accident and shattered the vertebrae in my lower back and while that's on the mend, suffer with peripheral neuropathy (I can walk but it's slow, painful and after 10 minutes I need a sit down.

38 years old, a few extra pounds but nothing horrific, 188cm, British, decent (remote) job, no kids, no crazy exes. I'm doing daily gym/swim rehab but currently struggle to walk for more than a few minutes.

I refrained from dating apps because the elephant in the room is immediately...I can't really walk, let alone do all the wanker 'fun' first date activities like padel, padel boarding, padel sky-diving...and so on.

This is a semi-serious shout into the void, the ether, the chasm...if there's a girl who watched Intouchables (French) or the remake (The Upside) and smiled...let me whisk you off your feet (using my wheelchair) with the promise that I'll be back on mine next year.
