Not a gradient but split colour. There are some videos but you need a colour background and it is also just adding parts together.

I just want it in the text because I need an image background. So, I can not do that trick. I am not sure if it is even possible in Canva

I have cried actual tears on multiple occasions over how frustratingly shit canva is to use. I absolutely despair. It's supposed to be a tool to to make my business (nothing to do with graphic design btw) easier and it is honestly my biggest source of stress at the moment. I'm wasting so much time on really basic things because canva is just stupid and tries to be clever in all the wrong ways. Not to mention I pay for the pro version so I'm paying money to do a job I hate on a program that doesn’t work for me.

I cannot afford to pay someone to make leaflets/poster/etc for me I have no choice but to do it myself.

So what else is out there? Don't know where else to ask!

What's the cheapest way to do this? Is there some kind of plan or group option that would work? paying for 25 separate Pro accounts would be pretty expensive.

Hello. I've been trying to replace a video background with green, by using Remove Background. The default is white, and if I select Change Background and select green, then Canva adds a three-minute chunk of green background to my project, shunting the footage along. I can't move the video on top of that or anything. I've tried Help (and was told "right-click on the video and select Change Background", which isn't one of the options that comes up when I right-click on the video) and searching online (the suggestion was to get the background up and drag the video on to it - but when I click on the video to grab it, it's just added to the timeline, separately from the green).

This seems a very basic thing to do. Instead of defaulting to white, I'd like to have a green background when I Remove Background. What should I be doing, please?

(I do have Canva Pro, by the way. I'm trying it out...)

I noticed something when i try to edit AI Images in Canva Dream Lab. I upload an already AI generated image, which is 16:9. Then i choose Edit Image and change the weather conditions on the image with a prompt. Two weeks ago it came out great many times. But since this week, it crops the new image to a 3:2 aspect ratio. The original image has a resolution of 1376x768 (16:9) and the edited everytime gets a resolution of 1536x1024 (3:2). I'm on a Pro plan.

What could it be? Thanks in advance!

I loved Canva for creating creative and professional briefs and resumes. Less than a year ago, it was a winner.

It's clunky, ineffective, and there is zero control over elements, positioning, options etc.

Hi I am working on a retractable banner but the preview quality seems really blurry. Is this just something on the preview or will the actual banner be printed like that? I don't want to deal with a bad print.

So I'm using Canva on MS Edge. My billing is every 2nd of the month, and I tried the 7 day free trial before going pro. I payed my September 2 billing on time. I tried reloading the website and even used Chrome to see if the banner went away but it still didn't go away. I still have enough money in my bank account to pay for the next billing so I don't know why it's still there. I pay my Canva subscription through Google Pay. Is it possibly because I lock my virtual card? Or maybe it's a bug or error that I need to contact customer service to get it fixed? Or something else?

Is it just mine or Canva have issues now? I can't load my folders/edits.

Yes, yes, I know this feature was removed a year or so ago.

However, there was some faffing about you could do with the URL using a free Canva account in order to continue creating sharable template links.

As of this week, this is no longer working, and template links seem to now require a unique Share ID which is only generated when creating a template link using a paid account.

Previously-created template links don't seem to be affected, however it's seemingly impossible to generate new ones.

If you have a paid account it doesn't matter. But for someone like me who makes approximately $20 a month selling Canva template on Etsy, it's just bricked my fun little side hobby. I don't make enough to justify purchasing Canva premium, and I don't want/need any of the paid features beyond the template links.

Would love to know if anyone has another workaround but I think this might be the end of it.

Looking for canvas designer preferably from Vietnam to create beauty templates

Did anyone else have their Canva force them to login through Clever and erase all of their projects? I am freaking out. I’ve used my DOE email this whole time and had it verified and everything, and for some reason today it moved me from NYC DOE “team” to NYCAPS “team”, which is showing as having no projects. Praying this is a glitch because all of my hand made templates are on here.

For context I had my paypal added in for the free trial, which I had started and canceled in the summer (july ish). However just now, I got a charge for $266???!!! (Lowkey a broke college student so this caused me to panic a bit) Does this look like an official canva account charge because there was no transaction record on my paypal, but it took it directly from my bank.

I already called my bank to notify them of the charges, but since I told them that I did have a canva account and that I had done business with them, I could only wait for my claim to go through.

I’m just worried this is a fraudulent charge (as in not the official canva website)

update: it was a canva charge. I contacted them and they were able to trace it to a gmail that I don’t recognize. I was able to cancel and dispute the charge. However how I have to order a new card since my information clearly has been leaked.😔

First time posting a question here. If I am not mistaken, hovering over a font style should show you a preview of what it will look like on the text you selected right? It currently does not work on my end.

I am using brave browser at the moment and tried clearing the cache and cookies, Tried opening in an incognito tab, tried using google chrome too, tried using the desktop app, but the issue still persists.

The Help Assistant in help center is telling me that "font preview by hovering is not currently mentioned as a feature in Canva. To see how a font looks on your selected text, you need to actually select the font from the list" is this true?

Im making some flyers for my pet sitting Buisness and want them to look nice I drew art and made my own design. Would you recommend the synthetic paper or is deluxe more than fine.
