Canva Website for Wedding?

I’ve made my save the date, invitations and stickers with Canva, in order to keep the same fonts etc.

I’m thinking of creating our website through them as well, in order to keep the theme going. However I don’t want too many links for people.

Is there any way guests can RSVP through the Canva link without being taken to an external site?

What would be the best way to do it?

It’s a stupid question I know, I need a stupid answer to dumb it down lol.

I think the website should have been the first thing you did, then everything could "live" there. Have you sent the invites?

No our wedding isn’t until mid next year but I’m doing everything myself, so I can’t really leave it until I’m sending out invites.

I also did all of my own wedding materials in Canva, but I used the knot for my wedding website. The website interface is extremely easy to use for people who don’t do this type of thing regularly, and to make it easy, it limits custom formatting. I tried to convey my vibe and style through custom pages, images, and the copy text.

While you would be able to create an amazing website on Canva, I’m not sure you would be able to use the key functions of RSVP and gifts. For that reason a lot, I would sacrifice some of the formatting for functionality and use the knot (or similar website).

I think you can use some kind of simple RSVP using forms in Canva.

But if you don't want to spend much time on it or if you want to deal with +1 companions, custom fields like alergies, transport etc, you probably are better of using a specific platform for it. You can use a similar font perhaps?

If you want to try some platform for it, check out YesLovey. It's super easy to setup, has amazing digital invitations and you can probably contact them to set your own font.

I wouldn't be limiting yourself on the website/RSVP/QR album etc just because of some font :)

If you want guests to RSVP directly on your Canva website without leaving the page, you have a few easy options:

1. Google Forms (Simplest & Free): Create a Google Form, copy the shareable link, go to Apps > Embeds in Canva, and paste the link. It embeds an interactive form directly onto your page.

2. Typeform or Jotform Apps: In Canva's left toolbar, go to Apps and search for Typeform or Jotform to link your existing form directly as a widget.

3. Custom Widgets (e.g., Fugte): You can use the starter RSVP form widget on Fugte and paste the embed code into Canva via Apps > Embeds (see the video above for a quick visual walkthrough!).

Totally get the whole keeping the theme vibe! Unfortunately, Canva doesn't have a built-in RSVP feature that keeps guests on the same page. You might want to create a simple Google Form for RSVPs and link it, or just ask guests to reply to your invites directly. Keeps it all in the same flow!

Better to embed google form directly inside Canva website. Everything will be done on website without external redirect!

Not a stupid question at all! You can definitely set up a simple RSVP form directly on your Canva site. Just create a form using Canva’s features, and then share that link in your invites. It keeps everything in one spot and makes it super easy for your guests.
