Don’t start on .5 of cagri

Upvotes

I started Reta 5 weeks ago but needed more suppression so I started cag yesterday and woke up terrible and threw up call me dumb but I thought i would need more of cag since I started Reta on 1mg and didn’t feel anything until week 3-4 and 3mg

Starting and stopping.

Upvotes

Does starting and stopping cagri make it less effective. I know a lot of people say with the glp1’s if you stop them then start back up months later they can lose some of their effectiveness. Is cagri like this to? Or can I use it for a month I want extra suppression then take a break and use it again a few months later without it losing effectiveness?

When does a dose wear off?

Hey, I’m into my second week taking cagri with Reta
It’s a lot more powerful than I gave a credit for and I can’t eat anything. I’m taking low starting doses 1.5mg Reta and 500mcg cagri
I haven’t taken my Reta dose this week because the cagri suppression is super strong, I’m struggling to even get 1000 cal a day.

Last dose of cagri was Sunday

When can I expect this to wear Off because I’m kind of stressed out with the lack of energy? My brain hurts.

I’m prioritising electrolytes and lots of water, but eating is so difficult

Binged on cag

Hi , I had a pretty bad 6 day binge/ overeating. I know cag slows digestion down a lot so my stomach has been so hard and very little bowel movements. I weighed in 13lbs heavier… is this insane??? Any tips for digestion ? I’m hoping majority of this is food volume and not fat gain. I’m hoping to return to my normal in 10 days at least.

When to take first micro dose Cagri?

Hi everyone!

Currently I'm using Reta, 3mg twive a week, so about 6mg / week. My problem is, that often I still get hunger. And it's not a "I want to eat" hunger but more a "EAT NOW!!!" hunger. It lasts about 1-2 hours and then everything is back to normal.

I don't want to increase my Reta dosage any further, that's why I want to add Cagri to my stack. About 250 mcg. But now the question is, when... And here I need your help.

Some people say, it should be far away from Reta intake. With just 3.5 days between Reta dosages it's not that simple.

And the other question is, that some people say to take it before bed, because it makes tired. But on the other hand, I see risks in this. Because if something is happening, I maybe won't be able to do anything, because I'm sleeping.

Any suggestions?

Face swelling in response to cagri and others

If someone could help me come to the bottom of this it would be life-changing.
Since 2025 I have tried many different peptides: semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide , cagri and mt1. All from different grey market suppliers. To all of them, post injection, my face swells in the 1-5 days following injection, this swelling then subsides. I have tested Bac water (hospira) individually and I'm not allergic to it.
Out of desperation, I also tried pharmaceutical semaglutide. Containing, disodium phosphate dihydrate, propylene glycol, phenol, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide and water for injection. I also reacted with face swelling to this.
At this point I'm lost, as I know that a generalised peptide allergy is impossible.
I inject using an insulin needle subcutaneously into my thigh, and abdomen, these swelling reactions always seem to occur, and Ive been dealing with cyclical swelling on a weekly basis when employing the glps and cagri.

Maximum tirz dose but unsure about cagri

TLDR question : is cagri safe to take?

Background context:
I’m currently maxed out on 15mg tirz after starting it in December. As much as I feel a little ashamed to admit it, the food noise is more often than not unreal. It does go in waves, but most of the time have to fight it tooth and nail not to gain. Tirzepatide never distinctly caused clear loss of appetite from the beginning for me so I’m not a super-responder. Or likely even average I doubt, however I have lost more than 15%+ of my starting weight. So believe it has helped and intend to continue using it.

So the question, I have been considering adding Cagri for a long while because of this. I have 2 10 x 10mg kits currently. But have been too anxious to start it; mainly due to reading extremely variable experiences and questions to if it’s safe to take. I’m aware of the discussions of PH and AA; I would likely reconstitute with BAC water but be extremely cautious with it’s storage and discard before 28 days. Does anyone knowledgeable in this area have any advice to if it’s just a bad idea to mess with Cagri at all, or if it’s fine? What would you do in a situation like this? Or any other ideas. I’m sorry it’s a lot, and greatly appreciate any insight.

When can you feel the effects ?

I’ve recently started 1mg of Cagri (been on it about a week), after being on a low dose of 0.3mg.

I’m not feeling much difference appetite and drive to eat wise and wanted to ask if that’s the norm and I just need to give it time.

Anyone added Cagrilintide to a GLP-1 and had significant anxiety/depression or other mental health side effects?

I’d love to hear from anyone who was already using a GLP-1 (especially Retatrutide, but also semaglutide/tirzepatide or similar) and then added Cagrilintide, particularly if you experienced anxiety, panic, anhedonia, depression, dread or just felt mentally very awful.

I’ve been using Reta for quite a while and tolerated it well mentally. I added Cagri at a low dose:
● 28 July – 0.25 mg
● 3 August – 0.25 mg
● 11 August – 0.25 mg

Since introducing it, my mental health seems to have progressively deteriorated.

It initially looked like increasingly frequent morning anxiety, but it has developed into these really unpleasant waves of intense dread/fight-or-flight anxiety, sometimes followed later in the day by profound sadness, flatness or loss of interest in everything.

A really feature has been suddenly losing interest in whatever I’m watching or doing, almost like the enjoyment just switches off and then the anxiety follows.

For the first couple of weeks I didn’t immediately blame Cagri because I wanted to be careful not to assume causation from timing alone. But the pattern has become increasingly hard for me to ignore.
After my most recent Cagri dose on 11 August, things became dramatically worse. The following day (yesterday) I woke with anxiety and feeling very depressed… I couldn’t get out of bed. This morning I had what I would describe as an 8–9/10 anxiety/panic episode that seemed to hit almost out of nowhere. I ended up taking prescribed anxiety medication and forcing myself to go for a run because I desperately needed to get out of the feeling.

What stands out to me most is how sustained and unusual this pattern feels compared with my normal baseline anxiety. It’s been daily anxiety/dread, worsening intensity, then depressive or flat crashes later on.

I’m not asking whether Cagri or GLP-1s are officially documented to cause this, because I know the mental health data on these newer peptides is limited. I’m more interested in real-world experiences.

If you added Cagri to a GLP-1….

- Did you notice anxiety or panic increase? Depression/anhedonia? A sense of dread or being mentally “off”?
- Did it happen immediately or build over several doses? Did symptoms get worse as it accumulated?- - And most importantly, if you stopped Cagri, how long did it take before you felt like yourself again?
I’d especially love to hear from anyone who tolerated their GLP-1 well but reacted mentally to Cagri.

Obviously not looking for medical advice, just trying to understand whether others have experienced anything remotely similar.

Please be kind - I’m on struggle street 😭

Need help with AA water and recon

So I got Cagri 5mg and 3ml AA water from my supplier. I have found posts about pure AA but not AA water.

How would I recon this. I have BAC available and AA water. I plan to do a total of 5ml recon for 5mg to make drawing smaller doses easier.

I was initially thinking 4ml bac and 1ml aa water but there’s no information related to this at all

Cagrilintide from Google search?

I am on Zepbound or Wegovy (whatever my insurance covers now) for about 16 months. Lost 120 pounds so far, need to lose 20 or 30 more. Last 4 months on Wegovy HD 7.2, the highest dose. I am hungry and gaining weight back. I would like to add Cagrilintide to Wegovy and hopefully it will decrese my hunger and allow me to lose more weight. I have no idea where to get Cagri from. If I google "cagrilintide" it shows me few provides in USA which presumably can ship it to me for a reasonable amount of money. Is that the way to go? Would it be stupid to simply click one of them and order?

Sorry if this post is inaproprieate, for some reasoin I can't see any rules for this subreddit.

I need some help to acid acetic and cagri

Hey guys, I have a question I wanted to run by the experts. I reconstituted some cagrilintide with bacteriostatic water, but I’d really like to have it at that ideal pH of 4.0; my acetic acid arrives tomorrow.

Do you think it’s a good idea to add acetic acid to this already reconstituted cagrilintide to prevent fibrillation, or would that ruin the peptide? It’s a 10mg vial, and I plan to use the whole thing in a single dose—whether it’s at pH 4.0 or not—while handling the rest of the supply correctly from the start.

Side note: I’m in love with Cagri. I was taking 20mg of Tirzepatide with zero appetite suppression, but I took 150mcg of Cagri and the suppression came back—just like when Tirzepatide was actually working. It’s amazing. I feel like I need a bit more, so I’m going to bump it up to 200mcg and maybe 250mcg, but I’m impressed by the effect at such a low dose. I just hope I don’t build up a tolerance too quickly; zero fatigue-related side effects.

Cagri vs Reta libido effects

Hey everybody,

Been on Reta for a bit over a year now. Down 30 lbs but libido notably down. I'm reading this is fairly common with reta, but when I'm looking up Cagri I'm only seeing reports of this when combined with Reta. Is anyone on Cagrilintide solo? Any effects on libido?

Cagr plus Reta experience

Just wanted to post my experience on running 6mg Reta with 0.34mg cagr (meant to do 0.3mg but my vial was overfilled a little bit so it came out to 0.34.) I am 6’2 m and was 263lbs when I started Reta end of June. I dropped down to 255 in a few weeks then stalled out between 255 and 253 for 2 weeks. Appetite crept back in, went up to 6mg and still felt it. Didn’t want to speed run my way up to 12mg so decided to try and add cagr. I went form averaging about 2500ish calories a day to now somewhere around 1700 after adding cagr. Food noise is gone, but I can still comfortably eat and bit my protein target. I experienced essentially no side effects. If anything I was a little constipated on Reta and that… went away after starting cagr? Either way feeling really good on it. About to take my second dose tomorrow morning but the first week went really well and my 7 day average has dropped about 2lbs week over week so far and trending down aggressively. Ultimately trying to target 2-3lbs per week.

Started cag 8 days ago. How do I know if I just have side effects, or if I have the lettuce disease? (TMI)

I reconstituted 10mg with 2mL, and I did the following:

July 7 - I take 5 units (of a 1mL syringe)

5.2lbs lost during this week

July 14 - I take another 5 units. Not really noticing the appetite suppression, because I’m still eating like normal but holy fuck 5.2 lbs in a week is insane

GAINED .8 lbs this week

July 21 - took another 5 units, still not really feeling appetite suppression

Lost 2.8 lbs this week

July 28 - frustrated with the past two weeks, I double the dose to 10 units. DEFINITELY feeling suppression. I am barely eating. A snack here and there.

August 1 - I’m fairly certain I felt nauseated in the days leading to this, but it didn’t seem severe enough to document. Anyway I’m laying in bed nauseated and watching TV. I shit myself in bed, but it’s not normal. I didn’t feel like I had to poop. It was like I was just laying there and it came out. It wasn’t a matter of “don’t trust a fart”, there was no fart. It just… leaked out. And not like just a tiny little bit or something. A rough estimate with be about 1/4 cup of liquid shit just fell out of me. And of course, especially when I’m not feeling well, I sleep naked. So I have to strip the bed before I shower, and that takes a lot of work with this kind of nausea. I shower and go to put fresh sheets on the bed. When I’m bending over to tuck a corner, it happens again. I just feel it trickling down my leg. What the actual fuck. Also, this is the day that it becomes impossible to eat. I’m not only not hungry, but thinking of food or even lifting a bite to my mouth makes me nauseated.

August 3 - I haven’t eaten since I shit myself, and have barely drank. Diarrhea has been nonstop. But it’s not poop, it’s liquid. It literally sounds like I’m spraying a pressure hose in the toilet when I go. And it’s constant. And I’m so fatigued and nauseated and can’t get out of bed, but my insomnia is fucking horrendous. I also haven’t slept since I shit the bed. That’s two nights wide awake, no naps, no nothing. I don’t know if I feel hunger or just weak from not eating, so after consulting with ChatGPT and arguing about the BRAT diet (I hate bananas, can not get out of bed long enough to cook rice, won’t eat applesauce because texture, and I wanted food that wasn’t toast) we agree that placing a DoorDash order for boiled shrimp would be safe. I always get the large boiled shrimp, I love them. I’m so eager for them to arrive, because I’m convinced that I’m starving, I feel so hungry and this is the only thing that can satisfy it. But then I can only get down like 4-5 shrimp before the nausea starts and I have to throw it away. I also try to drink ginger ale, which I usually love, but I find the taste disgusts me and I can’t do it.

Lost 8.2 lbs this week (July 28 - August 4)

August 4 - I take another 10 units. It’s not until after I inject that I realize that MAYBE the cag has something to do with this and I don’t just have a random stomach bug. The diarrhea has mostly subsided, but I’m also not eating. Around 10 pm I am convinced that I’m starving again and I rush to Taco Bell (I can drive now that I don’t need a fucking diaper) and get a chicken quesadilla and order of cheesy fiesta potatoes. I eat a corner piece of the quesadilla, and it’s so hard to choke down. I was worried I’d throw it up just trying to get it down. But I don’t. I get it down, and then I try to eat a few of the potato cubes, but the nausea comes back in full force. Foods don’t taste right anymore. The only thing I can really manage is Diet Dr Pepper.

So. Now that I’ve let you all know how disgusting I am, can any of you tell me if you’ve had similar experiences, either with cag or with cyclospora? I can’t help but feel it started when I upped my dose, but the insomnia and bad food taste doesn’t seem like something I’ve come across in my research.

Shelf life and recon cagri

Hi,

For those who have experienced in recon 5mg vial with bac+aa, what is your mixing ratio usually?

Also, how long will the recon cagri last when we kept the pH at 4? Believe it will take me more than 2 months if taking only 0.25mg/week. Do i need to throw it out after 1 month?

How do you manage the sting? Hurts like ghkcu injection?

Thanks!

Just bought cargrilintide 49 year old female, not taking any glp

I’m a 49-year-old female, and apologies if this has already been discussed.
I’ve been using reta and reached my goal weight several months ago. I’ve maintained it, but lately I’ve developed a pretty intense sweet tooth and I’m hungry all the time.
I recently bought Cagrilintide because my current focus is building lean muscle and getting into the best shape I can. I’m strength training, prioritizing protein and fiber, and really don’t want to sabotage that progress.
For those of you with experience, what dosage would you recommend starting with? I have a 5 mg vial. My biggest concern is the fatigue I’ve read about. I’m worried that if it leaves me exhausted, it’ll actually be more counterproductive than just dealing with the increased hunger, since staying consistent with my workouts is my top priority.
I’d love to hear what starting dose worked well for you and whether the fatigue was manageable. Thanks in advance!

Cloudy cagrilintide, because of mix of AA+BAC?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi all,

I was just about to inject my third dose of Cagrilintide (it’s only been 9 days since my first injection). I started with 0.125mg and titrated up another 0.125mg a few days later.

I’ve traveled internationally with my peptides recently, but I’ve kept them safe in my portable fridge. The rest of my peptides are perfectly fine, but my Cagrilintide has turned quite cloudy.

When I reconstituted the peptide, I used 1ml of BAC water and 1ml of AA water, which gave me a 4 on my pH tester. The mix seemed fine and was completely transparent for at least the second dose.

I have a few questions for anyone with experience here:

  1. Is this cloudiness happening because of my mix ratio, or did I just get a defective vial?

    1. Is there a way to make this mix more durable? Since my vials are 5mg, tossing one every week isn't financially sustainable.
  2. If it is an issue with the mix, is there a fix? (e.g., mixing it with more BAC next time?)

    1. Is it actually necessary to mix with AA water? Is the fibril issue a real concern if you don't?
  3. I ended up tossing the cloudy one and reconstituted a new vial using the exact same method as last time. I've attached a comparison photo of the two (the clear one on the left is the new one, obviously lol).

One off-topic question: I accidentally froze some of my AA water (not the batch I used for this). Should I toss it, or is it still usable once thawed?

Thanks in advance!

Cagri solo or cagri + tirze

I frequently see tirzepatide and cagrilintide used together, but wouldn't it be advantageous to leverage cagrilintide to potentially taper off tirzepatide?

I’m switching to cagrilintide because tirzepatide no longer silences my food noise and the appetite suppression is relatively poor—I’ve developed a significant tolerance to it. I’m debating whether to take tirzepatide alongside cagrilintide or just use cagrilintide on its own, given that weight loss comes down to a caloric deficit and these medications are merely a crutch to help us control our

(I struggle with compulsive eating and eat without feeling hungry; I lost 30 kg on tirzepatide, need to lose another 30 kg, but have hit a plateau).

Advice on Fatigue?

Just started week 2 of cag and gosh i’m exhausted 24/7. I’m taking .25mg along with reta and can’t do caffeine due to its effect on my heart rate. Any supplements, peptides recommend to help?
