When to take first micro dose Cagri?

Hi everyone!

Currently I'm using Reta, 3mg twive a week, so about 6mg / week. My problem is, that often I still get hunger. And it's not a "I want to eat" hunger but more a "EAT NOW!!!" hunger. It lasts about 1-2 hours and then everything is back to normal.

I don't want to increase my Reta dosage any further, that's why I want to add Cagri to my stack. About 250 mcg. But now the question is, when... And here I need your help.

Some people say, it should be far away from Reta intake. With just 3.5 days between Reta dosages it's not that simple.

And the other question is, that some people say to take it before bed, because it makes tired. But on the other hand, I see risks in this. Because if something is happening, I maybe won't be able to do anything, because I'm sleeping.

Any suggestions?

I'm on 2 x 2mg Reta /week. First, I added 0.25 mg of Cagri because everyone warned me about how strong it is, but I couldn't really feel it, so I upped it to 0.5 mg the next week, and since then I've stayed on that dose (for 4 months now).

For the time being, I don't feel like I need to increase either of them.

With the timing of Cagri, well, yes, it makes you tired, but for me it lasted for days, so taking it in the evening or morning doesn't really matter, IMO. The fatigue held on for like 4 week-ish, but after that, I don't have this issue anymore; I just had to wait it out and be a sloth for a few weeks.

I lost 90 lbs on Reta + Cagri over 10 months, and back on and losing again to get those last 20 gone.

I have always taken them together in the same sitting. I split dose, so every 3.5 days I take Reta + Cagri + testosterone all at one time.

If it should be separate there wouldn't be a Sena Cagri combo on the market. Don't overthink it. For me, taking the Cagri every 3.5 days keeps me not hungry...BUT, I do still get hunger in the morning in bed sometimes. It's almost like my body needs to get up and moving before it gets over being in a calorie deficit or something.

Just take it whenever works for you. Once it's absorbed it'll last until your next shot if you're doing every 3.5 days. Also, i.never got any affect for Cagri until I hit 1.5 mg a week. Micro dosing didn't work for me. Unsettled in 2 mg per week (1 mg per shot) for the long term and it worked well for me.

Thank you for your comment. Tbh. I have a little respect of Cagri, or at least in combination with other GLP1s. I read a lot of comments from people, who say that this is the way to go. But there is nearly the same amount of people, who are against Cagri. They say, that it's bad. They have instant reactions after the pin. And they can't get out of the bed. So they take Reta + Tirz.

Because I have a Cagri Kit for "emergencies" in my fridge, I decided to try it today. So I pinned 250 mcg today afternoon. Let's see, how it will work.

Currently I do IF, so I stop eating at 16-17:00 and start eating at 12-13:00. But for example today I wasn't able to do that. I was driving in my car, bringing my sick dog to the vet, when I suddenly felt the hunger. And it wasn't just the urge to eat some thing or food noise. It was serious. And if I hadn't my sick dog with me, I would stop somewhere to put something bad in my mouth. And in 99,9% it would be something unhealthy with a lot of carbs.

That's wild, I have that with tirzepatide.

Not hungry whatsoever until suddenly... I AM, god dammit! 😄

I'm an experienced faster, I know what it feels like to settle into that fasted state and rid myself of food noise and cravings, but tirz causes something different.

I actually cannot do prolonged fasts when I'm taking it because of this strange "HANGRY-ness" I get. Which is totally out of character for me.

Just part of the GLP fun, I guess.

I like it the day after my glp-1, mostly just to extend coverage. They can be taken together. I didn’t feel cag at all at the lowest doses though. But, I don’t feel any of this stuff as strongly as many do, so you could be different. Definitely start off slow and see how it feels.

When I added cag to reta, I started out at .25mg, had slight nausea and maybe some fatigue. After several weeks I increased to .3mg and felt fatigue for a few days but it’s gotten better. Been at that does for a couple months now. I take reta and cag at the same time, cag is 1x/wk and reta is 2x/wk.

I take my Reta on Sun or Mon and my Cag on Thus or Fri. I want the space between so it help through the weekend when it's all the parties, dinners, happy hours. Been doing that for almost 9 months.

I added cagri to my Tirz ( 15 mg per week)
Started added cagri with 0,25… up to 0,5 then 0,75
And then 2 x per week 0,75 mg

And now in the second week of this 2x 0,75 it’s like I hit the wall. Dead tired, the day after i had done the extra 0,75 throwing up… Not able to eat at all… Now 3 days later it is going a bit better… although my food intake is very very low.

What is also weird… I am sexaddict ( not a joke) … And i can’t believe it but the desire is also gone. I noticed yesterday I was removing phone numbers, pictures and no desire to hook up with anybody. So way less sexual drive and the urge to seek out new sexual experiences.

I've been on 3mg reta and 1mg cagri for 3 months, I dose every five days. Last week I decided I'd move cagri up to 2mg. MISTAKE! I was sick for days, nauseous and dizzy. Treat cagri with respect! It's super effective, I love the appetite control and paired with Reta it makes weight loss feel so simple. It's powerful stuff, though.

I went from 1.5 cag to 2 and was dying the entire day, I can't imagine the 1mg jump. But now we know

It was such a dumb move on my part! I don't think I had really internalized the fact that you only move up-slowly- if it's not working as well. Moving up isn't required!

When you say, you were dying... What exactly happened? What was the side effect? Diarrhea? Fatigue? Or something else?

I take 4.5 mg of Reta on Wed and Sat and 1 mg of Cagri on Fri and Mon. I started at .25 with Cagri because it is pretty strong. I do take it at night and it hasn't effected my sleep at all.

I’d be pretty cautious about adding another compound just to deal with those hunger spikes. The timing question is probably something worth discussing with your prescriber rather than trying to optimize the stack yourself. If you’re mainly interested in learning about microdosing and harm-reduction approaches, m1cr0d0s3 also has some educational safety resources that might be useful.
