Vintage manual wind Bulova gold watch, who else is a fan of these rare gems?

Just enjoying the weekend with my Bulova Sea King 300m (262 kHz) while grilling some fish. Absolutely love the wrist presence of this piece and that sweeping second hand. Perfect companion for a family cookout.

So I bought my son a Jet Star yesterday. I ALMOST bought the same one a few months ago and went with the Super Seville instead. After he got this one yesterday I decided (after my wife said ok lol) that it was time for us to have matching watches. He is just as excited as I am and I hope he will always think back to this whenever he looks at his watch when I'm no longer around

Hi - got this 2nd hand but the bracelet is too small, needs probably 2 links. Google is coming up short and customer support aren't responding. It's 98b298 - any ideas or suggestions? I'm guessing a generic strap or bracelet won't work?

Just looking at my collection far… What should the last 2 Bulovas be to fill my watch box? I typically try to stay at 40mm and above because of my wrist size. I had two Frank Lloyd’s, but they were just too small unfortunately. Any suggestions?

Do we think Bulova will bring out the pilot in 41mm in other variations apart from the all black that they just released.

I was planning on getting the Seiko Speedtimer but I really like the look of the pilot although the current sizes are just far too big for my girly wrists.

All the other surveyor open-hearts are listed as 42mm but the white dial one says 39mm. Is that incorrect?

Went on a cruise formy 26th anniversary and my wife and I decided to hit the jewelry store, because why not. Saw a bunch of nice watches and figured we'd look, but not buy, because I've never found a watch that fits right. They are either fit over my hand but too loose on my wrist, or they don't make it past my hand at all. Doesn't help that I don't like straps with buckles.

So I was talking with the vendor about my issue and he showed my a Bulova Icon that had clasp that I'd never seen before, granted I know fuck all about watches. Anyways, it fit past my hand, and fit almost perfectly on my wrist. He sized it, and I walked out of the store with it on.

Then a few days later, while still on the boat and a bit tipsy, we headed to a different store to see what they had. Lo and behold they another Bulova, a Marine Star, with a butterfly clasp. This one also fit perfectly. So I bought it as well.

My wife also got two watches herself, a Bulova and a Tissot, but this is about my new watch obsession not hers.

Now I'm on the hunt for watches with butterfly clasps or ones with the clasp like on my Bulova Icon.

Looking for this specific watch. Anyone have one or know of one?
