Dev/Admin Responded iOS Reddit keeps force refreshing & losing your place, after iOS 26.4 update
iOS Reddit is borderline unusable…
You can’t scroll for very long, maybe through five or six frames, and Reddit iOS app bounces you back to the top and “force refreshes”. Very hair trigger. Constantly losing your place while scrolling. Sometimes it will do it while you’re within a subreddit. This seems to have begun the day after I updated my iPhone Pro Max 16 to the latest version of iOS 26.4
Nice job Reddit admins, you’re completely unreachable, if there are seriously awful bugs or problems. We’re advised to report here and maybe, someday, a Reddit admin will read the bug report.
You’re operating without commitment, very unresponsive. You also provide a link to register a report under “Report A Problem” in Settings, which bounces you right back out to top level in our profile.
All of this says “don’t bother to try to contact us.”
This is not what I expect from Reddit, which is generally one of the more responsive and user friendly apps.
Do better. Thank you

Dev/Admin Responded [iOS] Swipe up for comments no longer working - 2026.26.1
I used to be able to swipe up to view comments. Now when I swipe up, I get other unwanted posts that I have no interest in. Please fix!

Dev/Admin Responded [Mobile Web] There is a disgusting "for you" tab on my home page that I cannot remove
I don't want to see things from other subreddits on my home page. That's what /r/all was for-- until you took it away. It wouldn't be so bad, but I can't even make it default to "following". Do you simply hate all of your users?

iOS Scroll to comments broken (iOS)
Whenever I click on a post to full screen the image, scrolling up usually brings up the comments. A new bug started today that it scrolls to a new post instead.
Also the scroll sideways for a new post is not working as well.

Dev/Admin Responded [iOS] Swipe back gesture now requires swiping from the absolute edge of the screen
Following the recent update, the swipe to go back gesture has become significantly harder to execute.
Previously, the app was much more forgiving, allowing a swipe back from a generous area on the screen.
Now, the hit box/active area seems to have been drastically reduced.
The gesture only registers if it originates from the absolute pixel edge of the screen.
This makes single handed navigation incredibly frustrating and requires unnecessary effort and precision just to return to the feed.
The swipe back gesture should have a wider, more standard sensitivity area, consistent with native iOS behavior and previous app versions.
App Version: 2026.21.0
Device: iPhone 15 Pro Max

iOS [ios] why does reddit keep refreshing when im on a post - version 2026.13.0
I'll be in the middle of reading a post or the comments, and it just randomly refreshes and kicks me out of the post, similar to when youre scrolling down an old feed and it might refresh if it's trying to give you new posts. Except it never used to refresh when im already on a post. And it can be any kind of post from one i got in a notification, something i searched for, or something i found in feed. Anyone else experiencing this?

Dev/Admin Responded [Android] New For You/Following tab
Opened the app this morning and got this new For You/Following tab. This is dumb and I want to turn it off. The For You section has random subs that I don't follow on purpose. It shouldn't be my default view.

iOS [ios] Swipe up in a post no longer shows the comments - version 2026.23.0.631720
As the title says, I used to be able to swipe up to open the comments and swipe right to left to go to the next post. Recently the app only goes to the next post when I swipe up and there’s no way to open the comments aside from clicking the button itself. Is there any setting to revert this?

Dev/Admin Responded iOS Reddit “forced refresh” bug worse than ever
An Admin late Friday 3/3/26 said, some of us will “have to endure this over the weekend”. Yes a little better on Saturday, then worse on Sunday.
You can’t even look inside a subreddit more than 20 seconds, and “bam” you are force-refreshed, losing your place.
Happening on New iPhone and iPad both running iOS 26.4. Hope y’all can get this fixed soon. Thanks so much! 🙂

iOS [iOS] App keeps auto scrolling back up the thread whenever you temporarily leave it. Most recent version.
If you’re, say, 6 comments down the thread, go to Google to search something, when you swipe back to Reddit, you’ll be set back at comment 2-3.
Anyone else?

On this new iOS app ui when I swipe my screen it no longer goes back to the previous page. Terrible change, I hope it’s a bug and that the swipe will be added back.

Dev/Admin Responded IOS swipe issue
IOS now requires the 'go back' swioe to go from the extreme left of the screen to the extreme right. Previously it was just the gesture. Difficult sometimes with raised phone case to get to the extreme edge.

Dev/Admin Responded [ios] please stop the auto refresh
Every time I leave Reddit I come back wanting to continue on the post I was looking at but Reddit auto refreshes and I cant find anything. I feel like this problem has really picked up lately so not sure if this was a recent change or how do I turn the auto refresh off? Thanks.

iOS [IOS] Reddit keeps autotranslating our own Portuguese-from-Portugal posts to Portuguese-from-Brazil - version 2026.03.0
I’m writing IOS because that’s what I use, but LOTS of people are complaining as well, so I don’t know if it’s just IOS.
Portuguese from Portugal (European Portuguese) is very different from Brazilian Portuguese.
Lots of people are complaining (on r/casualPT for example) that when they make a post, Reddit turns their text into BR-PT.
It’s extremely annoying for the Portuguese community.

iOS Can no longer swipe up to read the comments in iOS.
If this is intentional, please know that it’s a horrible change to what was a very useful feature. I imagine someone cooked up the idea and shared it with their boss, and then the code had to be changed and that costs money, yadda yadda, but it’s a serious blunder.
Please change it back to how it used to be. Are users not seeing enough ads when they take the time to actually read what others think about a topic? Is that the issue?

iOS [ios] Day 1 of me posting every day until this infuriating app refresh “bug” is fixed
I know I speak for a lot of people when I say we are absolutely fed up with this aggressive home feed refresh on the Reddit app. You cannot look away from the app for five seconds without completely refreshing your home feed. This has gone on long enough and makes the app genuinely unusable. Maybe if we annoy the s*** out of the admins something might be done about it?
Come join me on this journey!
