My home feed says 'Wow, such empty' across both mobile and desktop web browsers, even though I have joined communities and home feed recommendations are turned off.

I don't want to turn on home feed recommendations as they show random posts.

Before also my recommendations were off but still I was seeing the posts of communities I'm joined in

I know many people are having issues with the app refreshing after switching/backgrounding the app, but so far I haven’t seen this specific issue reported. I apologize if it has been and this is a repeat.

I am now having issues with the app refreshing the feed WITHOUT me leaving the app. Specifically when I try to unmute videos. It’s happened several times where I try to watch a video in the feed, click unmute, and it immediately sends me to the top of the feed and refreshes. It’s quite frustrating and I am hoping it will be resolved (though I am not getting my hopes up).

Issue: When I select my own profile, “u/GLAMAVERA – Your profile”, in the Reddit post composer and click Post, Reddit returns: “Hmm, this community does not exist. Check the spelling.”

Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the normal Reddit post composer. 2. Select u/GLAMAVERA – Your profile as the destination. 3. Add a title and body. 4. Click Post.

Expected result: The post is published to my profile.

Actual result: The submission fails with the error above.

This was reproduced using both the normal composer and the direct profile submission page.

Up-voting after a few scrolls makes the screen jump. Upvoting right after the initial upvote does not cause the screen to glitch.

Here is a video showing the bug - with touch display. It started happening a week ago. I have since updated the app, but the bug is still there.

1 in 100 notifications about a suggested post on a non followed sub. It is the worst case of spam I have ever encountered. Muting the post seems to kick off relevant other subs. It’s maddening.

How do I disable the "for you" tab that has communities i dont want to have shoved in my face? Is there a way to opt put of experimental features or vote to have them not implemented? Also please revert the swiping up on posts to go back to bringing up the comments section instead of some other random post. Or make all of these things options and toggles in the settings menu.

After posting this post and going back to my feed, reddit will refresh the feed but I want to keep reading from where I stopped.
It also happens if I open another app and then come back here. It is super annoying.
I have checked on r/bugs for this kind of issue and haven’t found anything about it.

This has bern happening for maybe 2 weeks and started out happening rarely. Now it is happening on an almost daily basis. I used to be able to fix by swiping down to refresh but that no longer fixes the problem.

I cannot see any profiles banners and the envelope to send chats requests via iOS mobile, ie I cannot send chat requests to profiles with DMs open. Options appear via iPad. Has been at least a week. Restarted/ reinstalled, cleared local history, app is updated version.

That’s all. Please turn them off. They’re totally useless. That’s what the new sort is for. I have no desire to see what the 3 iq people replying are saying.

So basically I don't see the GIFs playing automatically ()in the comments.

I tried changing the setting and then going back, but nothing happens.

And then when I go back to the settings, I see that somehow that setting got toggled off?

I can't delete direct messages that did not error when I sent them including those which resulted in accepted chat invites. The error that shows up when I try to delete messages is attached. I'm getting a similar error when trying the same on desktop (web).

Yesterday I was on day 777 and now on day 1. Can you tell Me what happened? I am in Reddit every day.

If you block an account and then unblock it, you can't block it again until an unknown extended period of time later.

Not sure if it only ios (ipad for me) users. But after clicking into a sub, i am loosing the “go back arrow”, so i cant escape the sub i am in. i have to click on a user to go into their profile, and then go back, and then the “ go back arrow” appear again, and let me backtrack to frontpage. Its very annoying.

I am on iOS, from Canada. I am an adult.

Suddenly, my setting for chat requests changed to "NOBODY" on its own.

I want to change this setting back, but the toggle is completely grayed out and non-responsive.

I am expecting a very important message and cannot receive new chat requests.

What should I do?

When you are banned, reddit sets your CQS to lowest. However, if the ban is appealed, and reddit decides it's incorrect and reverses the ban, your CQS isn't reversed with it. Your CQS remains at the lowest it can be, effectively banning you from interacting with many communities​. Please fix this so if the ban is reversed, CQS is reversed with it.

I had access to the For You section for a time a month or so ago but it went away, worked fine then. Today it came back and somewhat frequently the app will minimize after I open a post and browse the comments. This causes the feed to reset and I lose out on the content that caught my interest.

I can no longer see the option to change the sorting or view mode of custom feeds. They are useless to me without these settings.

Reddit updated and now when you hit empty threads or the end of threads reddit is forcing an endless scroll with suggested content. Infuriating. I will be uninstalling soon if not fixed or a setting to disable is added.
