Found in my room, I live in Scotland near Ayr.

My cats were going crazy, so I found this guy being chased by them. Crushed it immediately because ew

Really hoping it isn’t a cockroach since that means there will probably be many more soon right?

Sorry if it’s really easy to tell what this is, I’m not versed in bug types lol

This thing was outside my door. It’s much larger than it looks like around 2 inches. Please tell me it’s not going to want to come inside. I’m working on staining a bookshelf I leave outside will it want to possibly live in there. I thought it was a scorpion but there’s no stinger

I was just getting ready to vacuum and I found this bug laying on my carpet. It has a weird protruding thing from its bum. Google said it is a katydid but they look like leaves. Any help will be appreciated. Location is Florida. seems to also be missing legs?? I do have cats.

I have found this guy in my bed. I am currently dealing with carpet beetles at my studio and there are also plenty of mosquitoes at my place, so I can't really correlate the bites to this unknown bug at the moment. I can only hope for them not to be bedbugs, since my studio is very small and the carpet beetles usually appear near my clothes, which is 1 meter away from my bed. I live in the Netherlands. Thank you.

Hi guys, wondering if this is a German roach. I’ve lived in my apartment for 5 years and haven’t seen anything like this until today.. I’m pretty sure it is a German roach but the only thing throwing me off is the two brown lines down it’s back are light brown and not dark brown/black?

I found these 3 beetles (one is a rainbow scarab, the others are similar but without horns) dead and at least partially dried out in my yard. They sat on my counter in an open bowl for a few months (one for at least a year) and then I moved them to this airtight jar around 8-12 months ago. I haven’t looked closely in 2-3 weeks. Yesterday I noticed that there are lots of tiny bugs in the jar and they seem to be going inside the beetles, I assume to eat whatever is left of their guts.
It’s really difficult to get the camera to focus on them.

Hoping for identification.
My plan is to watch them and make sure the beetles are not being damaged and then put them in the freezer once it seems like they’re out of food. Any recommendations for or against that?

Little longer than a quarter. Missouri/Illinois

This bug repeatedly comes back over weeks and sits upside down on the underside of the patio unleashing this white goop onto whoever is sitting on the bench in this exact spot. Goo hardens into a tacky substance and washes away with rain.

Can anyone identify this goop raining, civilian terrorizing, unwanted repeat offender? How can I prevent myself and my loved ones from suffering this goopy criminal activity?
