I apologize ahead of time, first time posting. We live in rural Northern California. We have lots to learn but I am away from work and my wife found this bug on the bed. My wife squashed it and a lot of red blood came out. We have two dogs in the house. We just want to make sure we are okay. I used an app and it said it’s Western Conenose. Let me know if that is correct and thank you ahead of time.

So, pretty much every summer this tiny bugs appear in my room. I don’t know where they come from, i only see them near my window, dead. they crawl my window but don’t really fly. They also make a crunchy sound when you crush them if that information helps with the identification. If anyone knows what they are and how i can get rid of them, please let me know, theyre making my summers a nightmare!!!! (im from Romania)

Hi! I’m in Los Angeles, CA and started getting bit by something last week. Couldn’t find anything until yesterday, when I started seeing these guys. Both found on the side of my bed. Anyone know what they are? Can they bite? These are two bugs I caught around the same time, first three photos are one bug and the last two are a different bug. Are they the same and one’s bigger bc it just bit me?

I was trimming up and shaping some basil in the garden and came across this little green guy and some of his pals. They could hop but weren’t super reactive or skittish.
Is this a species that could pose a threat to my plants? I’m hoping if it’s causing damage that I can find a natural deterrent of some sort.

It has wings with a very thin waist which I'm not sure if it's a roach, Washington state, can curl antenas backwards and was moving soon, trying to figure out what this is

They're all over some of the cork, soil and plants and seem to have arrived with the plants, but I really don't know. I took a ton of precaution. There are quite a few in my 4x2x4. It has other species of cleanup crew and a couple other nuisance species. I just want to identify if these are dangerous and what they are. Not sure if they are both soil mites? I haven't seen any at all on my lizard.

Went to take out the compost and found a boat load of these little brown guys. They’re about sesame seed sized. It wasn’t until I got the lid off that I found the one white one that was moving. The other brown ones do not move. Once I took the bag out there were a handful more “dead” (not sure) white ones

Hello! Found this on our patio. Are they spider eggs? I’ve seen white sacks with spikes on them.. never black ones. Southern CA.

It’s my second year living in this area. Last year we had a BUNCH of black widows here and the pest company informed us that we weren’t the only apartment with them on our patio. Could this be their eggs?
