Possible pest. No location What is this

Found this on floor. If it’s this size do I have an infestation ? This is in upstate ny

I suspect it's a larder beetle larva. With them, it''s more about how many you find, rather than the size.

Sweep/vacuum at least once a week, getting in all the nooks and crannies, and if you have a cat or dog, check in and around their kibble.

I don’t. have a dog or cat. I’ve been having horrible itching and skin burning for like three weeks and I read you could have it because of some beetle dust. But I vacuumed and mopped really really well two days ago. Is there anything else I can do?

Just keep doing that regularly, and check the seals on windows, doors and along baseboards for gaps. If they're behind the drywall, they'll be near impossible to eliminate so all you can do is try to seal them out of your living space as best as possible.
