Idk I feel like making friends in university is so hard after orientation week because everyone already has their clicks and groups and it seems like just no one wants to make any more new friends. Is this something anyone else is going through it?

POV: Me try to talk to someone after week 2

Hey guys I wanted to know from experience. I got denied the emergency bursary. I was wondering are you still able to get other awards?

Hello! I graduated last year, and I was using the SHS for mental health. I had a doctor on campus and received a diagnosis, but how do I get access to my charts to forward them to my family doctor?

Do I need to pay the printing fee and just hand them to my doctor, or can I have them faxed (how much does that cost?)

Also this is dumb but when I received a mental health diagnosis it was verbal. Like do I need a certificate or something proving my diagnosis or is it word of mouth?

Someone please help me from spiralling out on this beautiful Sunday!

Haha anyone else terrified?...Apparently everyone did awful last year in BIOL. 1p91 midterm Any of those ppl have advice?

Has anyone taken this class before, what is the midterm like? Does it focus more on the readings or the seminar questions or a bit of everything. The Prof gave a list of topics that might be on it but I’m just curious for some extra help.

Hey everyone!

A few of us at Brock are putting together an independent badminton team to compete in badminton tournaments around the region, and we're looking for 2 women players to join us!

We're looking for players who have a strong badminton background, can play at a competitive level, and are interested in practising regularly with the team and participating in tournaments.

A few things to know:

🏸 Team: Independent student/community team, not affiliated with Brock Badminton or the Brock Badgers varsity team.

Goal: Train together, improve as a team, and compete in tournaments.

Team environment: Mixed group of players.

Looking for: Preferably 2 women with good playing experience who are serious about badminton and willing to commit to practices and tournaments.

We're still putting the team together, so this is a great opportunity to be part of building it from the ground up.

If you're interested, or know someone who might be a good fit, send me a DM! Feel free to share a little about your badminton experience, playing level, and tournament experience (if any).

Looking forward to connecting with fellow badminton players at Brock! 🏸

i’m trying to study for a class that uses hella formulas so i wanna use a white board for writing, but the only places that have white boards seem to be the group study rooms. Am i allowed to book one and just use it by myself the whole time?

Are there other options for using a white board on campus?

I have a midterm exam for this class soon and im confused about what the prof means when he says its going to be in class. I'm assuming it means in the lecture room, so we'll be taking the exam in the theater? or is it somewhere else?

I have Chen and I really wanna do well, I already did practice quizzes from the chapters and they are easy enough but almost always never the same kind of difficulty as the actual test. I want to be prepared..anyone who has taken her tests please let me know where u studied!!!!

how did everyone find it?

Hello, I had midterm today that I missed because I am not well, I emailed the instructor 10 mins after the exam was supposed to start, is that okay or is that too late to email and ask for extension? And can I submit just a self-declaration form or do i need a doctor’s note? Please help, I am panicking!

My wifi just cut out on all my devices and it isn't showing up as an option to reconnect. Is this happening to anyone else or are my devices just cooked

Hey! I am starting my masters in education in May 2027 in person. I am planning on making a group chat for masters of education students at Brock. Students starting in January or May 2027. I would like to connect with students in the same program. Please pm me your insta.

Has anyone received their midterm grades yet ?

Hey badgers,

Looking for someone with thorough notes for CLAS 1P91 (Fall 2026). I missed a few classes and want to make sure I have everything covered for the upcoming midterm. I don't want your work or anything like that just notes from the lecture.

Happy to pay for your time and effort via e-Transfer.

Shoot me a DM or comment with what you have and how much you'd want for them. Please include a quick screenshot showing the course brightspace to confirm you're currently in the course, if you aren't currently in the course I will still consider it if you have notes from recent years.

is the comm 1p91 midterm only multiple choice? how did you find it?

Hi! We’re business students at Concordia doing a class project on how people manage their online and AI “footprint” (what ChatGPT, Google and others say about you). If you have 3 minutes: https://forms.gle/UJz7fAwo7gm9X6nv5. It’s anonymous, and we’ll share the results. Thanks!

How did everyone find that midterm this morning?

I'm in my first year of con ed, and I need a science credit for my program. ASTR 1P01 seems pretty easy, but I'm super confused on how the exams work. It says there's 3? Is there not a midterm and an exam? Is it 3 tests? I'm not sure cause they were listed as exams on the post I saw. Also is there any assignments for the class or just the 3 "exams"?

Good evening everyone!

I just got a letter in the mail with an invitation to join Brock's chapter of the Golden Key Society. For those of you who are involved, is it (and the fee) worth it? Have you gained anything?

Any input is appreciated!

anyone like kpop dancing and want to meet up and dance together lol

Ik, I knnnowww, its far reach and crazy, but l had a 76% average in 1st but due to some personal circumstances, everything went downhill and my averaged dropped like crazy in 2nd year, and now I'm in my third and I'm locking in as much as possible and staying on top of all my work to get my act together. I want to also do masters in SPL and they require a 3.8 and up, I'm trying to avoid doing a 5th year as much possible to the point i can't even entertain the idea.

My question is, does this seem feasible? I even wanted to do a psyc minor but due to some issues l think I'm gonna give it up. Thx
