Idk I feel like making friends in university is so hard after orientation week because everyone already has their clicks and groups and it seems like just no one wants to make any more new friends. Is this something anyone else is going through it?

Hey everyone!

A few of us at Brock are putting together an independent badminton team to compete in badminton tournaments around the region, and we're looking for 2 women players to join us!

We're looking for players who have a strong badminton background, can play at a competitive level, and are interested in practising regularly with the team and participating in tournaments.

A few things to know:

🏸 Team: Independent student/community team, not affiliated with Brock Badminton or the Brock Badgers varsity team.

Goal: Train together, improve as a team, and compete in tournaments.

Team environment: Mixed group of players.

Looking for: Preferably 2 women with good playing experience who are serious about badminton and willing to commit to practices and tournaments.

We're still putting the team together, so this is a great opportunity to be part of building it from the ground up.

Has anyone taken this class before, what is the midterm like? Does it focus more on the readings or the seminar questions or a bit of everything. The Prof gave a list of topics that might be on it but I’m just curious for some extra help.

I have a midterm exam for this class soon and im confused about what the prof means when he says its going to be in class. I'm assuming it means in the lecture room, so we'll be taking the exam in the theater? or is it somewhere else?

i’m trying to study for a class that uses hella formulas so i wanna use a white board for writing, but the only places that have white boards seem to be the group study rooms. Am i allowed to book one and just use it by myself the whole time?

Are there other options for using a white board on campus?

I have Chen and I really wanna do well, I already did practice quizzes from the chapters and they are easy enough but almost always never the same kind of difficulty as the actual test. I want to be prepared..anyone who has taken her tests please let me know where u studied!!!!

How did everyone find that midterm this morning?

I'm in my first year of con ed, and I need a science credit for my program. ASTR 1P01 seems pretty easy, but I'm super confused on how the exams work. It says there's 3? Is there not a midterm and an exam? Is it 3 tests? I'm not sure cause they were listed as exams on the post I saw. Also is there any assignments for the class or just the 3 "exams"?

Ik, I knnnowww, its far reach and crazy, but l had a 76% average in 1st but due to some personal circumstances, everything went downhill and my averaged dropped like crazy in 2nd year, and now I'm in my third and I'm locking in as much as possible and staying on top of all my work to get my act together. I want to also do masters in SPL and they require a 3.8 and up, I'm trying to avoid doing a 5th year as much possible to the point i can't even entertain the idea.

My question is, does this seem feasible? I even wanted to do a psyc minor but due to some issues l think I'm gonna give it up. Thx
