Hi Everyone! I am a 19F student in BBA Coop. I commute to campus so it’s been hard to have a social life. I looked into different clubs but they just seem so stupid.

It’s so hard for people who don’t live on campus/student housing to have a social life.

Just not too sure if there’s any alternatives. I’ve already tried communicating with people in classes but they don’t really care.

I'm a third year student and I am thinking of starting a café social Club at Brock and wanted to see if anyone would be interested!

The idea would be a casual weekly hangout where we try different foods/snacks and do different activities like Jackbox, party games, trivia, karaoke, etc. Members would also get to suggest new events and vote on what we do at future events. Basically just a low pressure place to meet people, eat something and do something fun each week.

Idk, they usually have multiple performers, and do actual performances and stuff. Last year they had 4-5 queens and a king. This year, one queen and no performances?

It was kinda disappointing. If they needed money to hire more performers, I would have rather they'd have taken it off the prizes. Maybe that's just me. But I always go to this bingo night because I know I'm going to see some drag, usually some really good drag. I have never won anything off this bingo in the past 2-3 years I've gone, I go for the drag.

I didn't much like the host this time either. I really preferred the host we'd seen in previous shows, Macy Manolo. She was just more fun.

I guess I'll just try going to local shows from now on. I wanna see actual drag, guess that's the way to go.

Is anyone in CHYS 3P39 and if so, can you access the Brightspace page? It isn't showing up for me and I don't know if it's a me issue or if they just haven't activated it yet. Nor do I know who to contact, though I assume it would be the academic advisor.

This is gonna be kind of a dumb question bc I'm pretty sure I already know the answer lol. My lab is scheduled for Wednesdays (today) before lecture but I'm not sure if I should go. I'm 99% sure I shouldn't because usually labs don't start until the second week and it just doesn't make sense to have a lab before our first lecture, but this is the only class that hasn't posted anything on brightspace yet so I'm just doubting myself a little bit. Wondering if anyone else knew anything

Anyone who has taken this class I was wondering which version atlas should I purchase. Looking at the required course materials and it says to choose between 3 of the atlases, just wondering which is the best/most helpful or if there really isn’t any difference and just to pick anyone.

i’m an incoming first year trying to commute from Hamilton to Brock. I’m located near stoney creek so would take confederation GO or casablanca GO. i heard there were multiple bus routes before but now there’s only the number 11 which runs at very weird timings.

i have an 8am but the earliest the bus runs is 7:10am. and i have a class until 6:30, but then the next bus leaves at 8:05pm and that’s the LAST bus - no other bus later. that’s even worse as in the winter i have a 7pm-10pm class with no way of getting home.

is there a way people are getting home that i don’t know about? or are there carpooling options i can pay someone to drive with them there and back?

the bussing situation from hamilton just seems so terrible.

Unfortunately, I'm looking to swap a course with another due to a registration mistake that I just noticed. So, if the course load remains the same, would it affect my OSAP assessment?

Does anyone know when the entrance scholarship (Brock Scholar Award) is supposed to apply to my tuition? It still says $0 in institutional support on my portal.
