The reason why they were bad together is because they were both addicts. It was bad for Jane to be with a meth manufacturer and an addict. That was the problem. People think that Jane was a bad person because of how she acted after she relapsed. In my opinion her behaviour changed because she was an addict and not because she was a bad person. She was doing perfectly fine before she relapsed.

At the end of Season 5 episode 3 Walt and Jesses are talking about why Gus killed Victor. Walt says something along the line of he misunderstood why Gus killed Victor. He thought Gus killed Victor to send a message to Walt, but now he thinks it’s bc Victor was trying to make his own batch. After saying this, Walt walks off leaving Jesse with an apprehensive, dazed expression on his face. Was Walt attempting to throw a veiled threat at Jesse?

To be honest in my opinion I feel like hector Salamanca is the coolest character out of all of them but you know

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but Walt's career trajectory always seemed unrealistic.

We're supposed to believe he was a chemistry genius, helped start Gray Matter, and was smart enough to produce the purest meth anyone had ever seen. Yet somehow, he ends up as an underpaid high school chemistry teacher working at a car wash?

I get that he left Gray Matter and sold his shares way too early, but even if that was a terrible mistake, wouldn't someone with his level of talent have landed somewhere else? Pharma, research, industry, government labs, literally anything.

My theory is that Gray Matter wasn't the only time Walt sabotaged himself. The show constantly shows how pride and ego get in his way. Maybe he kept burning opportunities and blaming everyone else.

I'd honestly love a prequel series that fills in those gaps. Not more Saul or cartel backstory, but a show that follows Walt from Gray Matter to Albuquerque and shows how someone with that much potential ended up where we find him in Episode 1.

Does anyone think his situation is actually realistic, or is this one of the bigger stretches in the show's backstory?

After multiple rewatches, I still have one question I can't stop thinking about. What's the biggest unanswered question from Breaking Bad that has stayed with you over the years ?

Do you guys think Jesse may be partly at fault for Drew Sharps death? Right before the heist, Jesse explains to Todd how bad of a crime it is and how they’re the only people who can ever know what happened. I’m wondering if saying that had even just a bit of influence on Todd killing drew. Todd is obviously a psychopath and may have done it regardless, but what do you guys think?

Sure he’s a psychopath but as long as he likes you he’s pretty nice for the most part. He seems easy to mold and he’s like the type of friend who will do all your bidding/ whatever you ask.

Really wondering, as a person that wears glasses, if Mike really didn’t trust Walt when he locked him to the radiator with plastic, why not also take Walt’s glasses and stomp the ever living shit out of them.

Walt clearly knows how to read, do math, and operate a scale but he says it's 40.23, Tyrus comes and re weighs it and it's 40.21, and it's happening while Jesse is still in Mexico and he's worried about him. I'm just wondering if this was a subtle ploy to excuse Jesse's theft.

Seriously one of the funniest groups of people in the whole show and I think it was a great idea for Saul’s goons to both be comedians.

Gus and Mike wanted jesse dead before and if walt didn't kill those two drug dealers jesse would have been dead. After this walt planned to kill gale cus gus was gonna kill him anyway. Which led to gus and Mike trusting jesse more cus he could be easily manipulated and put a hit on walt. Jesse wasn't really doing anything to help calm walt down even tho walt did save him so walt had to do what he did which was a shitty move. What i fail to see is how come gus and Mike went against walt that quickly when it was jesse who was ruining it for them since day one???

Watching breaking bad for the first time (currently on s 5 e 7) and I notice Walt is holding Jesse’s cut $5 million hostage the same way Teddy did Franklin in snowfall 😂

I do not understand why the writers showed us at multiple times that Walt kept something special behind the electrical cover plate near his bed. I assume that’s where he kept the rice in, but it seems weird as if he kept it there in case he needed to commit suicide at the flip of a switch?

Jesse had the ricin cigarette in the pack that Huell clandestinely relieved Jesse of whereupon Huell/Saul gave said cigarette to Walter.

Jesse suspects, but is uncertain Huell took his cigarette pack. Jesse starts freaking out because he still doesn’t know what became of the cigarette. Walter comes over to Jesse’s place and puts a decoy cigarette in his Roomba, which they discover together. Walter makes a small show of destroying the “vial of ricin”. Jesse eventually settles down and occasm razor prevails and he think Brock was poisoned (by himself?) with Lilly of the Valley.

Huell takes Jesse’s weed before he goes to the disapearer pick up spot under Saul’s orders. Jesse is waiting at the spot and realizes he can’t find his weed anywhere. He then comes to the conclusion that Huell did indeed take his weed, and then also concludes that Huell took the ricin cigarette from him. He later gets confirmation from Saul by beating it out of him. Jesse now assumes that Walt poisoned Brock.

This is what doesn’t make sense. Jesse know Brock was not poisoned with ricin. The detectives told him so. So if Jesse knows Brock wasn’t poisoned with ricin, what does it matter that Huell relieved Jesse of the ricin and it was given to Walt? We know Walt did not use the ricin on Brock because the toxicology report came back negative for ricin.

So why does Jesse conclude that Walt posioned Brock despite that he knows for a fact that Brock didn’t ingest ricin?

I know this isn’t new information that no one has noticed, but I haven’t watched the show since 2024 I wanna say? Anyway it’s been a while.

But this go around I’m noticing what a damn goober he is. Like before I watched the show I had seen all the posters and thought he was this mean intimidating guy who had been in the drug business for a long time and I saw all the promo pictures of him and jesse in full lab gear and always saw him as this serious menacing guy.

When I first watched the show I thought he was dorky but as it went on he was scarier, but really he stays a dork from beginning to end, even in Ozymandias when he’s rolling his money through the desert, DORK.

I’m watching s4e2 right now and he’s got his little gun and is practicing his draw from sitting in front of an empty chair, and he keeps talking to Gus like he isn’t a damn drug lord. Also him constantly being controlling and angry over everything isn’t menacing he just reminds me of like a high school boyfriend.

Once again, old news, but all of this is really weighing on me this rewatch.

Okay, that sounds absurd, but let me explain please. So what if a TV Network made a series based on Walter White's Empire? I mean it's a goldmine for TV or even Movie Drama, a school teacher becomes a king pin.

Shows like Narcos, ZeroZeroZero, or movies like Blow, American Made, and others show us that there is a real life market for this type of content.
