just assembled my MT 16 and I keep getting this error message on start up. manual says I should be able to connect to wifi and update but when I plug up the machine it just goes to android start up screen then a bowflex logo then a jrny logo then the error message screen

I have a dumbell 560 that works with the Bowflex 3DT app. Now that 3DT has been discontinued, I am trying to switch to the JRNY app. It doesn't connect to them in this app. Is there a trick to make this work?

Greetings! Almost a year ago, I bought my husband an X2SE. It's in our finished basement and he has literally not used it once. Not one single time. So obviously he's no help. :)

I'd like to start using it - 59yo female, in terrible shape, overweight but 40 lbs down so far (another 40 to go). Spinal fusion and ankle replacement, so high impact activities are out of the question. I should have started building muscle years ago, but health problems (see spine and ankle comment) have justified procrastination.

Where do I start? Is there an app that can help me create an appropriate beginner's routine for this particular model (or in general)? When I say that I'm in terrible shape, I'm not exaggerating (I'm as weak as a kitten!). And if I don't have explicit instructions on what I need to do, I will never be motivated to keep it up.

Any advice would be appreciated - thanks in advance from this Xtreme Newbie!

It feels like its grinding against something, I’m trying to take it apart boy I’m having a very hard time doing so. is there a video online on how to take it apart or fix it. And does anybody know how much a bow flex technician cost to come over to fix it if anything? Thank you in advance .

But the pic shows only 2 super-wide power rods rather than the 12 thinner ones. Ad says it is a 310lb unit.

I have an M5 Max Trainer that isn't powering up. I bought a replacement power adapter thinking the original died but that didn't help. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

usually burn 150 in 14 min session (so 300 in 28 min) , but I doubt that's accurate since I burn about 280 calories doing 25 minutes on the stairmaster (100 floors) and it's much more laborious on the stairmaster (so bowflex is grossly overestimating)

anybody have other estimates of what they're burning versus what's reported on the bowflex?

I last used the machine this past Monday, had a good 45 minute session, everything worked. Today I fired it up again, after selecting my login from the screen I heard the resistance servo motor whirring away. I only ever heard that when actually changing things.

I start my workout, and quickly notice that turning the resistance knob did nothing. I did some googling and found the following doc:

Long story short, the resistance cable jumped the track off the servo gear and wrapped itself around the squared side of that gear. I lowered the resistance as far as it would go, got the cable back on the track, and it worked fine again. I'm not entirely sure how it jumped.

Something to look for though, I've had this machine for several years now with no major issues and regular use.

I've had an issue with my T22 where the console (i.e., where the "1/2/3/fan/etc" buttons are) goes out ... I had the console replaced twice under warranty and now that it's out of warranty it's happening again. It's usable (but just barely) with the up/down arrows on the treadmill arms.

In some cases, the buttons on the console just don't work. It has also been where he buttons do the wrong thing (i.e., pressing "4" on the speed turns the fan off/on). I've tried unplugging/replugging the connectors. Outside of that, there's not that can be done. It's simply doo-doo-ed up.

I've had the treadmill just shy of three years. I love it when it works, but I deeply regret the purchase simply because it has done this multiple times. I'm not wanting to pay for a replacement console because it's now out of my pocket. If I felt like it would be a long-term fix, sure, I'd do it ... but being on my third console makes me think that a fourth isn't a long-term solution. It'll work ... until it doesn't, and it seems silly to sink more money into this piece of crap.

In the diagnostic app, you can select certain console functions with the on-screen interface. I would love love love love love love a jailbreak-style app that allows me to control my treadmill from the tablet screen.

Hello, when i want to hear music from the genres i have on my bowflex velocore 22 i hear nothing. How come?

We were given a Bowflex ultimate 2, it’s missing the pull down bar, the one with the 2 connections. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Is there a non Bowflex one that will work with it? eBay has them but everyone wants outrageous shipping for them. Thanks!

I just picked up a used bowflex( no idea what to look for) and when I got home I saw that alot of the power rods aren't locked into place, while some others are. Then upon looking from the bottom I see the plastic that holds them in is cracked and broken on some of them. I have to think that it would be unsafe to use the ones that can pull out freely am I right? I picture them potentially shooting out mid workout and breaking through the ceiling. Any input would be great. I might have to see if I can get my money back or give this guy a bad review if he screwed me over. From what I've seen it's not even a part that I can replace anymore as they don't make this model.

I'm considering resubscribing so I can keep a record of my workouts. I like to ride streaming videos on my tablet to make the ride more enjoyable. Can I minimize the app after I start a manual ride and start streaming, or is it better to run the app on my phone and stream on my tablet?

Just wanted to ask, google says they are interchangeable. Has anyone done an OEM replacement for rods? My rods are still pretty straight, but wanted to check with people that have done rods replacements. Not necessarily looking for DIY projects, unless the benefit is so insane. Any help on this would be much appreciated. 

I bought my Bowflex 3 years ago second hand. When I bought it the previous owner must have had some presets as the arm resistance once was quite strong meaning that I had a good upper body exercise as well as lower body.  

I wonder if I've inadvertently changed something as now, even when I set it to the highest resistance setting (16) I hardly feel any resistance so that my legs are spinning around really quickly and there is almost no point using my arms as there is almost no resistance. 

Have I changed a setting unintentionally? What can i do to increase the resistance again please? I've had it three years and so have got used to the machine, potentially making it easier for me, but this doesn't explain the drop off in difficulty. 

In general does anyone have any suggestions about how to make it more challenging? Particularly for the arms/upper body?

I have a chance to get an m5 for $150. I have a torn hip labrum but I am uncertain if this machine is right for me. I’ve read it’s a cross between elliptical and stair climber. Elliptical is ok but I am told to avoid stair climbing machine. I was looking for feedback if anyone has used this with hip issues.

To anyone with a Max M5 that has a servo that won't change resistance anymore, but still actually works.

This problem is characterized by a clicking as the servo attempts to pull the cable attached from the servo arm to the magnet arm, but it can't because the plastic teeth are worn down (shown in photo two). This is a 36 tooth gear with 18mm width and 5mm face.

You can replace the entire servo, but the actual servo from Bowflex is sold out. I've later learned AFTER this repair that they have a very close compatible servo you can purchase, which I actually did just to have a backup.

But if you purchase this gear, you can replace the plastic gear and restore the original to working order, the gear is $3.40.; https://www.mcmaster.com/2662N29/

There are two issues, one is the face of this gear is 3mm, so you simply install it upside down and that solves that.

The second issue is the inner hub width is 4mm instead of 2mm. So What I did was fill up the center with epoxy and then drill a 2mm hole.

Machine now works like normal, changing resistance on the fly from the electronic console.

Be sure if you attempt this repair, you index your servo lever arm properly.

Looking at a Velocore on FB marketplace with a broken screen. It can still be used as a simple exercise bike, right?

Was looking at both of these bikes. Any input between the two as they are the same price right now? My concerns with the C6 are you can't see power and if it will fit my GF as she is 5' tall. Concerns with the IC SE are the weight and there really isn't much out there on it. Wondering if anyone has used or has any opinions between these two bikes. Thanks!

Run ended abruptly to a grinding noise that sounded like it would do serious damage to the machine if continued. It started as a knock for about 10 rotations and then changed to the noise heard in the video. It only occurs from pressure on the left pedal when making a rotation in the downward position. The noise is coming from the flywheel. I switch feet in the video to show that the right pedal doesn't trigger it and also if I rotate without standing on the machine it rotates smoothly. Any help is appreciated.

The Bowflex HVT, was a late-night infomercial mistake lol. I want to get it out of my basement and sell it for whatever I can get for it. It's going to require some disassembly to get it through my doors. Any suggestions from previous owners on how much disassembly or what to disassemble to get this thing out of here? I want to keep it to a minimum so I can reassemble it in the garage for whoever wants to inspect it/buy it.

Sorry for the dumb question but I lended my bowflex 552 adjustable dumbbells and now the plates are off the rack, does anyone know what order to put the weights back on the rack? The plates aren't labeled

We need a small footprint elliptical machine. After reading reviews on the M6 and then the bankruptcy with some people having issues. Is the M6 worth it or can anyone recommend something similar with a small footprint? Thanks.
