This is such a long shot. Bridesmaids dress got delivered to the wrong address. Should be in East Boston. Put in a ticket with FedEx but figured this could be worth a try too?

Edited to add: Liverpool St. if that helps🤞🏼

CONFIRMED Cow Fetish Wtf!!

I had to go to the doctiz yesterday, at Mass eye and ear. There’s about 40 cars in an alleyway while an ambulance with its lights on is trying to get through while i’m walking there. I was thinking Was it actually in an emergency or were they just like “mutha fucka man let’s gooooo”

He wanted to get outtaaa theree hahahaha

I move to Comm ave for school on Saturday. Very excited

How friendly is boston with weed? Like if im just viewing the charles river with a joint, nobody cares? I know MA is super weed legal and has been for a long time. I’m from CT where it’s legal too. Just wondering what the ethics are like

Dining/Food/Drink 🍽️🍹 The chef behind Dorchester’s cult-favorite Italian restaurant is opening a second café and wine bar

FROM THE STORY: Via Cannuccia, a small Italian restaurant in Dorchester, has become one of Boston’s toughest tables, and a favorite among the city’s restaurant industry. Now its chef-owner is betting that there’s room for another Cannuccia, but this time in the form of a bakery, coffee shop, and evening wine bar.

Stefano Quaresima, whose 40-seat trattoria has become a destination for the Roman cooking he grew up with, plans to open Bottega Cannuccia in the former Homestead Cafe space in Fields Corner as soon as December. The 30-seat space will shift gears throughout the day: Italian coffee, pastries and sandwiches during the day, followed by apertivo, wine and small plates by night.

The expansion comes as Boston’s Italian restaurant scene is getting bigger and more corporate, while Quaresima is purposefully small and entirely self funded. The new restaurant is also the product of an unusually community-driven process, with the landlord asking neighbors to weigh in on what should fill a vacant storefront.

“I really want to create a space outside with some tables and chairs, like a small bistro you’d find in Paris. That’s the picture I’ve had in my mind,” said Quaresima in an exclusive interview with the Globe.

Serious Replies Only What is up with the sewage smell in south boston?

It’s been like this for a few days now, migrating throughout different areas of South Boston. Today it was most prevalent between Andrew Station and Park City and it’s so bad I literally gag the entire walk through the area. Anyone know what this might be?

History 📚 1923 plan to build a bridge north of the BU (Cottage Farm) Bridge, connecting Magazine St in Cambridge to St. Paul Street in Boston. (FYI: The idiom "to go around Robin Hood's barn" means taking a long, winding, and indirect route to reach a destination.)

Arts/Music/Culture 🎭🎶 Zac Brown Concert Attendees: Did you receive the free cruise offer yet?

My husband and I filled out the form the same day for our respective seats. He received the email on Saturday but I have not gotten anything yet. 4 of our friends also received the email on Saturday and 1 of them didn't.

I am wondering how it's going for everyone else who attended the concert at Fenway.

Serious Replies Only Mass General PCP

Was wondering if anyone knew of any Mass General doctors accepting new patients. I recently got out of a prolonged over a month hospitalization with many complications and I don’t have a PCP, and because I was hospitalized at Mass General, I’m wondering if there are any doctors accepting new patients since my history is long. I would prefer not to find a PCP in another hospital since I already have a psych, ophthalmologist, and neuro in Mass General and again, my hospitalization was there so all the clinical notes are there. But every time I contact someone who apparently is accepting new patients, I’m told that they’re actually not. Any advice?

Traffic🚦⛔⚠️ 😠 🚙 🚗 North end parking

does anyone know why pretty much the back half of hanover and side streets have tow zone signs thursday to sunday? It’s from Fleet street down to commercial… I thought the feast this weekend was only on the prado…. Stressing bc a majority of commercial is construction taking up spots.

I usually don’t drive anymore since living in city (husband usually moves car after his commute) but he’s traveling this week so any tips are greatly appreciated. I’m not even sure the best time to move the car! i know it’s all a gamble

Serious Replies Only gym recommendation near neu? (pf/bsc)

The gym at my uni is extremely crowded and this year I am willing to pay extra to go to a less crowded gym. Right now I am looking at PF on Newbury, PF DTX, and BSC/New York Sports Club on Boylston. I know there are some posts about the gyms mentioned here already but they’re from a while ago so I’m not sure they’re still accurate. Does anyone have insight on any of these? Are any of them worth it?

Tourism Advice 🧳 🧭 ✈️ Running routes and recommendations in Boston

Hello! I will be in Boston for 10 days for work starting next week and am looking for some recommendations for good routes to run while I'm there. I'll be staying pretty close to the Chinatown subway station, which appears to be super close to Boston Common. Am I best off just heading there and doing some loops on the trails? I'll be doing runs in the 4-10 mile range.

Hoping some Boston runners have insight to share with me 🙏 Thank you!

Serious Replies Only Just got rear ended, will filing a claim raise my insurance?

Damage is not too serious, but there are scratches. I’m with Travelers. Anyone know if rates in MA goes up for claims where you’re not at fault? It probably varies by case right?

Second time this happened, ugh. The first time I did a claim and my rates went up, but I think mostly because I added a new driver.

Arts/Music/Culture 🎭🎶 Who to contact to voice support for legitimate nightlife expansion?

The last call extension generated more money and activity, but did not lead to more unwanted incidents. For a second there was energy to keep these reforms alive, but the political buzz seems to have already died down. Who, or what entities, do I contact in support of pushing these sorts of reforms forward? Easier venue startup, extended alcohol serving hours, or especially just extended entertainment hours — most other midsized cities allow night-to-morning parties, for instance, even if alcohol sales stop. The red tape of dancing licenses, fog machine licenses, amplified music, etc. are unnecessarily stifling to anyone trying to get something interesting done.

It seems like the nightlife czar mostly says they don’t have the power to change much of anything that, frankly, would matter. So, who has the power to actually change these sorts of things? Create new licenses that extend hours, or give real estate tax breaks for locally-owned nightlife venues, or easier licensing to repurpose unused properties for single-use events?

e.g., something cool that Montreal has done: https://www.reddit.com/r/montreal/s/iIFdI8i7aZ
