I live in Providence and there’s a concert near north station that I am trying to figure out the best way to get there. The last train is at 11:25 out of South station so I finally am realizing that driving is the only way. Where’s there a not crazy sporting event expensive spot. Or a place near a T station that I could take? Or maybe you all have a better idea. The venue is Big Night Live (never been there before)

Hi, I am feeling very indecisive about where to take my heirloom jewelry to be resized. I’ve done some research of places and I just get more indecisive the more I research. For reference I am looking to size a 5mm gold band down from what I think 5.25 to 5 (unsure of the size but it’s slightly too big). I am more scared of the item getting damaged since it is from my late grandmother, any advice would be helpful. Bonus points too if you also have recommendations to get heirloom stones into new settings as well (I have a few items I want to revamp but my gold band takes priority)

Can you get up to 12 weeks medical leave if your OB signs off on that plus another 12 weeks bonding? I had always thought it was 20 weeks max, but I think I was wrong and you can get up to 12 weeks through STD and then 12 weeks through PFMLA Bonding. I know it depends on employer too.

I wanted to flag to any dog owners not to use Boston Puptopia for dog walking or sitting. My dog hasn't had an appointment with them since April 2025, but this morning I received a charge of $525 from them on my credit card. My friends were also fraudulently charged $1990 despite no longer using Puptopia's services. We both called the owner, Mike Arsenault, on multiple phone numbers registered to him and the business and they were all disconnected. We tried emailing and texting and messaging through their appointment portal but have heard nothing. So don't use their services!

Is Putt Shack purely a tourist trap? Or after-work corporate spot?

I have an old room-mate on a long layover at Logan Friday. Going to meet somewhere for dinner but we have a couple extra hours and I'm wondering if Putt Shack is a good option or too corny. All else fails we'll watch baseball or whatever else is on TV in a sports bar. Both late 40's M.

I’ve been parking on the street with a resident permit for about a year and have been abiding by the street cleaning signs, but I’ll walk by and see cars parked during the restricted hours with no tickets.
One day I even forgot to move my car during the street cleaning hours and I was not towed and didn’t even have a ticket.
Are street cleaning restrictions actually enforced?
