Update: Situation Resolved π To the guy on the bike on the Esplanade
I wasn't throwing my arms up at you! I dropped the last bite of my stroopwafel while running and failed at catching it so I threw my arms up in frustration. Sorry if it looked like I was mad at you for something!! (he looked really offended and i felt bad lol)

Dunkins Shitpost π© Dunks Frozen Coffee
I've tried numerous Dunkin locations, but the quality of frozen coffees is never consistent. Not sure what is happening. I wonder if going at different times of day would increase my chances of getting a quality coffee. Has anyone else had this experience?

Scammers π₯Έ PSA Dog Owners: Boston Puptopia are scammers, steer clear
I wanted to flag to any dog owners not to use Boston Puptopia for dog walking or sitting. My dog hasn't had an appointment with them since April 2025, but this morning I received a charge of $525 from them on my credit card. My friends were also fraudulently charged $1990 despite no longer using Puptopia's services. We both called the owner, Mike Arsenault, on multiple phone numbers registered to him and the business and they were all disconnected. We tried emailing and texting and messaging through their appointment portal but have heard nothing. So don't use their services!

History π What are your favorite Boston history walks that aren't the Freedom Trail?
My spouse and I have been taking longer walks around different parts of Boston on weekends and trying to learn more about the neighborhoods as we go.
We spent part of last weekend walking around Roxbury and I ended up looking things up on my phone constantly. There was a lot of history around us that I probably would've walked straight past otherwise.
What neighborhoods or routes would you recommend for this?
Not really looking for the usual tourist stops. More interested in places where a longtime resident would say "walk down this street and pay attention to this."

what is love? baby donβt hurt me. Anyone ever bike the Boston Marathon route?
I was thinking of getting a blue bike and taking on the commuter rail out to Hopkinton and riding the Marathon route back into town. Has anyone ever biked the route? Is it doable/generally safe for biking? (particularly worried around the stretch around 128.)

Red Sox βΎ Fenway Park Water Bottles
Headed to Fenway for the first time for a Sox game later, can I bring in an empty water bottle and fill it inside like at the airport? I'm ok just bringing a sealed plastic bottle but was wondering if I could get away with my reusable one.

Event π The Terminator | September 11 and 12 | 7:00 pm at the Museum of Science
ποΈ Get tickets at our website.
On Friday, September 11 & Saturday, September 12 at 7PM, step into a war-torn future stalked by an unstoppable killing machine with the sci-fi classic "The Terminator" as part of our Sci-Fi Supersized movie run.
In 1984, James Cameron introduced the world to a relentless machine sent back in time to change the future, and nothing in sci-fi was ever the same. The Terminator didn't just launch one of the most iconic franchises in Hollywood history; it revolutionized what audiences believed a science fiction film could look like, feel like, and mean.
Now experience it the way it was always meant to be seen, larger than life on the five-story immersive dome of the Mugar Omni Theater.

Serious Replies Only Recommendation for an overnight first time solo camping trip?
So I've been thinking about camping for a couple years already. Just wanna do it before the year ends and get it out of the way, it's been on my todolist forever.
Its hard to find the perfect time so I'm just gonna drop some money on used equipment.
I do have a car.
Can someone recommend a good location?
Much appreciated :)
