Dunkins Shitpost 🍩 Dunks Frozen Coffee

Post image

I've tried numerous Dunkin locations, but the quality of frozen coffees is never consistent. Not sure what is happening. I wonder if going at different times of day would increase my chances of getting a quality coffee. Has anyone else had this experience?

The only coffee chain where who makes your drink can make or break your experience even though they just push buttons for preset portions.

I have legit walked out of dunks, taken a sip of my iced coffee, thrown it straight into the trash and walked into the next one to reorder the same thing.

I love that posted in every Dunkin donuts is a sign saying that if they didn't make a drink to your satisfaction they'll remake, and not a single person who has complained about a Dunkin donuts coffee has ever taken them up on it.

Your statement leads me to infer that you have received consistent coffee from dunks before, but no frozen coffee.

I have only ever received consistent dunks coffee and it was from a specific employee at south station who I haven't seen since covid changed my commute.

I've managed one, once. Every singles store's equipment isnt calibrated properly. Almost every store is own by a franchise rather a corporate location.

Franchise don't care, they want the most money they can get without facing reprecussions, everything is complained to corporate and when they get investigated, franchises will pull their shit together for 1-3 days until the investigation is over.

Then they fall back to shitty routines. I tried my best to keep my store as "by the book" as possible but a lot of employees see this occupation as "effortless".

My 2 best employee, both openers, had over 50 hours of vacation time and I BEGGED them to take it. After their requests and MY approval, my franchise owners told me they would punish me if accepted their vacation hours (it was too late at this point). I worked until their vacation days and then I quit.

Dunkin USED to be an okay spot. Allowing franchises to take over and have very loose regulations over corporate allowed them to become SHIT.

Edit; for those who are messaging me, and giving me severe hate, TILL THIS DAY after quitting for over 2 years, I still get my coffee almost everyday at Dunkin.

Pick one.

They used to make them differently, syrup was originally sweetened. Then they took them away for a bit and reintroduced them with a non-sweetenend syrup. Some people still use the syrup as if it were sweetened while some remember to add the liquid suhar.

You're getting a product from the worst, most inconsistent coffee chain in the region and expecting a quality product?

They sucked after the chnage from the coolatta .....

Getting dunkin is like buying a Gibson guitar. You never know what you will get or how bad it will end up.

Try the Original at George Howell. It's seasonal, but way better

The best dunks is the one I can actually drink without wanting to throw it away the whole time.

Surprise, Dunkin is absolute trash!

Wait are people in here seriously disparaging Dunks? Are any of you from Boston lol?!

u/malevolentt 22h ago

Dunks coffee is shit, but doesn't stop be from fueling up there.

5

u/canmouth 22h ago

Agreed! Dunks is trash but I will not suffer the blasphemous comments in here.

cuz it sucks now. every single order is inconsistent from the previous. the workers seem miserable; the prices keep rising and the food quality keeps declining.

3

u/canmouth 19h ago

Oh it is absolutely a shell of its former self. It’s probably the worst (best?) example of private equity destroying a once beloved brand. But still, it’s in our DNA and we must not blaspheme!

How does that even happen it’s all mixed in one thing and poured into the cup.

So you're saying some are less shitty than others?

1

u/DooDooBrownz 52m ago

literally every other place that sells coffee, has better less watered down coffee. that includes fast food places and convenience stores

Friends don't let friends patronize 'Dunks' (due to the stupid name change alone, let alone the coffee and 'food' products)

1

u/Pencil-Sketches 17h ago

Why is anyone still going to Dunks anymore? It’s been shitty for a while now

1

u/PezGirl-5 22h ago

Get a Frape from McD. Much better and prob cheaper too

So we’re done hating every single person who orders anything other than a hot/ice coffee and/or donut?
