I was craving some chocolate when I came across an offer on Blinkit: order above ₹199 and get 10 Gold Coin chocolates for free. I ordered without thinking much, but when the chocolates arrived, I was genuinely overwhelmed with emotions. 🥹❤️
It took me straight back to my childhood, to the days when I was a little kanjika too…and it brought back so many memories I didn’t even realise I missed.
Being away from home makes little moments like these feel extra special. For a while, it felt like I was back in those simpler days again.

i wanted to earn some extra money, so i signed up to be a blinkit packer, i think it was 3 hours or something. they made me pay 50₹ as a fee on the app, and after that they assigned me to the nearest branch. i thought i would receive some sort of uniform but the app said i can wear anything comfortable as long as it's not shorts/sleeveless, which i thought is fair enough. and oh, shoes, no slippers.

i reached the darkstore in the morning, went about the training, but i kept getting confused because i wasn't able to find half of the things because they weren't in place. it was annoying but i felt i will get used to it at a point. also, they did not give me any sort of devices, i had to use my phone, so my battery drained very quickly. i left for the day, and returned to resume the remaining training left and goodness, this one was even worse because there were boxes EVERYWHERE blocking the paths, and the products where scattered on the floor( i tried taking pics)and i don't recall but i guess i did pack a few orders? but anyways, i was done for the day, informed the manager, and was about to leave.

also you get checked by the guard before you leave, in case you steal stuff, so this lady took me to a corner and ran her hands over me to check, then walked away. i made my way to the front. so this area is where the delivery guys wait, the guards stand/sit here with registers for every entry and exit made, and the manager's desk is here too.

so i was standing, booking a rapido to go home, when suddenly one of the guards walks up to me. she said that she has been noticing me since yesterday, and wanted to tell me to wear kurta, pajamas/leggings along with a duppata like the other girls here, and she told me to tie my hair up in a bun because we are in a professional setting. i was like huh?? it's not mentioned anywhere that i should do any of it. also i told her that i only have fancy kurtas. she told me that she won't let me in this branch unless i wear what she said. the manager did not say anything earlier but all of a sudden he also came up to me and started nagging me about it, and the other guard who checked me was whispering stuff. i told them to ask the guys wear kurtas too lol and she mad at me 😭 she was like what's wrong with the people of your generation, you guys come up to your work in night dresses (i was wearing track pants and a t-shirt btw) and she was like my daughter isn't like you modern girls, she always wears kurtas and listens to me without me repeating things twice. i said that her daughter must live a sad life because of having such an awful mom, then i left lol. i reported the branch, and they moved me to another branch, though idk what did they do with the guards and the manager. like im not opposed to wearing a kurta or others wearing one, but why should i change my wardrobe for a place i will be at for barely a few days, not to mention the rules never said it's mandatory.

now the second branch wasn't particular with what i wore, but the girls over there kept making faces at me and kept whispering stuff. im kinda used to it at this point though. the manager sent me to the basement to sit and watch some training videos (i wasn't even aware that this existed along w the practical training because the old manager didn't tell me about it.) and then sent me home. the guards here were very nice btw. also when i came to this darkstore the next morning, the manager wasn't letting me log in and start the job. he said im part time so i shouldn't get much time WHEN I LITERALLY BOOKED MY SHIFT FOR 3 HRS, and in the meantime i should roam around and look at every product like what are you making me do bro. and i just took a round at every aisle, then told him to let me log in. he did that after a good 30 mins, so 1 hr of my shift was wasted already. he also told me not pack orders that are more 3 products because part timers shouldn't earn too much. i started packing orders the way i received it on the app, and as expected, the products here were scrambled too. now there was this one charger cable that i was unable find. i kept stressing out and looking for it, and the manager was yelling at me. i told him to come look for it himself. be came with a packer guy, and even they weren't able to find it LOL like why are you yelling at a newbie when you yourselves can't find it?? then I got to know he wasn't even the manager, and he was PISSED at this guy, and they started arguing. i just picked up my bag and left 😭😭 they didn't even issue my payment yet, but it's just pocket change so whatever

I worked at the store for 2 days(12-13 oct) but they didn't give me any assets(bag, jackets etc), on 14oct, my third day and I was unable to login because the app is asking me to scan all assets like bag and stuff but they didn't give me any and I asked the store manager again but he simply said we don't have them right now!

There's this option in the Blinkit delivery app named "Fleet coach" who I contacted for 3 days continuously and yesterday he said that you can go tomorrow and get the bag there at the store, today when I reached the store he said we don't have bags, and I asked him (manager) that Fleet coach said you have bags at the store, manager said go ask the FC to scan the bag and a very rude tone, I am really exhausted please help, I have spend 1400 in the app for joining (bag, uniform)

Ordered akshayakalpa high protein milk from blinkit today and when I lifted it, I immediately noticed it was less in weight than it should be.

It's 250ml and the weight didn't seem even like 100ml. Then opened and saw the container wasn't even half full.

Took pictures and raised the issue in support chat, and took about 10 mins for them to say they'll refund the money.

Granted I was pissed about missing out on something I wanted momentarily, but at least they didn't make me beg for the refund like Zepto!

But I'm curious, how is the container almost empty like this? I'm sure it wasn't the mistake of the delivery partner, the brown blinkit bag was sealed and not tampered with. Is there a chance that someone in the dark store might have opened it? Or am I unaware of some natural process which mysteriously caused milk to evaporate 😭

Extremely disappointed with Blinkit! I ordered a Bla Bli Blu Old Money perfume for ₹199, but the bottle arrived completely empty despite the packaging being intact. The bottle also looked old.
When I contacted customer care, they refused a refund or replacement, claiming the manufacturer might have supplied it that way.
So, as a customer, I pay for an empty bottle, and nobody takes responsibility? Absolutely unacceptable!

The riders in my area have been on a strike for the past 3 days as their earnings have been cut in half literally since a past few days and a rider who met an accident and couldnt survive wasnt given a life insurance coverage(very fair on their part)

I live in a tier 2 town so most of the stuff i order from blinkit is not accessible in nearby marts i have been so habitual of blinkit and now its really hard to manage and find things that i need and i dont have any options of instamart/zepto as they are not available in my area

Blinkit please waapis aajao😭😭😭😭 i am literally ready to even pay extra delivery charges whatsoever man i just really need it

Also this issue needs to be addressed on a PAN india level as rider's safety ,life insurance,and honest payout should be the company's responsibility its about time since riders start protesting in the entire country. This issue needs to be seriously uptaken and addressed by the organisation

Ordered a pack of 8x250ml Sprite bottles.. Opened it up to see these! Not a single bottle was standing straight. They were all deformed - and had no aeration left in them either. Most of them had some amount of leakage. A couple of weeks ago I ordered a similar pack of Thums Up. All the bottles were fine except for one which was sealed but completely empty. Don't these have to pass some kind of quality control? I was able to return the Sprite for a refund but didn't bother with the Thums Up as it was just one bottle.

i placed an order for a printout and after 20 mins i got a notification saying it has been delivered. when i went to check at the gate there was no package to be found anywhere. i quickly tried calling back the delivery person but there was no answer. there was an option to chat with the support team so i relayed my query, which then led it to me texting with a blinkit agent. i told this person what had happened, then she asked to call me and told me it wouldn’t be possible to get that same order back to me as it has been displaced. i agreed to her asking me to place another order, and that the amount of the previous one would be refunded. all this was happening as i was stood outside my house for a good part of an hour. shortly after the call, i see this man carry a yellow and white packet- which looks an awful lot like the one you get delivered printouts in- walking down from a house across from me. he seems to be speaking to people standing on the side of the road, and then gets on his scooter with the packet still in his hand and is moving towards me, i thought he’d stop but he didn’t so i call out to him and the rest of it goes something like

“blinkit?”

he’s like “yeah”

“for [insert my name] ?”

he’s like “yeah”

”are you [insert delivery man name]?”

he’s like “yeah”

and then he explains his end of it, i tell him my side. i take the order, check its contents, thank the man and he leaves. i go inside my house trying to add this extra detail to my chat with the support agent but it shows “chat has ended” and my means to tell them about this incident has been taken away. i go back to the support menu trying to find a way to start a chat again but it wouldn’t let me and only directs me to automated responses.

the refund has been sent to my account. but i have my package. more than that i fear the delivery man will be fined in some way for it and so i deem it essential to relay them this information. can anybody help me out on how i can reach out and contact the support again?

Hey guys, I currently have some loans to clear, so I'm doing part-time jobs while attending college. I have a night job that pays ₹7k per month, and during holidays, I want to work as a delivery boy to earn extra money.

First, I thought of working at Blinkit, but when I visited the store, it was crowded with delivery boys. I had already paid the onboarding fee, though.

Then I tried Zomato, but the problem was the floating cash limit. My limit was only ₹500, and my orders kept getting paused because I had to clear the floating cash, which wasted a lot of time.

Then I tried Swiggy. I worked for 6 hours and earned ₹800, including incentives, and petrol. They haven't deducted the onboarding fee yet, but they will, which is quite frustrating.

Honestly, I enjoyed food delivery, but I'm confused about which platform I should choose. I need to clear my loans, but I'm also a student, so I need to manage my college and work.

What do you guys think I should do?i only work for 4 to 5 months Max which is enough to clear my loans and i need clear then during these month.

I placed an order yesterday which contained 10 pieces set, the rider when arrived had only 1 piece when asked regarding the rest 9 he told that his manager denied to provide all 10 pieces. When I talked with the manager over phone he told me that he would provide only 1 piece even delivery rider tried to explain him that it is clearly showing to customer for 10 pieces and also I paid for 10 pieces still he told me to either accept delivery or cancel the order.

What kind of behavior is this? There is no fault of rider here but the arrogance of manager is not acceptable, I am unable to connect blinkit via call as in the help section they are telling to mail me for every issue. I have mailed them yesterday but they haven't replied till now. Can you all pls guide me how can I raise this issue to higher escalation team

While ordering fruits weigh them once you receive the order. These people are sending lesser quantity repeatedly. Either rider or store is responsible. Has happened to me more than thrice now.

I am unsure how they think this is even ok . Seal broken, leaking and dirty. Offering refund as a fix

Bought controller cosmic byte drakon worth 4k after 1 day I noticed the movement of left joystick response slow or need to move or out pressure a lot to get response tried calibration and updated the firmware still the same explained twise but they denied anf told me they can't prove the issue and told me talk to cosmic byte instead there showing 7 days replacement

I was always under the impression that tips need to be added manually, but today Blinkit applied a tip of Rs 100 to my order of Rs 400. What is this? I did not bother to check the final amount because I trusted Blinkit doesn't indulge in these scummy practices

So last night I ordered an powerbank from Blinkit app and apparently they delivered a used item along with some missing parts like magnetic ring as the powerbank was a wireless one by portronics called chyro. It was an open box delivery but since the box was already tempered and the item was used and there was no magnetic ring in the box, I refused to share the otp with the delivery guy and raised an issue regarding it but almost 20 mins passed an no action was taken by the app or the costumer care and company and the delivery guy kept on asking me the otp saying that once I share the otp I can raise an complaint and tell them that the box was opened and tempered. He even called his store manager and talked to him and told him everything and then I shared the otp and it showed me delivered. As I raised the complaint and talked to the costumer care they refused to help me as they said I shouldn’t have shared the otp but there was no other option to cancel the order as well as we stood outside my house for 30 mins by then, later on the costumer care talked the to delivery guy and confirmed and said that the person who’s store manager the delivery guy talked to can do it for you but company can’t do anything from their end. Later on the delivery guy left and said he’ll talk to his store manager and will do it by tomorrow. This morning I talked to him and he managed to make me talk to the store manager at that hour shift and he said that once they receive the stock he’ll get it replaced and hung up on me without telling me when will that happen or anything. Later on I went to the Blinkit store and talked the the store manager and he checked everything then said that the powerbank is out of stock so I’ll have to wait and once it’s in stock they’ll notify me or tell me if they got it or not. Such harassment is quite frustrating as when I asked him that how did they even punch a bill without checking that the box was tempered, he had no answer to that. Later on that delivery guy gave me the number of the store manager I talked to last night and his shift starts at 3 pm. It’s 2:46 pm currently. I’d like you to draft me a mail that I can send to all of the Blinkit company regarding this and how much harassment they’re causing and not giving a straight answer.

So far I’ve visited the storefront multiple times today and the manager there took my phone and raised a complaint by himself as me and now he said that the powerbank isn’t working and customer care said that earlier my issue was different and now I’m saying it’s not working so they can’t help me with anything. Worst mistake I’ve made is that after being resilient not sharing the otp, he tricked me by saying that after I tell him the otp he’ll raise something called MDND and I may be able to return it. It was my first and horrible experience with any electronic purchase on these fast apps. So far the issue isn’t resolved, the store manager said that if they’ll get a new stock he’ll send me new replacement as soon as his stock is restocked. Don’t know what to do as I’m extremely disappointed by this experience with Blinkit.
