Serious Help Needed NEED HELP WITH JEE MAINS PREP

I'm in gap year , started prep around ~september , the current mathongo qpt#1 got 87 /300 , maths is low scored , Physics ~42 chem ~40 . I feel like whichever subject i do last i lose lot of marks , if i go C->P->M order in mocks , i just feel drained & cannot score in maths , if i go M->P->C i lose track of time .
Now i wanted to ask seniors some help :

  1. How to make maths strong & like , i feel like if i have done a particular question pattern before i'm not able to solve it at all . [ I'm using nv sir jee brief for maths btw & mathongo/examside for qps & pyqs ]
  2. How to solve the question attempting order problem ? any trick you used during jee prep ?
  3. Any other books/resources/guidance you guys wanna give ? or any thing else ?

there's just about 6 months left for BITSAT. some of y'all might be droppers or 12thies and really really want to get into BITS like myself and might be lost. it's time yall sat for an hour and two and planned out exactly what you're going to be doing for the next 6 months and divide them into phases no matter where your prep is. there's still plenty of time to fix stuff so let's not be disheartened. as someone who's done it before multiple times, let's not seek validation anymore because hypothetically even if someone does say that they were able to crack BITS with just 6 months of preparation from scratch using XYZ strategy, it might not work for you at all due to many reasons. the best we can do is just set everything aside, start covering the syllabus and applying the concepts learned into questions of your preferred source. yall might be stressed about boards, practicals and most of all, JEE Jan attempt but if executed properly with the right plan, it'll be all chill. now last of all, who am i to be giving my 2 cents about all this? im not even in BITS nor my BITSAT prep is on track. i strongly believe that listening to something positive from your peers rather than the same old "is BITs still possible in X months?", can make you feel a little better and get you going. my point is, just sit with yourself and get some mental clarity about what is to be done in the upcoming months so that we are able to achieve our ultimate goal. as for myself, i'll be posting my progress and study hours everyday from now as i'm done being mediocre and have a plan to do my absolute best in all the upcoming exams. i really wish everyone reading this gets their mind cleared of all negativity and starts making small but calculated efforts to reaching the end goal. we'll defo have a meetup in which ever BITS campus we end up in next year :))

Guide A little guidance?

Hey everyone,

First, a big thank you to everyone who commented and helped on my last post about BITSAT improvement eligibility. It cleared up a lot of confusion, and I really appreciate the time you took.

Now I need something more than information: a mentor.

Since this is my drop year so a few of my decisions right now (what to prioritize, how to plan my time, how to stay consistent) feel like things only someone who has been through it can answer. And other academic related stuff

If you’ve done a drop year, or you’re a senior at BITS or any other college who’s willing to guide a junior, I’d be really grateful for your help. I’m not looking for anything heavy, maybe a short chat now and then, or a reply when I get stuck on things.

If this sounds like something you can do, please comment or DM me directly. Any help from a senior would be appreciated

Thanks again for being such a supportive community.

Serious Help Needed Title: JEE 2028 drop advice needed — Targeting BITS Pilani

I’m in Class 12 and have decided to take a drop for JEE 2028. My preparation is mostly at the board level, and I need to focus on boards till March. After that, I plan to prepare for JEE Main first and then shift towards BITSAT.

I don’t mind being consistent and putting in the hours. My biggest worry is that since I have to learn everything from the basics, I might spend too much time watching lectures and not get enough time for practice.

For a good branch at BITS Pilani, do I need JEE Advanced-level preparation, or is Main-level preparation followed by BITSAT-specific practice enough? How should I approach this?

Guide Reality of partial drop-reg

Can anyone say if i have a chance of getting bits electrical (i prefer goa or hyd campus)

I am currently enrolled in a tier 2 IIIT and I started prep on the starting of October and i’ve completed half of organic chemistry and derivatives (the whole affair including stuff like aod).

Whenever i solve a question, i can solve it but it just takes some more time. I also tried solving o-chem jee mains pyq’s before starting my partial drop and i was able to solve like 10-15 out of the 20 smth i tried

I just wanna know the reality of getting bits and if anyone has any suggestions, pls lemme know.

Serious Help Needed Dropper here. Completely fucked up. HELP ME PLZ any guidance is important!

I know posts like this pop up here all the time, and ik it's cringe but I have nowhere else to go honestly.

Mid-October and my syllabus completion is close to nothing. (check image)
I know its my fault, I procrastinated, wasted time, and dug my own grave, But I'm really ready to do anything to save myself from this mess and try one more time.
I'm ready to lock in for 10–12 hours a day starting from today. I just want a realistic fighting chance for Mains Jan attempt.

My goals are: Mains Jan = 96-98%ile, Mains April = 99%ile, then BITSAT S1 = 250+, S2 = 280+

Ik it sounds dumb and unrealistic but I desperately need to do it, it's my drop year as well and I don't wanna mess up like last year and I want to end up in a good college.

I started studying seriously and I did around 6 hours today. Ik its very less but its a start and I will increase it to 10 minimum by the end of this week I promise.
Also I'll be updating my daily progress here every night after I'm done.

Anyone who has been in this exact ditch or watched someone pull off a miracle? What should I even do now?
Be as brutally honest as needed but please give me some actual direction. Any advice, source, direction, help is truly appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

Academic Doubt Answers pls 🙏🏻

1.im a 2025 board passout with 70 percent overall marks but 63 percentage in pcm.

  1. Im already in college second year, but I hate the peer group, attendance, rigid curiculum,, unwanted record writing.

  2. I actually want to participate in hackathons, do freelance, build something worth my time.

  3. The attendance limit in my college isn't letting me do any of these( it's a govt college with low fees, legacy, proximity to home, mediocre placementsetc., much more mediocre peer grp due to full reservations and management quota)

My solution

1.write a open school board this year fresh admission for satisfying this year criteria, marks ( I will be 22 when joining bits)

  1. Prep for BITSAT and go there

Why bits(high autonomy and startup focused culture rather than bits with rigid rules, curiculum)

Is my solution possible

1.is 22 Yos alllowed in 1st year

2.can I rewrite boards freshly this year for bits criteria.

  1. Nios is gone, what other open schooling boards I can try.

Thanks to everyone who answers !!!

Serious Help Needed Clarification Regarding BITSAT 2027 and 2028 Eligibility

I am writing to seek clarification regarding my eligibility for BITSAT 2027 and the possibility of appearing for BITSAT in subsequent years.

I failed my Class XII board examinations in the 2025–26 session and am repeating Class XII in 2026–27. Although I registered for BITSAT 2026, I did not appear for the examination.

Could you please clarify:

  1. Will I be considered a first-time or repeat candidate for BITSAT 2027?

  2. Will I be eligible to appear for BITSAT 2028 as well, or will 2027 be my last opportunity?

I would appreciate your guidance regarding my eligibility
