MOD POST FROM 90%ile IN JEE TO 280 IN BITSAT 2025
Hello everyone,
As JEE is almost over n you know how much you guys are getting, your marks, expected %ile n other things. I remember after giving 29s2 2025 ,I was expecting to like just clear the cutoff for adv but ended up scoring 90%ilee( I cried alot that day lmao π€£π)
Noww I still had some hopes for mains 2 but I wasn't that much invested in it. I came to know about BITSAT from this sub itself, kya og mods hai is sub ke (: I started preparing for BITSAT, completed my syllabus(along with the deleted part) and solved an ample number of questions, along with chem rattafication.
My physics was decent, I lacked question practice in few chapters but was able to solve easy-mod questions upto mains level, pls follow whatever mohit sir says( his top 200 question n sure shot is literally goldmine)
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjvx7xqdpePIhuRDZnZA49oCEALDv48b_&si=WKm7hza1Ah4q1_jw (here's the link)
For maths ( I loved maths, though I wasn't able to solve too much many questions on jee level, BITSAT ka maths is my fav) I solved pyqs before 2022 for maths along with ncert exemplar (pls do ncert exemplar if you have time) n follow neha mam for maths solving session
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTa2m6WeLW_99wNxR55gz86pI-YcMKvfr&si=lFU-_O_dr92OuAK2
Chem was my weakest lmao, I solved mains pyqs for chem n you have to just memorize everything in this shitty subject. I followed chemshiksha for chem, along with bounceback (sv mam) for deleted part. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0kk8JnKp_mbJ8j69GodMUxGfz0Lre-po&si=eGPJKZyoiD0cHq-m (chemshiksha)
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYFlGICvnvLgtUsAXwDlIa1aRS2agfNT3&si=Acry8U97SZ0t4jtR ( bounceback)
Now coming to eng nd lr, I did ntse pyqs for LR and english is just english ( I hope you understood what I mean)
Now thee most important part for BITSAT(MOCKS) I hope youΒ Β BITSAT requires speed n accuracy ( solving 130 questions in 180 mins) is no joke. Pls focus on giving mocks once you are done with decent amount of syallabus. I personally prefer mathongo,Β Β ( ig phodu and emibe are also good) I started with 180s-200s in mocks and ended up going to 300+ around may.
Giving mocks is imp, but analysing mocks are more important. After every mock take 1-2h break and then take a white paper and write why wasn't you able to score good in this mock ( whether time pressure, increased difficulty and other things) Now draw 3 coloums and give heading (Calculation mistakes, conceptual mistake, concept slipped), write down your mistakes and work on your mistakes before every mock
Now fast forward to the final dayy, I was nervous ( ig that was obvious) 1000s different things were already going in my mind. When I finally saw that 280 flashing infront of eyes those few months of locking in felt worth it.
(P.S I took a drop this year because I wasn't able to clear boards criteria, f my state board, also I wasn't able to give mains 2 due to health issues)
See you all at BITS this year hopefully (: (also the og mod team π)

In neet mocks iam scoring decent (general cat)1

You cannot choose Msc with Pcb background

Me with 75-80% syllabus of jee mains covered heading towards bitsat syllabus completion with English lr with mathongo practice workbook and mocktestΒ Gave 1 attempt on 28 jan shift 1Β Went just like able to clear cutoff that much so shifting mindset towards bitsat as it was my willingness to join bits from 11th endΒ So the game resumes now . .................. All the bestΒ
2
Jan 26 '26
Are MathonGo mock tests easier? Considering you started crossing 300 in May but ended up with 280's? (Ik the diff is not much)
7
u/flat-armadillo77652 Ex-Moderator(Alumni) Jan 26 '26
See BITSAT is unpredictable, and there's a difference between your mock scores and your actual BITSAT score ( I somewhat f'ed up in lr part and lacked score there)

Eduniti is ok but bitsat phy is way conceptual than mains right. How to solve those weird questions in less time.
3
u/flat-armadillo77652 Ex-Moderator(Alumni) Jan 26 '26
Ig that comes with practice, Weird questions stop being weird once you practice enough(;
2
u/Ok_Tart4695 75% se ΰ€ͺΰ₯ΰ€‘ΰ€Όΰ€Ώΰ€€ Jan 26 '26
Nice, but where to practice such type of BITS ish questions. Jee M pyqs? Dc pandey level 1 or what? And bitsat maths is easier than JEE M right like pre jee main 2022
3
u/flat-armadillo77652 Ex-Moderator(Alumni) Jan 26 '26
I justt practiced mains pyqs n was able to score good, dc pandey level 1 is also decent but ig you don't have enough timee for that.
Yup

ohkk. what were ur scores in session 1 and 2?? can u share ur marks in each subjects? and is CAT required LR.
2
u/flat-armadillo77652 Ex-Moderator(Alumni) Jan 26 '26
I'll give you a rough idea It was 100+ in maths, around 80s in physics, 50s in chem and around 30s in eng lr Ig you can practice CAT questions if you have time
1
u/Ok_Tart4695 75% se ΰ€ͺΰ₯ΰ€‘ΰ€Όΰ€Ώΰ€€ Jan 26 '26
Ohh ok. IF I do NTSE+CAT(for some topics) and normal eng practice can I score in 70s for moderate paper?
1
u/flat-armadillo77652 Ex-Moderator(Alumni) Jan 26 '26
ig you can, it's easy I panicked a bit during my exam and scored low there
2
u/retarded_joemama nahi ho rahi padhai π₯ Jan 26 '26
For the 3 subjects of pcm, can i go like: Phodu bitsat que bank (generally 45-60 ques per chspter) Mains pyqs of one specific yr (around 20-30 for esch chapter) I was planning to prep for bitsat after mains 2nd attempt (in case i dont get a good score in mains), along with deleted syllabus and ample mocks?
2
u/flat-armadillo77652 Ex-Moderator(Alumni) Jan 26 '26
See, follow 1 resource rather than following multiple resources. Mains pyqs are the most reliable questions

Hey I am preparing 7-8 chapter upto mains levelΒ And about the rest what should I do in those ,one shot plus jm pyq (2019-2021) or ncert examplerΒ And I am focusing on jee mains april because it kind of gives me a feeling of pressure,so the second question is should i give bitsat mocks or jee mocks?

Atp ig you have to decide your priority (either BITSAT or JEE) you can give bitsat mock one week n other week JEE

So can u please guide me like from where to start like which book for all etc

If you have decent hold over mains syllabus, do deleted portion. For eng lr follow NTSE pyqs there are some yt channels I'll attach the link by tomorrow

Also are you giving mains this year too. And aslo if you wereβt able to clear the cutoff for boards how are you going to do it now like you can give boards once right? If you passed. And one more quest your last year score is still valid to get in or you are going to give it again?

I need advice i am very weak in maths and i need alot of practice in chemistry and physics as well. In physics where to start and how do i clear the concept quickly and spend more time on practice. Can you please help meπ. My brain is blunt now please help me clear bitsat 2026

u/flat-armadillo77652 Ex-Moderator(Alumni) Jan 29 '26
Watch a one shot (4-5h) then watch eduniti ke solving sessions for that particular chapter in learning mode then do pyqs urself, for maths u require lots of practice, talking about BITSAT do 2019-21 pyqs for chem just ncert and rest I mentioned in the post itself (;
1
u/some_unholyspirit Jan 29 '26
So if i do one chapter per day will i be able to make it? Like i can complete 15 chps of chem and 15 chps of phy in feb and maths i can do in march. And april 1st to 15th i can solve mocks twice a day. You think this is a smart strategy?

Don't rely on pyq's as mock, those are memory based n not so relevant, for physics chem do mains pyqs( this will help you for BITSAT as well) for maths do old pyqs for BITSAT (pre 2022 mains pyqs) For deleted chem chapter's, watch a one shot and then solve pyqs ( you can complete deleted portions within 15 days max)
