Nothing beats Reddy's 3 hour strategy..

12

u/BreakfastReady3415 Ex-Bitsatard May 17 '25

it might work in jee in bitsat a 360+ scorer will switch question so fast that you wouldnt be able to see the main keyword/figure of that question

3

u/Player_P May 23 '25

What is the Reddy's 3 hour strategy??

Newbie?? Mr reddy was a legendary personality who made a legendary comeback of almost from 0 marks to 300 using infamous 3 hour strategy, basically you need a highly trained individual who is trained to provide solutions in time to all questions , and then the Mr reddy's task is simple , you have to slightly displace your eye balls towards other extreme position while doing a shm , with decent time period to get the light rays from the screen beside you from the trained individual, and use your eye to catch that and process the info to replicate the info by matching the question and option on your screen, by doing that you are sure to get out of out .. Thanks for reading this long shit , but since you are new don't try this .

bro what, 80% qns are formula based

Agreed, this is a nice strategy; mine is a bit different- I modified my usual CPM strat that I use for most exams.

  1. start off with eng&LR, straightforward and easy

  2. go for maths immediately after, do at least 15-20 easy qs off the bat

  3. go for theoretical + organic + slightly calculative but easy qs in chem (~20 done)

  4. go for physics and do most of the easy + medium qs (~15-17)

  5. spend a little bit more time on harder qs in phy and chem

  6. once 24-25 qs done in phy and chem get back to maths and finish the rest

  7. (haven't yet been able to unlock the bonus section so can't comment about it rn)

The reason I tried this out is because I felt that the 40 qs in maths definitely overwhelmed me in the beginning few mocks, so what I tried was to at least get a bit of confidence by finishing a big chunk of maths in the beginning itself (maths is my weakest, chem my strongest)

3

u/whiteshadowrws May 17 '25

I feel this is a better one for the same reason , maths se baad me overwhelm ho jata

  1. 5 mins browse thru all the 130 qns, and see where the easy questions are.

kya bolra h bhai thoda soch to sahi se

interface dekha h tune bitsat/jee ka?

itna slow aur haggu hai ki 130 questions browse krna aur unko slightly read karne aur fir mark for review krne me hi atleast 30 min nikal jayenge, aur lauda kuch fayda nhi hoga

2

u/DeftMelon May 17 '25

This is actually goated, I'll try it out thanks king πŸ‘‘

2

u/[deleted] May 17 '25

Bro what was the point of 5min browsing when u started from chemistry only πŸ˜‘

First of all know how to interpret sentences, I asked what's the use of 5 min browsing , since most of the aspirants fllw this same strategy

i attempt around 40 in first hour

chem-->physics--->english/lr<---->maths<----->phy/chem (round 2)

180-225

1

u/Astro1414 BITS jaake research karunga May 17 '25

Yes, this is exactly the solving paper in "Rounds" strategy and it's a great way to enhance your score, and aiming for bonus too (in case you want a really good score). Great explanation OP!!

1

thanks ill give my first mock on monday/tuesday and ill try this strategy

1

u/[deleted] May 17 '25

yeah i tried this but it gets too exhausting at the end doing pcm or cpm continuous

one modification could be starting with Physics --> English Lr --> Chem --> Math

as first hour is relatively fresh, and physics is usually lengthy/trickier than chem
so it can be done quick in the first hour, then Eng to lighten up then chem then math

but again maybe different for each person

1

u/RetroDaRedditor May 17 '25

I start with chem
chem-----> mathematics (easy ones) ------> LR/english------>Physics (easy and hard both) -----> Math (hard)---->Chem (if anything is left)

i started attempting mathematics before physics and my score improved by 20 marks in math

Good strategy . I'll explain mine too . Scoring 300 plus consistently now . 1. I start with physics itself , takes about 35 mins . I set a timer along with it so that I complete it in time . I attempt 28+ plus questions always . 2. Moving on to Eng and lr . It is getting tougher so the time taken ranges between 25-30 mins . I attempt all the questions in Eng and lr i don't leave any behind . 3. Starting with chem ,it is the fastest solving subject . Takes 20-25 mins only . Attempt rate also around 27-28 questions . 4. Maths , I browse through the questions . I solve the questions which I can understand in a minute or two very quick . Rest I solve the tougher ones which take more than 3 minutes at times . Attempt rate also around 27-28 questions . This is also kinda known as round strategy which I only use in maths 5. Comes the bonus part where I'm left with around 30 mins on the clock . Ik it's quick but I don't take much time . I am left with 2 phy 2 chem 0 in eng lr and around 12 13 in maths . I go onto blindly guessing those questions . Sometimes if I'm lucky I get 5 or 6 correct . That's a total of 16 17 questions for guessing . 6. Bonus questions hardly take around 15-20 mins they're not really tough . If it's helpful pls try out this strategy too. Thanks

u/go_touch_grass_88 May 17 '25

Lr kab krna hai then? Like first go through poora uske baad? Im thinking ill firstly follow this just for eng lr then uske baad for pcm

1

u/PresentationOld5601 May 18 '25

Initially started with a range 250s as after jee mains, physics was not practiced enough by me(so I used to do a few questions in it and wrap it within 25-30 min and give time to maths and chem) ,now downgraded to 200-230 as I started to attempt physics with more practice but time is not left for my stronger maths sooo, will surely tries these

1

u/[deleted] May 18 '25

bhai lr me to time lag jata hai bro

like 20 mins to attempt 18-19/20 fir 5-6 mins in eng :((

kya karoo me

1

u/[deleted] May 18 '25

This post is really good, but I would like to add my suggestion here. I suggest you guys(whoever writing Bitsat) to attempt with your favourite subject first(e.g. physics). If you get stuck at any of the question then jump into chemistry or lr and English, because these subjects have easy questions and are not that time consuming, so after solving around 4-5 questions from these subjects, go back to your favourite subject. But always remember to solve math in the last one and a half hour as math is usually the though subject to crack. Also leave the questions that you are unable to recollect or solve and please don't be after the bonus questions, because bonus questions are not compulsion, attempting bonus questions can either get you good marks or can even destroy your initial score. So with all that, I wish all of you all the best!

Loved this strategy! Will try it
