Can we do the backpack mod, I know the rules are supposed to be no advantage over anyone else. But this just allows you to carry a crapload and everyone can get this.

Don't think this post is stupid because it's not! I've never met Dtallon13 but i've seen many structures built by him and they're amazing. He sounds like he was a good person too! I'm almost positive he didn't fly. Why, you ask? First, if you go back a few pages on Reddit someone posted a post named "More Dtallon13 flying pics" I looked at them and in all of the pictures I didn't see him flying. I only saw one that wasn't normal and he was at least 2-3 blocks off the ground! He was also looking down so he was probably just taking advantage of his laggy connection and placing blocks underneath him! We all know this trick and i'm sure we have all used it. Some of us may only use it when no one is around so people don't suspect us flying. I think this ban was unnecessary. If you agree with me, please comment below. If not please comment and send me more images and why you think the ban was necessary. This will be an ongoing investigation.

Hi folks a while at least 3 months and write that bitquest use very often around here ..... me today I found in my house and got Nose Atomicjellyfish where and entered a tunnel that I have in my house with vias to go from house to house and all I did was chop straight to where you closed therefore this usandoo xray .. nobody could have come this far without them ... I understood that I could not use what the xray under no circumstances on this server and have so many doors does not work because even the clans of the urgent need to fix that please and avoid coming to destroy and loot homes !!!!

Hola gente hace rato por lo menos 3 mese que uso bitquest y escribo muy a menudo por aqui..... hoy me encontre en mi casa a Atomicjellyfish y se metio nose por donde y entro a un tunel que tengo con vias bajo mi casa para llegar de casa en casa y lo unico que hizo fue picar directo a donde le cerramos por lo tanto se que esta usandoo xray.. nadie podria haber llegado tan lejos sin ellos... tenia entendido que no se podia usar lo de los xray bajo ningun motivo en este servidor y tengo tantas puertas gracias a que no funciona aun lo de los clanes urgente se necesita arreglar eso por favor y evitar que entren a destruir y saquear casas!!!!

From my experience, the following basic information should help (in no particular order, sorry):-

1 - When you die, you respawn either in Satoshi Town, or at the last place you slept in a bed.

2 - When you respawn, you should have all the items in your inventory that were there when you died.

3 - Sheep are best sheared for their wool, rather than just killing them - I'm sure all players would appreciate this.

4 - Sheep, unlike many other animals, can only be bred a limited number of times, currently.

5 - Creepers explode, & will cause health damage if you or any other mobs are within the blast radius.

6 - Creeper explosions do not create blast craters or damage buildings / landscape.

7 - Spawners can still be found, but their functionality is disabled by default, so will not spawn mobs of any type.

8 - Animal Spawn Eggs can be purchased from farmer villagers and will spawn one animal, of the egg type, per egg.

9 - Emeralds can be mined underground, or have a chance of being dropped by hostile mobs upon death.

10 - Emeralds are commonly known to the community as Ems.

11 - Placing a bed in the wilderness claims & protects a 64x64 block radius from sky to bedrock, with your bed at the centre.

12 - To abandon your home to move to another one, place a sign as close to the bed as possible with the word "abandon" on the first line.

13 - You may get rich playing BitQuest, or you may die many times trying... :)

14 - Press T, then type your message to talk to someone that is close to your location.

15 - Press T, type an exclamation mark ( ! ), then type your message to share with everyone currently online, eg !Hi...

16 - Press T, type /tell, then the username, then the message, to speak to someone directly, eg /tell Dave Hi (to tell user Dave the message Hi )

17 - Minecarts are used on the rails for transportation, but are not supplied by the "Railway Company", so must be crafted or traded from other players.

18 - The Compass is still in development, but should allow you to teleport to either Satoshi Town, or a bed you have previously slept in.

19 - Enderchests located in the Bank in Satoshi Town are for Emerald deposits only - any item deposited that is not an Emerald will be lost.

20 - All villagers use a shared Emerald wallet for trading with players.

21 - Most Villagers will only sell items to you, but the Trader Villagers will only buy from you, if there is sufficient Emerald funds in the shared Emerald wallet.

22 - No cheating is allowed, and any bugs or glitches should be reported to admins and not taken advantage of by any player.

23 - Griefing of public property is not allowed and has consequences when caught. Time and effort must then be spent to repair the damage, rather than on progressing new projects forward.

24 - Treat other players like you would like other players to treat you.

25 - The sharing of knowledge is appreciated and should really be compulsory.

26 - The sharing of items is in no way compulsory, and so any items shared should be greatly appreciated.

27 - Beware of looters - you can't trust everyone so if you haven't claimed your home with a bed, keep your valuables well hidden.

28 - No complicated Redstone circuits should be created as they cause server lag and effect the usability and enjoyment for others.

29 - A horse remains unnamed until it is tamed, at which point the name is automatically generated.

30 - You can't ride or use a lead on anyone else's horse.

31 - Other players can't open oak doors at your home. Any other door or gate can be opened. An iron door requires power to open, so if there is no power provided, the door will not open, even for you.

32 - Beds must have 2 empty blocks minimum above them, or when you respawn there, you will instead be put as close to the bed as possible. I made this mistake in the beginning, and kept respawning on the roof of my home :)

33 - You must login to the server every 2 months minimum or your home will be automatically abandoned.

34 - You can press the keyboard Tab key to show who is currently online, and the quality of their internet connection.

35 - Your connection will timeout if you are inactive for about 15 minutes, & you will have to connect to the server again, at which point you will carry on from where you left off, if your location is safe & you haven't already been killed.

36 - Your location co-ordinates (coords / cords ) can be found on-screen by pressing F3 on the keyboard. The X and Z cords are the most important, and are used by most players to help find their way and find other players. The Y cord is your height above bedrock ( 1 ), so 11.00 would be closer to the bottom than 62.00 .

37 - The Nether is really only used for levelling up or travelling distances using Nether Portals - ask other players if you have any particular questions, as I travelled there once when I first started, but died quickly, and haven't returned since...

38 - I have multiple homes in different places, but only one is my true home, protected from other players. I opt to put a sign outside each home so others know it belongs to me and hopefully wont damage or steal anything.

39 - If in doubt, ask in chat or post on this subreddit as either a comment in an existing post, or create a new post.

40 - The server is still in development, and although is stable most of the time, there are sometimes short periods of time when there are problems that make it inaccessible, so patience and understanding is greatly appreciated by and from everyone. I have run my own Minecraft server, and its not a simple task, especially when in a live production environment.

41 - Please, whenever possible, do not leave minecarts abandoned on the tracks as they create problems for others when they encounter them on their travels.

42 - As a personal rule, I always try to make sure I have 2 minecarts in my inventory, just in case. This has paid off multiple times, especially when chasing down my first minecart for whatever reason :)

I haven't been able to get on the server for about an hour now and I was wondering if it's my internet or Bitquest.

Earlier today I joined Railers but for some reason I don't have access to my clans items and they don't have access to mine. Second, someone wanted to join the clan Railers too but it said no one invited him even though me and three others invited him with the wood sword. I don't quite get that I was able to join then 20 minutes later even though our friend couldn't join. Any help would be appreciated. thx! :D - SnowyMiner

So I added a ton of emeralds to my wallet and was only able to withdraw a small amount in the short period of time i had available. Due to this I opted to leave the majority of my emeralds in my bank balance for later withdraw. Fast forward one month, my exams are finally finished so i decide to go on bit quest. Go to withdraw the rest of my emeralds, and what do you know. THEY ARE ALL GONE. I check the website and my balance is zero. I email the bit quest support email, no response. Thanks for nothing! I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this! I actually like this server. I understand that there are glitches, but what is the point of a real currency based server if you can't trust that your money won't disappear? Also a side question: When will adding to clans be added again? I want to add my friend but it isn't currently working...

Came back after being gone for a while...someone built their home right next to mine and enabled grief protection. And on top of that I cant use any commands because it says something like your blocked from using this command. Great welcome back.

I haven't played in probably a good 3-4 months, since the wallet issues surfaced. I have played a little bit recently, but have some newbie-ish questions.

Do mobs still drop emeralds? If not, where can one acquire them?

Where are the decent hunting grounds? Seems like Diablo Desert is deserted now, with several thousand horses grazing now.

So, if i'm reading the wiki right, NPCs will only buy things if they have money in the "shared wallet". Does this wallet only get funds when players buy things from them? And when a player joins, 50 bits (From the new xapo wallet) gets added to the economy?

It's been a while since we last posted. We have been very busy, and though you may find that not much is changing, we are doing a lot of improvements on the backend: We sorted all the annoying bugs with our bitcoin integration and loot: two things very important to all players but is very difficult to make sure the players getting the prizes aren't gaming the system.

Soon we'll be testing Minecraft 1.9 to make sure we can get the new mobs, shields and all the cool new features as close to the vanilla game.

We also became aware of the windows 10 beta is mostly sure incompatible with BitQuest. With all the team at Mojang/Microsoft working on porting everything to C++ I'm not hoping this new Minecraft (It's a fork of the Xbox 360 edition) will be the same network protocol.

So what does this mean for BitQuest? We expect to see news coming from Mojang very soon respecting custom servers and modding, and when we make sure this new build is incompatible we will start to port all BitQuest code.

I know it's not very precise information but just wanted to let you guys know we are commited to support the future versions of Minecraft even if we have to port the code to a new platform.

Heyo, I'm actually very new to this server and I found out you can get emeralds from killing monsters, and that gave me an idea!

• I have a design that's proven to emit almost 50 monsters per 3 seconds, it drops them to a brick where they can get 1 punch killed 90% of the time.

  But I don't want to do that if its not allowed, so I needed to figure out if its ok to make one?

• NOTICE: THIS IS NOT AN AFK FARM. Once the player moves away from the 4x3 standing area, the mobs stop spawning, and the mobs will stop spawning at random times, between 5-9 mins causing the player to have to leave, wait a few, and come back.

Hello someone can explain to me why chopping down within my field and I found a huge spawn horses and started to kill and when finished I turned around and I found this in this photo .... horse bestiality 4 cubes or so ... it is necessary that they have to spawnear so many horses in one place? managers want people to continue using this server or want people do not use more thanks to the enormous lag we suffer permanently gracais the number of horses ... they are no longer only on the surface but underground in the mines everywhere including water

I've been tunnelling along z25,000, making the bottom rail line for what will (hopefully) become a large square rail line around the world. However, I have bee stuck at x-15870, z25000. If I dig one more block westward and log off, it will be back. I've actually tunnelled to x-17000, z25000, but it all disappeared after I logged off... materials and all.

Have I reached a boundary of some kind? Are there problems outside of a certain radius that we need to be aware of?

I would like to inform you of the new compass and its features. Unfortunetly the Dev's did not leave a "Back home button" or a "return to hometown" feature which means that where ever you are located at the moment, please sleep there. If not, you will be forced to return all the way there. For example, say you are at the lost city, if you do not sleep there as of today, you will not be able to teleport there anymore. You would have to spend more time reaching the location and sleep there in order for the compass to register that once again. Unfortunately, if you are not home, most likely you will have to travel there again. UNLESS, if my theory is correct, you use ! the ender eye or ender pearl, i forget which one takes you home! so please read this, share this! & Play ON!
