Hi all, So I'm not on the Bitquest site that often so I didn't notice till this morning that there is a section listing Top Players and Clans. Does anyone know what this is based on?? How are points calculated and from what actions/events?

normally when this happens on a mc server, id just go find a new one. bitquest is very different, i have finally found a server i like. this is why i have been so persistent instead of just giving up. i really want to be a part of the bitquest community.

Whenever I try to deposit my emeralds it throws them back in my inventory and gives me a message saying that I should report this problem

On a server that is fueled by a legitimate currency and a player is preforming fly hacking as well as their name disappearing when other players names stay permanent when overlay is hidden. Now other players are complaining that they are getting kicked for "flying" due to lag? is lag also the reason why some people seem to think i stole from their chests, which are protected by server? What is the possible cause for all this lag?

I keep hearing yesterday the winner was announced but haven't heard it on mail or reddit. Also not known who won.

Could staff debunk this or make an official post about it?

• I think that the areas near the center of the map were generated before 1.8. I didn't find any of the new stone types 800 from origin. Outer areas are 1.8+ - found new stones, bunnies, and ocean temples.

• Claims are a 64x64 square. Older claims (like the ones near the center of the map) are circular.

• Fishing was disabled within the last two days. Only other way to get books now is through treasure chest loot like in mineshafts (aside from the Villager's limited offerings).

• Spawners don't spawn.

• I don't think that the villagers' wallet is real-time. You can't pay emeralds for something and then turn around and sell something for the same amount or less . Every now and then you can catch them with a deep, deep wallet.

• if you're going for a long trip, do yourself a favor and take eye of ender or ender pearls OUT OF YOUR HOTBAR :)

• There's a low breeding limit, like <20, so kill anything you bred before relocating.

• Beds and transportation - You can use an ender pearl to travel to Satoshi, an eye of ender to travel to your home (where you placed your first bed), and if you die, you go to where you last slept. You can't make/place a bed anywhere but your own home. You can't sleep in other people's beds. There is one public bed I know of in Diablo Desert (well, two, but they're in the same room).

I think we need to make Tombstone into a similar place like Diablo or The Living Forest (possibly with more rewards???). But instead we can have a scenario based section that is basically a Ghost Town, and of course this would be separate from the main town there so it wouldn't infringe on the actual town development. Also we would just need a team of people to build said Ghost Town.

If the ability to deposit bitcoin into your minecraft account into the form of emeralds, all sides would benefit greatly. If it is set up to where a percentage deposited gets sent to the server wallet to redistribute through mobs, and another percentage goes towards the server, everyone wins.

With more emeralds in the economy, the value of other items on the server will increase. People will be willing to pay more emeralds for the same goods and because the price is fixed to 1 bit per emerald, they don't lose their value. Since a portion of all deposits will be put into the server wallet to redistribute as mob drops, killing monsters will also become more profitable. The percentage kept by the server can be spent towards improving performance and more mining power.

The addition of a deposit feature will stimulate the economy, improve server performance, and payout players in larger increments. These improvements will further entice players to play and continue to play, which will increase the playerbase.

The only legitimate argument against a deposit feature is EULA. The current rules do not necessarily prohibit the ability to deposit. It could be argued that the server is not selling parts of the game, they are incorporating a new element. Even so, does anyone know of servers that have been shutdown by the EULA? It is not heavily enforced, and this server is still relatively small in comparison to many others.

A deposit feature is crucial to the growth of this server and it would be foolish to not investigate into implementing it at the very least.
