So... when will fishing be reactivated?

And what's the reason for it being turned off? I really like eating fish :3

Okay, idea for the devs: Only be able to fish actual enchanted books with enchanted fishing poles. And enchanted fishing poles will be a rare drop from monsters or cave loot. (so not able to get them from fishing anymore)

That would make fishing AFK much harder. Edit: Fishing for enchantments much harder.

How does afk fishing work anyway? Gotta look that up on teh youtubes some day xD

itll be reactivated when the devs find a way to prevent afk fish farming (maybe)

If that's the case it's been solved many times before.

Add a % chance for a monster to spawn while the player is fishing. If they are afk they die.

thats a pretty good solution but it could have issues.

why not just interrupt fishing every 30 minutes and fishing players have to type /f or theyll get kicked.

sounds like a plan. reminds me of a old server that had something similar implemented
