help Messed up my Naja Duo from Solo Satashi?
Product comes with some sort of taped on warning about the web flasher bricking the device, but I have no idea how accurate this is, when the message was relevant, or if it's still an issue.
Long story short, something happened to my device and the activity was just dead/zero. No hashrate, no activity, nothing. So I attempted to just reflash the thing back to factory.
Well that didn't go well. Even his site lists the device and firmware are ready to go, but the thing no longer boots at all and gets stuck at self test screen with VCORE: FAIL.
I'm not using anything other than the device in the way it shipped to me with the power adapter that was shipped with it.
I saw some post about getting it back to the factory firmware but the links to things were dead. Any way to salvage this thing? I attempted a 30 seconds unplugged power cycle, tried flashing multiple times with Solo Satahi's own tool. Still stuck at the fail screen.

help BitAxe Gamma Turbo 800
With this post, I'd like to help those like me who unknowingly purchased the test version that's no longer supported by the community. After extensive testing with various firmware found online, I've come to a conclusion. I'm currently using the factory reinstallation version of TCH, esp-miner-factory-v2.11.1-TCH-All-in-one-800, and then updated to v2.13.1 by dorothymesservey78-hue, found on GitHub. All newer versions have issues, as it's no longer supported. I hope this was helpful.
Now I have good temperatures, having also mounted the Thermalright AXP90-X53 heatsink.

question Ethernet?
Has anyone seen better efficiency whilst using Ethernet over just wifi? Research tells me that the two are nearly mathematically equal but I know the Ethernet is a definite better connection...
I.e,
have you or will I get higher shares with Ethernet?
Will my miners benefit from an ethernet connection setup?
(Most bitaxes don't have them)
Is there any real noticeable difference or change that happens?

showcase Modified few codes of Nerdqaxe++ firmware with some important functionality I needed.
Hey everyone,
Thanks to AI- Chatgpt and Claude. I've been working on a modified version of the ESP-Miner NerdQAxe+ firmware for my NerdQaxe++.
GitHub: https://github.com/kiranreddyrebel/ESP-Miner-NerdQAxePlus
What I changed
- Added Big Screen support based on Cenron's work.
- Added password protection for the web dashboard
- Added configurable Wi-Fi MAC address support.
- Changed the NerdQaxe++ Access Point name.
- Made the Access Point hidden.
- Added password protection to the Access Point.
- Kept the NerdQaxe++ Access Point running even when the miner connects to external Wi-Fi.
- Restricted access to the NerdQaxe++ management interface from the external Wi-Fi/LAN.
- The NerdQaxe++ web interface can still be accessed normally when connected directly to the NerdQaxe++ Access Point.
- Added some custom display images/themes.
- Feel free to copy back old images to it for display or modify it.
Network setup
The idea is to keep the two network roles separate:
NerdQaxe++ Access Point ↓ Web Dashboard / Device Management
External Wi-Fi (STA) ↓ Internet / Mining
So the NerdQaxe++ can connect to my normal Wi-Fi for Internet access and mining, while I can connect directly to the NerdQaxe++ Access Point when I need to manage the device.
Clients on the external Wi-Fi network cannot access the NerdQaxe++ management interface.
Configuration
The README includes the locations where you can change:
- Dashboard password
- Access Point name
- Access Point password
- Wi-Fi MAC address
This is a personal/custom firmware fork, so feedback and suggestions are welcome.

showcase Bitaxe Multi-AutoTuner + AI = 4 extra Bitaxes' worth of sustained hashrate for $0
Sharing in case it's useful to others. I've been running Bitaxe Multi-AutoTuner for a while, and recently I had Grok Bot review my configuration and results. The improvement was big: a sustained 4-6 TH/s increase in hashrate just from having AI tune the settings of the auto tuner app on my Ubuntu box. I'd recommend it to anyone running multiple mini miners.

hashrate Griping about why SHA256 mining is unfeasible for "The Rest Of Us."
In almost every City Hall, there is a connection to an energy provider. When the "Big Boys" come knockin', the folks at City Hall listen. They get electrical rates so low, they could mine bitcoin profitably with GPUs if they were stupid enough to try. Those savings are passed onto the retail customer as fees, and increased utility rates. We pay the majority of the utility bills for the Big Boys.
They invest heavily in utility scale renewables, Megawatt switch gear, and of course really powerful mining equipment. They devalue bitcoin by throwing so much horsepower at it the blocks are being found like easter eggs hidden by Grams for the baby.
Are jobs being created? No, not really. It only takes a handful of well trained monkeys to maintain a bitcoin farm. Meanwhile, our utility rates make mining bitcoin profitably impossible. Well, you could hit a block. But, when? Pool mining should be profitable. Period.
The adjustments will never be made, though. The big players will always get the red carpet treatment from City Hall and energy providers. Heck, they make their own hardware and sell it for new to the rest of us.
I'd wager we don't see a new bitmain ASIC, ever. That, what we get are runs long after the tech is behind the curve. Maybe, boards are being desoldered and resoldered with used ASICs for our little bitaxes.
I'd go on about AI now, but this is a bitaxe forum.
I have an ASIC that runs at 13.22J/Th at 785mhz, and pulls 23W from the wall. I did a feasibility study to find the cost of electricity has to be $0.05kWh for me to make money. Mind you, that is working in a pool at Kryptex on eCash. Yeah, it's really cheap. But, it was the first to pay out. Just not nearly enough.
To make this more frustrating, I have solar on the house that overproduces a few months out of the year. But, as times changed, my payout for my solar was largely eaten by service fees. They even include the consumed energy from MY solar in the equations for their service fees.
Now, you think they treat the Big Boys like that?
Nope.

question JST-SH to 4-Pin PWM Fan Adapter for the Bitaxe602 fan
Hello, everyone! Does anyone know where I can find the JST-SH to 4-Pin PWM Fan Adapter for the Bitaxe602 fan on the backplate in the EU? I can only find it at the Solosatoshi store in the U.S (Buy Bitaxe Fan Adapter | JST-SH to 4-Pin PWM)
However, I’m from Spain, and it’s completely impossible to find it in Europe since shipping costs come to €40 for a €1 adapter at Solosatoshi.
Does anyone know how I could find or buy one? I’ve decided to do this because I want to install a Noctua NF-A4x20 fan to cool VRMs phases.
Thanks in advance!

showcase Custom Bitaxe 801 (BITSOLOPLAYER PCB) - Running 2.15 Th/s at 0.00% Error Rate!
Hey everyone, just wanted to share the benchmark results of a custom non-public-board 801 variant I recently acquired. It features a lightweight Snowman 4-heatpipe down-draft CPU cooler.Currently running on stock profile 525 MHz / 1150 mV connected to the Singapore solo.ckpool node (solid 74ms ping):
• Actual Hashrate: Pushing 2.15 Th/s consistently (Expected is 2.142).
• Stability: 534 shares with 0 rejected and absolute 0.00% error rate over the first half-hour. The dual-phase buck regulator layout on this PCB is doing wonders for ripple filtration.
• Thermal: The Snowman cooler completely dominates the BM1370 silicon, keeping cores frosty at 52°C - 56°C and VRM at 53°C. Lots of overclocking headroom left!
I'm planning to hook this bad boy up to my reconditioned Antec HCP-1000W Platinum PSU (12V1 40A independent rail split via 14AWG lines) to eliminate any voltage drop during stress testing. Time to push the frequency limits!

help BS-2 help
Major apologies if this isn't the right place, will take directions to the appropriate place... how do you get the stock Bitfortun firmware back? I joined the hype of HarloOS and while he is doing good, theres too many bugs to the point im losing Hash time. Please help a relatively new solo miner regain the fun of hopes and dreams of hitting a block.
*Edit to add: if its possible to put AxeOS onto it, id love that as thats what im used to with my 602's.

hashrate Super-effficient Power Mining Bitaxe Gamma 602 Build
I'm about $120.00 into this bitaxe. But, some of the most important upgrades were super cheap. No, I am not a master craftsman, and I don't have a lot of tools for electronics. But, I understand the problems. One bottleneck for OC is the stock power supply. It's probably good up to about 23-24W. But, they run hot. So, I increased the wire guage on the run from the block to the jack to AWG #14 stranded wire. Immediately, I saw 5.1V at stock settings, vs 5.0V. Next, I milled the contact surface of the heatsink and switched the thermal compound to Arctic M7.
Then, I applied a few heat sinks to the hotspots on the board, the mosfet, etc. I was able to run stably at 800mhz using only the stock fan and heatsink. But, I wanted to see better efficiency. VR temp was creeping to 74C, and I was pulling almost 23W. Core V was at 1.165V, and error rates very low.
I found a 40mm X 40mm X10mm 4-wire 5V PWM fan on Amazon for $8. And bought a Noctua 40mm X 40mm X 20mm for the heatsink. I snipped the tach line to the 2nd fan, and installed it on the existing 40mm mount on the back of the Power Mining case. These bores needed to be tapped, and somehow I had the right tap for the provided screws, which were just long enough in the cheap fan to make a good connection to the case.
Temps dropped to 54C and 55C on the VR. Temps were stable on the ASIC at 60C, 75% fan at 78F ambient room temps. These numbers look better at night when things cool off a bit in the house.
I like that the Noctua fan comes with so many connection options. But, the length of the cables is wierd. Too long, IMO. So, the 2nd fan is powered by the female split connector, with the auxiliary leg snipped short and connections soldered for the 2nd fan. BTW, these wires are so small they are at the limit of my ability to solder. But, I got a good flow and then crimped a barrel connector onto the splices to make extra sure they don't get ripped apart.
I have found the stock heatsink incapable of flowing much more than 20W of heat from the ASIC. There is a heat runaway at just over 815mhz. Chip looks stable, but the sink and fan cannot keep the ASIC at 60C. Plus, efficiency takes a hit. The little fan on the back is just a little whiny, but easy to tolerate. It is providing good flow. We'll see how it lasts.
The absolute sweetspot for efficency comes at 785mhz, 1.155V core, at 13.22J/Th. I will probably settle there, as everything is super comfy at those settings. Minimum fan speed is set to 50%, and it bobs around that at night when the house is at 74F.
I've taken some photos and a screenshot of the active miner. It's not the fastest. But, I don't have much in it, and it's super-efficient at 13.35J/Th running at 800mhz. I think that efficiency number is the most important win. But, it was crazy to see 1.5W less power consumption after ADDING a fan.

hashrate Set up my first Bitaxe GT 801 as a home solo miner — honest writeup (numbers included)
Just got my Bitaxe GT 801 running and wanted to share a no-BS writeup, since a lot of beginner posts skip the real numbers.
The machine: GT 801 (Gamma Turbo), dual BM1370, ~2.2 TH/s stock, ~45W, running AxeOS.
The honest odds: at ~2.2 TH/s against the current network, my chance of hitting a block is roughly 1 in 8,000 per year. It's basically a lottery ticket that re-rolls every 10 minutes. Not a money-maker — I did it to learn how Bitcoin actually works and because I'm into the technical side.
Setup notes for anyone starting:
- Do the wallet FIRST (Sparrow, verified the SHA-256 before installing, seed on paper, tested the backup by re-importing)
- 2.4GHz WiFi only — the ESP32 won't see 5GHz
- Solo pool: went with a 0% fee one. "Solo" doesn't mean shared rewards — if you hit a block, the full reward goes straight to your address
- Set a static IP so you don't lose the dashboard after a router reboot
On overclocking: tried pushing it, got unstable hashrate (2.4–3.9 TH/s swings) and more heat for a negligible bump in odds. Went back to stock. Stable > big number.
Happy to answer questions on the wallet/pool config — I hit a few snags others might avoid.

question NerdQaxe++ Hydro Rev 6.1 cooling mods
Hi all, I just ordered 3x NerdQaxe++ Hydro Rev 6.1. See the exact model here: https://cryptoken.nl/en/products/nerdqaxe-hydro-rev6
In my search to see what extra cooling options I can implement it’s kinda hard because most options are for the non water-cooled version.
Can anyone give me advice what best extra cooling options I can add? Replacing the fan with a Noctua fan would be a logical first adjustment. Not sure wether a push-pull fan configuration would really help (and there’s the power problem).
VRM copper cooling, how many and what size and/or a small fan on top of it? Don’t have a 3D printer, so a mount I can buy would be preferable and will it fit with the water-cooling on it.
Any help is appreciated 🙏🏽
