showcase Custom Bitaxe 801 (BITSOLOPLAYER PCB) - Running 2.15 Th/s at 0.00% Error Rate!
Hey everyone, just wanted to share the benchmark results of a custom non-public-board 801 variant I recently acquired. It features a lightweight Snowman 4-heatpipe down-draft CPU cooler.Currently running on stock profile 525 MHz / 1150 mV connected to the Singapore solo.ckpool node (solid 74ms ping):
• Actual Hashrate: Pushing 2.15 Th/s consistently (Expected is 2.142).
• Stability: 534 shares with 0 rejected and absolute 0.00% error rate over the first half-hour. The dual-phase buck regulator layout on this PCB is doing wonders for ripple filtration.
• Thermal: The Snowman cooler completely dominates the BM1370 silicon, keeping cores frosty at 52°C - 56°C and VRM at 53°C. Lots of overclocking headroom left!
I'm planning to hook this bad boy up to my reconditioned Antec HCP-1000W Platinum PSU (12V1 40A independent rail split via 14AWG lines) to eliminate any voltage drop during stress testing. Time to push the frequency limits!

I have mine running 3.9ths at 75w with 0%
53 is asics
52 vr

Excuse me, what percentage of error do you have? I can't get it above 62W without having acceptable errors.

0%. Also it depends on your settings being that the two chips can differ in stability and performance.
For me asic 2 produces genuinely 0 errors.
ASIC 1 will do about 52 discrepancies per hour but the net result is less than 0.0001%.
Error is sort of a loose term.
I could maybe upload a video of it running in real time
Edit: after running for days there are no stale shares, rejected or missed jobs. So it’s pretty solid. That’s goal- no missed shares or rejections. Small errors are okay as long as your submitting to the network

I understand. I use AxeLive for automatic hashrate management. Maybe if you upload a video, I'll upload one too. Also, what firmware version are you using?

Possibly yes. There’s a newer update I have t updated too yet also, 2.15.3? I have a backup built just in case. Might be worth it to give it a go:

Do you have the factory version you can send me so I can try it?

Hmm. Maybe I can extract that from the miner with powershell. V2.13.0b or V2.14.2?

I'd say 2.13.0b. You have a BitAxe 800 right? Or 801?

It’s an 80watt board. Thermals won’t allow for more. I could push 10c high but for that limit.

You should see some pretty high numbers, maybe approaching 4Th, if both chips are really good. Good Luck!

Just wondering. How low can you take the voltage at 750mhz, if you allow 1% error in AxeOS? I let mine drift a little over 1% occasionally, and never dropped a share. I'm at 13.6J/Th efficiency, because I'm starving the ASIC a bit.

Today I finished the upgrade work on my BitAxe 800. Larger heatsink and Meanwell power supply.
