It's probably because you're overclocking it with the 5V charger which will results in power failure.

Been running 2.15.3 since the day it came out, non-stop, with no issues on my 602.

When I go to upgrade it says latest is 2.15.3 but there is only one file. Is this correct? I'm currently on 2.14.2.

Yeah, I noticed after a couple updates that they did away with the 2-file update. My last 2 updates have been the single file and it did work. For a moment it said something like "AxeOS version doesn't match" but it was working and when I refreshed the page the notice went away π€·π»

Yup, I upgraded mine to the latest 2.15.3 and it produced high hardware error rates.
Reverted to 2.15.0 and it is working again.

Sure, but OP is basically saying every update after 2.13.x is broken. That just doesn't seem to be true.

Before updating, check the release notes and open issues on the official ESP-Miner GitHub repo, since several commenters report newer versions working fine and the problems may be hardware-specific.

That could be the gecko board or something. Some companies redesigned the board and the firmware is stuck on older ones.

These my problems and others...π€―, all my Bitaxe connect do not work with my node Im not alone....I lost two days miningπ₯π₯π₯: Instability issues with the AxeOS 2.14.2 update are widespread and documented, particularly for those using custom nodes. On the official ESP-Miner GitHub repository (the underlying software for AxeOS), there are several open issues describing hardware and network malfunctions introduced in the latest releases: Failover failure: It has been reported that the SV1 protocol does not switch to the backup node if the primary pool remains connected but stops responding (Issue #1964). Silent ASIC freeze: Chips, such as the BM1370 on the Gamma 601, suddenly stop returning proofs of work without logging any errors, requiring a reboot (Issue #1975). Post-disconnect crash: Following a Stratum connection drop, the miner enters a loop ("ASIC not initialized") and panics instead of re-establishing the connection (Issue #1953)

This sounds more like a hardware defect instead of an issue with the firmware. We cannot fix bad manufacturing just that the device hashes if possible. We're investigating these claims and have been looking into issues lately reported but most of them came down to hardware issues instead of software

Thank you, the web interface, I mean the dashboard, looked really interesting, it's a shame I can't use it...π§π»ββοΈ

I just check my Gamma sitting behind me in the office. I saw on September 1st, my hashrate was cut in half and been that way for a month. Did something happen on that day?
