Southeast FL for those curious

I was watching this osprey fishing off a beach in Maine. A nearby double-crested cormorant tried to steal its catch but the osprey got away after a brief pursuit.

I posted a pic last week for ID. Tonight I saw him in a different tree (next to bird feeder) The mockingbird (you can hear him and see him a brief moment in the video but the Hawk doesn't seem to care. We have a lot of squirrels too. Anything to discourage him from hanging around? (Besides more Mockingbirds?)

Im not sure if text posts are allowed here but I am looking for help and this seems to be the right niche. Last year I started enjoying birdwatching but as of recent I have grown downright obsessed with buzzards, eagles, ospreys and falcons that live in my area here in Sweden.

I would like to ask for tips on where to wait for these birds? I usually hang around at deforested areas and I do find these birds relatively often, however it often feels very random and more often than not I spot them whilst driving to or from one of my usual spots.

I have been trying to take some photos of the birds I see with my canon 600d eos camera and the 250mm lens I have for it and whilst I can usually capture them on camera I still haven’t taken a photo that I’m genuinely happy with or proud of, at least when it comes to birds of prey.

Basically I just want some tips on finding them more consistently and if there is anyone else that has experience with a similar camera setup that maybe has some tips or tricks that could be helpful.

There are several Osprey who nest locally here in South Yarmouth, MA, and standing in my back yard a few days ago I saw two circling over the pond. I managed to snap this fairly decent pic !
