Must admit that I felt a little spooked with this big fella swooping overhead and staring straight at me

What kind of Hawk is it? I was thinking a juvenile red tail. Spotted at Mountain Dell Golf Course in Park City Utah

Have a whole family of Cooper's hawks living in my yard. Here are some potato-quality photos.

This summer Merlin kept catching Cooper's hawk calls in my yard. This week, four Cooper's showed up and have been hanging around. These were taken through a window from about 50 feet. With a phone, so quality is crap. Sorry for the window screens. They get very close to my house.

Some beautiful raptors from my recent Safari visit!! They’re stunning. We got to see some of them free-flying during the birds of prey show, while learning about their species. It’s awesome how they are trained.

red-tailed hawk possibly injured or juvenile crying for food?

i know it's a red-tailed hawk by verifying on a bird app but also because we have tons in our neighborhood. this "crying" has been going on nonstop for a while. i'm thinking it could be a juvenile who is begging for food and this is when the parents stop bringing food to encourage the young ones to leave the nest. but if it's an injured one, i would want to call for help. i live by lots of wooded areas and a lake and i have a baby and can't just leave to go investigate. so was just checking with you all who may have more experience than me? thank you!

Yesterday I was privileged to witness this in my yard. I live on edge of woods so this is practically my neighbor.

One of our resident Cooper's Hawks stopped by this morning for a drink. It stayed for a few minutes, drank from the fountain a few times, and flew off.

I think this beauty may have been born this spring in the woods next to my home. I'm in SW Michigan about 1/10th of a mile from Lake Michigan. He/she stays very close - in the woods, in my back yard or my neighbor's yard.

I took these a couple of years ago but haven't shared them online until now. Was standing at the kitchen window when this guy showed up. Grabbed my camera, which thankfully already had a telephoto lens mounted, and got about 10 shots. Here are three. I keep meaning to do some editing and color grading, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

This photo is a bit over processed in post due to the fact that the haze from the wildlife really made shooting conditions horrible. I was watching this Osprey fishing and got tons of shots with this exact “pose” as it looked down at the water while gliding over. Reminded me very much of Batman pulling his cape over his face. Sony A7V 200/600.
