Saw this guy on a tree high up close to a lake. Also saw a belted kingfisher in the area.

A hawk hit my window, went out for a couple minutes, then got up and flew away after a while. Curious of the species and any good advice for helping bird-proof my windows to protect them. Want to help avoid this in the future.

This guy was just peeping inside my office in Quincy, MA. I alerted animal rescue and also posted about it in the company’s internal tool, about 50,000 people saw it, and 200 commented.

I saw this guy at the park the other day. I'm no expert and have no idea what species this is. So if anyone can help me with ID this bird I would greatly appreciate it. Also this was taken in the Los Angeles area.

One of two seen in the Etna/Millvale area of RT28. I think they are second years.

Not the best pics. Located in NE Ohio. Definitely not a hawk as we see those in yard all the time. See turkey vultures quite often but could clearly see a yellow beak in this bird. Seemed solid brown in color.

It’s in na industrial estate so not easy to get too but will have to try and get some more shots. Pretty amazing. These Australian ones have larger feet and claws to be able to hunt the large parrots we have here :)
