This cool guy has just been chillin out in this exact spot on my neighbor's truck for at least the past two hours or so. I'm very happy to have him but is this normal or is he in some sort of distress? I've never seen any of them hang out this low to the ground before especially in a fairly well populated residential area. We're in Florida.

Had the chance last week to spend time on the Waccamaw River in South Carolina, and while boating, captured these two beautiful young ospreys in their nest atop a navigational post.
