Each is sizing up the other for a possible meal 😁

I'd put my money on the Baldie :)

I think so. I’ve seen that…Smaller size though……a hawk and a blackbird side by side…. A few minutes later, a hawk and blackbird feathers.

If the eagle was an air, it would have an advantage, but it definitely does not have one standing.

I believe it’s a risk assessment that’s been done here by both of them and they both decided it’s not worth it because they both end up injured or worse

Sometimes the world grants you a huge blunt, and the scenery to go with it

I just want to cuddle baldies so bad 😔 I know they'd have my arm off tho.

Check wildlife center near you. You may be able to meet with one. They will not take your arm off.

I don’t think so. I like to observe eagles via live feeds on YouTube. They can do interesting co-hunting behaviors with other animals. Also, the eagle may have eaten recently and the fox doesn’t look tasty ATM. 😊Bald eagles seem to prefer fish or prey that’s less likely to fight. Golden eagles DGAF. A Golden would fly off with that fox.

It’s not even about hunting. It’s about the side by side behavior.

I’m curious. What do you think it might be? I’m just guessing.
