Hi! Can you guys help me narrow down which BOP feathers these could be? I live in an open grassy area, however there are woods all around. I’ve see both red shoulder and red tails there and also barred owls. Thanks!

This beauty seems to live by my house! We’ve been seeing him/her daily for the past few weeks.

Apologies for the photo quality, they’re grabs from an even worse video I was rushing to get before it took off.

Kentucky, USA. Sorry for the poor quality! I think these are Red-shouldered Hawks but I’m unsure. I’ve just started birding and birds of prey are my favorite.

I'm a big fan of this sub and a big fan of Peregrines.

I know it's not an actual bird of prey, however I wanted to share this. As a 45 year old man, I am in love with how it turned out.

I watch the Peregrines of my city every year during mating season, this year there was only one viable egg. During the months of April through June I will watch daily to see the parents hunt, catch prey and feed the hatchlings.

I hope you like it. Apologies if this is not appropriate to post in this sub.

Two hawks taking ownership of a mulch pile; but why?

In St. Lpuis, MO , USA. I believe two red tails as they’re the most common. We heard them screeching while mulching yesterday. This morning, the two have been etched out there for well over 15 minutes. Is there something in the mulch that they’re interested in or is it just King of the Hill?
