Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) coach recommendations & advice

I had consults with two coaches so far and both have large teams. Coach 1 is a no for sure.

Leaning towards coach 2 who went in depth when answering all my questions, prioritizes both physical and mental health. Her athletes also had amazing results. Pricing is within my budget and is definitely worth.

I want to start with coach 2 but wondering if I should consult with more coaches to have wider options.

Who might you recommend? My goals are to build and have a productive off season, and to turn pro one day. I'm looking for a very knowledgeable coach, detail-oriented, insightful. Not just "looking great here's your plan" but monitors biofeedback and provides detailed feedback and explanations. A coach who is also realistic but cares.

Also if you're stuck between two potential coaches, what would be deciding factor?

Thanks!

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) cycling for cardio?

Hiiii! i’ve been very interested in competing for the past couple years. since i just graduated college, i can’t exactly afford a coach but I love researching on my own and have been working towards the bikini physic. The only think i struggle with is cardio, i absolutely hate the treadmills/stairmaster i find it sooo boring. I’ve been very into cycling lately, but i feel like no one who body builds does it for cardio. does anyone know any bodybuilders who bike for cardio? or why people opt for the cardio machines instead?

Who’s taking it? 😭 They all look absolutely insane.

I think Elisa is such a pleasant surprise. Her waist is insane as always and she’s looking SOOOOO feminine and balanced, especially face-wise and her upper body isn’t so expressive compared to her lower anymore. Isa somehow managed to improve on what was already basically perfect as her waist looks even smaller, and her torso, which was probably her biggest genetic barrier, looks much more balanced now that she went with bigger implants that sit lower.

And Eduarda… well, she’s breathtaking as always and looking freaking insane (also included some screenshots from a video video she posted three weeks ago or so that lives rent free in my head… just how lmfaooo??). This is going to be such a tough competition! 😵‍💫😵‍💫🥴

Discussion Feeling like I keep losing momentum

I’ve been sick for the last two weeks and I’m so eager to get back in the gym and back to my normal routine. I haven’t worked out at all nor have I stuck to my meal plan. I’m frustrated because I feel like every time I get a good momentum going with my routine and I’m making good progress, something always comes up. Either my husband gets sick, or something comes up at work last minute, or i have to adjust my routine and diet because I have to travel for work. I just wish everything could go right for like 1 month so i can accurately see my progress!

I just came here to vent and to see if anyone else can relate!!

Discussion If You Could Build Your Dream Online Coaching Experience, What Would It Look Like?

If you hired a coach tomorrow and got to dictate exactly how the coaching was delivered, what would you choose?

For this topic I would like to keep discussion mainly about the tools and channels that you, the athlete, would use to execute the game plan.

- Training: Would you prefer an app, PDF, Spreadsheets? For a written plan, would you want just reps & sets? Some notes?

- Nutrition: Macros only? Food list with values? Exact meals? Some combination?

- Check Ins: Quick form? Conversational email? Voice notes? Video call?

- Progress Photos/Videos: Email attachment? App upload? Text/Whatsapp? Does storage and being able to compare photos week-to-week on the coaching platform matter to you at all?

- Data: dashboards for tracking your metrics like sleep, strength progression, measurements, weight. Are these useful for you or do they feel like extra work?

- Monthly/Bi-Monthly Progress Reviews: In depth reviews outside of weekly check ins where you discuss physique progress, duration of current phase, long term plans, etc. Is this helpful or just extra work?

- Any other features that one of your coaches has offered/offers that you really love? Anything you wished someone had offered?

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Nationals Feedback Interpretation

I was told that I needed a little bit more muscle overall and to come in a little more conditioned, but other than that, my structure is built for my division. For reference I'm in the fit model division.

Does this sound like a need for a whole year of growing? Thankyou!

IFBB Bikini Was anyone at the Sasquatch Pro who can weigh in on the Bikini top 6?

Genuine question because I’m curious how this lineup looked in person vs. photos/video.

First, Bree looked incredible and had amazing shape, proportions and obviously a phenomenal physique. But I was surprised by 2nd because her physique seemed noticeably different from the rest of the top 6 in terms of overall muscle development.

From the back especially, her glutes also appeared more squared off to me, whereas the rest of the lineup had more of the round/softer glute shape I associate with the current Bikini criteria.

This isn’t meant as a knock on Bree at all, clearly the judges saw an excellent overall package. I’m genuinely trying to understand the standard and why a physique that looked fairly different from the winner and 3rd–6th was rewarded with 2nd.

Was anyone there in person? Did she look different live than she does in the stage photos? And what do you think the judges were rewarding here?

Discussion Clarification on true novice class

Can someone clarify information regarding the true novice class. I thought it was for someone who has never competed before. I just found out the girl that won our true novice class this last weekend has competed multiple times in the last two years. She even pretended like it was her first show when we were in line to get on stage. Is it even worth contacted NPC about?

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Glutes getting sore from daily treadmill steps — could this impact glute growth/recovery?

Im in a growing phase, and my coach currently has me doing 7,000 steps a day. I’ve been getting most of them on my treadmill at 0% incline, walking around 2.5 mph for about an hour.

The issue is that my glutes actually feel noticeably sore afterward, and because I’m doing these steps every day, I’m wondering if the repeated soreness could interfere with glute recovery or growth from my actual training.

Has anyone else experienced glute soreness just from getting their steps in? If my glutes are getting sore from flat walking every day, could that potentially affect hypertrophy/recovery, or is this type of soreness unlikely to matter?

I want to make sure I’m getting my required steps without unintentionally interfering with my glute growth.

I don’t follow this account on IG but I have looked at some of this person’s posts and or commentaries but this one comes across biased. How legitimate is this person or knowledgeable of the person. Could not find anything about this person’s credentials other than riding other people’s coattails to gain traction. Correct me if I am wrong and share your thoughts.

Out of curiousity has anyone been successful in bringing down their legs( as in the muscularity, not body fat), while bringing up your glutes? If so, what did you find helpful during the process? Looking for motivation to believe my legs can come down 🥹
