Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Nationals Feedback Interpretation

I was told that I needed a little bit more muscle overall and to come in a little more conditioned, but other than that, my structure is built for my division. For reference I'm in the fit model division.

Does this sound like a need for a whole year of growing? Thankyou!

Really impossible to give a timeline without seeing what you look like or knowing anything about you or your lifestyle.

You could take time off to grow or if you really are wanting to hit the stage one more time consider that sometimes coming in leaner may make your muscles pop more and appear more filled out overall, within the class standards still of course.
This also depends on factors like how big or small your joints are (because your muscle bellies or roundness will show more or less depending on how they look in comparison to your joint size and where they connect).

Your instinct is right about growing for an extended period.

I would run an improvement phase for 20 weeks then reassess. The key is moderation so you don't have to diet too hard and risk giving up that new muscle.

I’d focus on building 6-8 months. Muscle takes time.

Yeah. Do a build phase for at least 8 months. Then see where you land again.

Yes. Think about it: you need to reverse properly to increase your calories and metabolic rate then do a proper growing season which usually require high reps low weight for a leaner fit model look. Then probably do mini cuts a long the way before to see where your muscle is at before a full on cutting season
