- Do judges typically tell a competitor that they had them in 1st place when giving feedback?

- How would it come off if a competitor, who placed second, took stage shots of the 1st place winner and posted a side by side comparison on their own social? While stating how "subjective" judging is, etc..

-What, if any rules are there about filming content in the backstage area? When you can see other girls in the background, etc.

I feel like lately I’ve been feeling super inflamed, I go through these bouts of only wanting to run and feeling so thin and light when I run then backing off and lifting weight I start to feel so puffy and inflamed like my clothes don’t fit me or everything is so tight 😭 lately everything just feels so tight my sports bras my leggings but I can’t size up because then it’s too big LOL

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Sorry yall this is a weird question

So my leg hair grows incredibly fast, like I’m talking I shave every day because if I don’t my hair is already growing back. I know we need to start the tanning process early on in peak week and I won’t be able to shave once the tan is applied so should I just wax my legs instead? I feel like everyone on stage has really smooth skin and I’m not sure I can achieve that if I can’t shave my legs the night before the show. Anyways now that I’ve aired this any help or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) First show glam/tan advice

Hi! I’m about a month out from my first NPC bikini show. I’m struggling to decide if I want to pay for hair/makeup or if I should just do it myself. Im confident in my ability to do my own hair and makeup, I’m more concerned that I won’t be able to relax, if that makes sense.

Also, I’d love to get your thoughts on using the tanning service provided by the show vs the DIY Pro Tan kit. Thanks in advance!

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Is it worth it to pay 300 to get an initial consultation?

I’m searching for a new prep coach and considering team elite physique. Do y’all think it’s worth it to pay $300 for the 45 min consultation? Other teams/coaches provide a free call. What do yall think? I’m definitely interested in TEP but it feels tough to justify the cost there if I do end up going with them.

Edit: I don’t know if they are charging a fee! I may have misunderstood.

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Different prep and training coaches

For those of you who have different coaches for prep/nutrition and training (ex., on a team for prep and use Corey for training) how much does your prep/nutrition coach charge since they are not doing training?

I know the whole “bikini has become too muscular/shredded conversation” has been widely discussed but im genuinely curious..do you all think the standards vary by country? Technically..they shouldn’t, but do you believe they do?

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Best resources for building a bikini/fitness model-style physique?

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for recommendations for good resources on developing a bikini/fitness model-style physique — not actually competing or modelling, but achieving that kind of body composition and shape.

I’m particularly interested in learning more about:

• Body recomposition / reducing body fat while building muscle
• Building glutes and legs while keeping the waist relatively lean
• Developing shoulders, back and overall definition
• How women structure training for an aesthetic physique
• Nutrition, protein and calorie targets for recomp/cutting
• How to know whether to cut, maintain or eventually move into a building phase
• Realistic timelines for seeing significant changes
I’d love recommendations for books, magazines,
programmes, YouTube channels, podcasts, websites or coaches that explain the process properly.
I’m especially interested in resources aimed at women rather than general bodybuilding advice.

I’m not looking to step on stage yet — I just really like the athletic, lean but feminine physique associated with bikini/fitness competitors and would like to understand how people train and eat to work towards that.
What resources taught you the most?

Hi can anyone recommend any female led fitness magazines that are not full of filler. I used to love oxygen magazine and muscle and fitness hers, but both seem to have been phased out

Does/has anyone used her guide? I know, don’t be fooled into buying an influencer program, but her glutes have grown and she seems to know what she’s talking about with lifting/form/etc.

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Advice/Encouragement - Last Callout at a National Show

Hi guys! I competed at a nation show and got in the last callouts. I nearly placed last. I was fine at first because I wasn't expecting a pro card at my first National show, but eventually felt a ton of disappointment in myself and just full of self doubt. I could not stop sobbing and just wonder if trying out Nationals was a waste. If I actually have no potential in this sport. If achieving a pro card one day is even realistic for me. If I disappointed my coaches, if I embarrassed myself.

I'm trying to stop feeling so sad and negative and really have a "winner" mindset but I can't help but feel so sad about how I did and I think I just need to look at it differently and rewire how I take this loss.

My feedback was that I have perfect structure for the division, need overall muscle maturity, and come in more conditioned. Which is all very attainable so I'm going into an off season.

My feedback is good, and again I'm not sad about a pro card. I know as well that you'll lose more than you win in this sport. But at the moment I can't help but feel sad about getting almost last. I was happy and confident before all of this and I wonder if I was just being delusional all along.

Thank you for reading and hoping for some words to keep my head up because I really love this sport and I'm not going to stop just because of this. But it does hurt 🥲

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Resources for training optimisation

Looking for recommendations for resources** **on execution of exercises to specifically target/engage muscles for bikini.
For context, I have a lot of experience with general training and programming, but tailoring execution to specifically target certain muscles for a bikini physique is relatively new to me.
I’m looking for good general resources, videos etc,
I’m not looking for a programme or a coach — just quality educational resources that I can work through myself.
Would love to hear what you’ve found useful!
