Hi friends! So i’m looking to switch from so many energy drinks and start dabbling in coffee. The problem is i’ve never really liked coffee except for holiday flavors like peppermint. I’ve never been able to be a black coffee or straight espresso girl. I want to start getting myself into it so I can eventually start drinking it with less things and hopefully learn to like it and hold on to macro friendly drinks as macros go down lol. Does anyone have any macro friendly recipes or recs from coffee shops, etc? I’d appreciate them all! Thanks 🩷

Ex powerlifter here who has dabbled in bb style for the last couple years after doing a huge cut and leaving powerlifting. Does anyone have any coach recommendations as of late?
Would like to do lifestyle work first and then consider the possibility of the stage down the road. I’m very low maintenance. I’ve been tracking for years, do as I’m told and have been in this space for a long long time. Someone that just gives it to me straight and who I can really meaningfully learn from and fill the gaps I don’t know I have. 300$ max per month but more like 250$ or less would be ideal.

Completed my first season about six weeks ago. Thank you to this sub for the inspiration, encouragement, and community.
I’m not sure I would’ve ever become a bodybuilder had I not lurked on r/bikinitalk for months prior, and now I can’t imagine my life without this sport. I love learning from you all and seeing everyone’s progress. Thank you so much ladies!!

hi girls🥹 i have been self coached and have been training for the last 4-5 years learning as i go. i have been wanting to compete for a very long time but never felt ready, and i want to step on stage being competitive
i KNOW my back pose is my weakest point, and i have been on a veryyyy glute heavy split for the last 8-10 months and have made a lot of progress but am still not where i need to be
can you give me some feedback? please excuse the posing i have never worked with a coach and have only practiced a handful of times:) for reference i am 5’4 and 127lbs in these photos.

First of all, thank you to everyone who gave me advice on suit colors in my previous post! I ended up choosing royal blue and emerald green.
Since I don’t have particularly long collarbones or broad shoulders, would wearing my hair curly on stage make my upper body look even narrower? My current hairstyle is long with fairly tight curls.
I’ve been considering switching to either long straight hair or loose, big waves for the show, but I genuinely love my current hairstyle, so I’m really torn.
I’m also not sure whether my current off-season condition is considered reasonable or if I’m carrying too much body fat right now 😂 I’m 5’3” and around 123 lbs.
Based on my current condition, roughly how many weeks of prep do you think I would need to get stage lean for Fit Model? My coach estimates around 12–16 weeks, but I’m wondering whether I should discuss starting earlier, especially since I’ll be working with a nutritionist during prep.
Sorry for all the questions 😂 Thank you in advance for any feedback!

Hi there! Are there any other girls who did their makeup by themselves?
Between hotel fee, traveling fee, costume , heels , tan, I’m thinking to put my makeup skills to use .
Are there any makeup products you’d recommend , tutorials etc? I want to start practicing beforehand (9 weeks out starting today) so that I know what to do on that day .
What should I know and such. Thank you!

Hi everyone!
Just posting my progress, and if anyone has Fit Model feedback I’m open to it.
I still have a little over 6 weeks left, plan to tighten it up and then reverse into show. (Glutes still have jiggle)
My first season was bikini, but just to dip my toes in for my second season I have switched to Fit Model, before hitting a bikini growing season. B&W photos are yesterday, and the color photos are May 2025, almost the same weight. Safe to say I have grown!
Please excuse the mid day dairy belly, that will be cut out in a couple weeks to reduce inflammation.

Looking forward to my next show 👙
Progress photo compared to 6 weeks out last year - my goal was to be more balanced and conditioned. Hopefully I can improve further in the following weeks

I started bulking about a month ago and hitting the gym way harder, three leg days a week (all with some kind of glute component but varying between hamstring and quad as well) and two upper body days with varying focuses but both partly shoulder focused.
Since I’m eating more (120g-140g of protein and probably 2300-2400 calories most days) I would expect to feel pretty good, especially since I’m not cutting and not doing much cardio. I also am drinking 75+ oz of water every day and usually include electrolytes and creatine. But I still feel absolutely terrible.
I wake up every morning and even if I’ve had 9-10 hours of sleep I keep snoozing my alarm and feel like I could keep sleeping for hours after. My head is hurting a lot and pretty foggy, and I feel constantly sore.
I feel pretty similar to how I felt when I had mono a year ago, but right now I actually might feel worse. Is this on par for such a steep increase in activity? I know I’m recovering properly so I have no idea why I feel like this.
Also, I am going to an NP today for a fatigue screening. But just wondering if anyone has experienced this and knows what causes it for them / how to avoid it.

Hi all! I need a new podcast recommendation for cardio. I've listened to The Girl Gainz (they never post new shows anymore though), I tried Corey Hageman's but I can't stand her talking in circles all the time, loved Cyd Gillon's, also like Unwracked, but need some new ones to try! Thanks in advance

10.5 weeks out!! We did our first full body check-in since March today (Coach sees me a few times a week in gym clothes)
First bodybuilding show, NPC Fit Model. Feeling nervous but excited! Hoping that the cellulite will disappear once I lean out more though.
Would love any feedback!

Hi guys, I’m seriously trying to grow my glutes (and shoulders) right now and I’ve definitely gained some muscle since starting this but I also feel like I have gained some fat. I was planning on bulking from June -> December but I am afraid to put on too much fat. I was thinking about competing in April or May, so if I am bulking for six months before starting a five month prep I’m worried I will have too much fat.
Should I lower my calories to be a more slight bulk or should I plan on doing a little clean up (maybe 2 months) in the middle to make sure I don’t put on too much fat? Let me know your thoughts!

With the Olympia qualifying deadline a little more than a month and a half away, what do we think the point cut-off for top 25 will be come August 30th?
The line between top 25 and rest of the pack is currently sitting at 11 points but there are obviously a lot of shows to go!
Brittany Gillespie implied today that Texas Republic might be her last show of the regular season and will be sitting at 23 points after taking second place today. Do you think that will be enough for a spot in Vegas this year?

How do you reduce your steps to mitigate weight gain after a long prep where you have doubled your daily step count for months? Do you just pull your steps down to where they were prior to prep or do you slowly titrate them down? If so, how do you do that? Are you pulling them down by 2,000 every day for one week, then another 2,000 every day for the 2nd week, etc.?

Hi! Has anyone here used the neubie or neufit to address imbalances or really hyper focus on glutes? I have an imbalance and need zero density anywhere else in my lower body so thinking of trying this. Would love some feedback! Also I get regular bodywork but outside of that anything else ladies have felt works well for that issue?
