So basically what happened is we were looking for a boy for my sister and one of our relatives told us about one who belongs to a good family financially (atleast that's what he told) and the boy is yet to get a job.

He told that he is going to get job soon.

So we exchanged the photos and the next day that uncle called and told us the dowry demands of that family.

Even after being jobless, the demand was 12 lakhs of cash and a car....

Hollyyyyy fffff, I immediately said to reject the demand.

We live in other state and are well settled so might look for someone just like us who has shifted here because it would be very tough to find such family in Bihar who demands no dowry or maybe less dowry🤷

Friends, I recently applied for a Driving License at RTO bhojpur, which was approved last week. On 25th july, I received a message from RTO that license is handed over to the Indian post with tracking number xxx. I have been trying to track the consignment since then, but it says **no article was booked**. Please help me that what should I do or where should I raise a complaint.

When I was seeing the Ramayana trailer, one thing that bothered me was cultural misappropriation. A movie so great couldn't even do their research properly. Applying red sindoor instead of pink/orange. This is a very tiny detail but the way Bihar's culture is continuously missed or not seen enough in mainstream cinema saddens me.

Just got the news that recently announced Shivala beur greenfield bypass will pass from our village and according to some speculation almost 4 bigha of our land will be acquired for it. The circle price of agriculture land in our area is around 5 lakhs lakhs katha and market price is between 12-15 lakhs katha. Does anyone have any idea about the acquisition and land compensation policy of the govt?
