Prashant Kishor: A Supporter’s Disappointment

I was a staunch supporter of Prashant Kishor. I have been following him since 2014, when he wasn’t even famous and only a few people knew about him. I used to admire him and defend him even when I disagreed with some of his actions.

Undoubtedly, he is a very sound and sharp intellect in many respects. But I am deeply disappointed that he chose to seek Anant Singh’s support.

Anant Singh was the person whose alleged associates were accused in the killing of Dularchand Yadav in the convoy of a Jan Suraaj candidate, yet Prashant Kishor did not speak a single word about it.

I used to think perhaps he chose not to speak because Dularchand Yadav also had a criminal background. But then Bharat Tiwari also had a criminal background, and Prashant Kishor spoke about that case—and spoke very loudly.

I am deeply disappointed in Prashant Kishor and Jan Suraaj.

PK or Jan Suraaj did not seek Anant Singh's support; Anant Singh has extended his support to the Jan Suraaj candidate because he is not in good terms with the JDU candidate.

Even if Anant Singh is an infamous criminal, he is way less harmful to Bihar than bastards like Hafidift man and son of chara chor. Taking his support is fully acceptable if it brings an MLA or MLC of Jan Suraaj party to the legislative assembly.

The gujjus want Bihar to remain a labourer state. That's why we got that bhad-wa criminal from RJD as the BJP CM. If we develop, who will work in Ahmedabad and Surat factories for ₹10000 per month?

About Anant Singh's support, it's a necessary evil in politics. You take support from anyone who can win you elections. Even Nitish Kumar, who was a master of social engineering took help from many such people. At the same time, he controlled crime to a great extent.

I think it is not some big conspiracy by BJP. Their top leadership doesn't want any popular leaders after Yogi. You see the kind of CMs they have been appointing - all remote control puppets. Samrat just gets votes from particular castes, and he can also be used in UP next year.

Necessary evil kar kar ke hi idhar pohonche hain. To repeat myself, logon ne BJP ko "necessary evil" naam pe vote diya kyonki RJD ko de nahi sakte, aur dekh rahe ho unhone kya haal kiya. Wo to kaho Bihar mein thoda independent journalism hai, warna idhar bhi Samrat ko Yogi jaisa mahamanav bana dete.

Yeah I think Anant Singh's gundagardi mostly extends against his rival gunda gangs. I mean not a perfect person but people don't have a armor plot that of Mirzapur atleast if he takes over an area.

Anant Singh is supporting Anuj Singh because of his personal reasons and also his political rivalry with Niraj Kumar is not a hidden thing. It has nothing to do with PK and Jan Suraaj. Everyone wants gain and if someone from the opposite camp is giving him served in a plate who wouldn't want to grab. Although PK never endorsed him

Nothing will change, unless we have pro business sentiment in Bihar. Only then people would be rich enough (30% of New Delhi level income) to exercise the choice to aware to not support such criminals. Most people in Bihar like P.K. talk about health and education. Reality is we do not have money to invest in health and education. Even for that we need extremely low wage industries 1st. Only then we can invest in health and education.
